UVUE

I would never get UVUE dashcams again even if the dealer only offered installation of UVUE. Was hesitant as I had always been satisfied with Blackvue whether from the Product or Service aspects. I got the higher end UVUE Plus product as the dealer only offered UVUE cams. Don't expect to get through UVUE Contact. There is no customer service.

I have the UVUE Plus cams installed both front and back of the car. Navigating through the app or info from the memory card is neither user-friendly. Often, the UVUE wifi does not work. If you stopped the car, you wouldn't be able to connect by the app. Even if you start the car again, you would have to wait about 5 mins before you can find the UVUE connection to obtain info from the phone. More often, it's a frustrating seek to be connected.

Contacting UVUE is another pain. You can choose any of the selection and a pre-recorded message informs that help is available between ... (inaudible) and 5pm. One will hit the jackpot if you have anyone answer the call or provide any service. Leaving messages will not lead to a call back either.

You will never find the back-cam footages from the memory card plugged to the computer.

Blackvue on the other hand has user-friendly products, easy to obtain front and back cam footages and provides good service.
