My washing machine has broken and I've been advised by the V Zug repairer that they don't repair outside of warranty. Apparently v Zug just offers a 25% discount on the purchase of a new machine instead. He said it is only good for scrap- a just on ten year old washing machine that cost thousands of dollars to purchase. I will also add that the… Read more

heat pump broke years ago and the previous V Zug repairer advised to just keep using it because it's too expensive to repair. Absolutely appalling business model and wasteful. Will not be recommending V Zug to anyone.

Great dishwasher but customer service and repairs are appalling. Waiting over a week to get a booking for a repair person to come back as the latch started clunking after their last visit and now machine won't finish cycle as a result. Still nothing from Vzug despite a follow up. Definitely won't be buying this brand again.

Follow-up  · After writing this review, I did get a booking and the repairman was efficient and personable. Almost two weeks without a dishwasher in a busy household wasn’t fun. We tried everything but the fix we needed wasn’t on YouTube or in a manual.

Exceptionally poor service and repair experience once item is out of warranty. I have never spoken to such a rude and condescending person before. Exorbitant call out fees and repair costs in the hundreds. This company has given give me the ick and I’d rather not purchase from them in the future even though their products do look lovely. Just something to consider if you’re looking for a products that are long term investments.

Warming drawer that does not warm!!! – Happy with our 2 V-Zug ovens but we have a V-Zug warming drawer which has stopped working at temp. below 60deg so can not use it for what we want to use it for. Have spent over 700 dollars, including $269.89 for a replacement part which made absolutely no difference. Serviceman said replacement part had not been calibrated by V-Zug,so got… Read more

Costly repair – I wish I’d read all this before I purchased a VZug oven. The inner door glass has cracked and it’s costing me $660 to replace. I’m thinking I should’ve replaced the whole thing. I’ve not found it superior to any other brand I’ve ever had except for the slide out shelves. It also took 2 calls to even have the quite rude service lady call me back. Thanks for the recommendation Winnings (not).

Pricey repair – This little plastic clip in the extractor fan cost us over $700. They couldn’t replace the one clip, it apparently needed a whole new board? Exratctor is only just over 4 years old

Victoria South Gippsland – Rang Thursday 18/05/2023 My machine keep filling the paddles draining water when not in use. Thank you Prad for your assistance in having my washing machine repaired, and the follow up phone calls. Initially, I was worried that there would be not a service agent in our local area. Washing Machine broken for the third time – Paid over $3k for a dishwasher that has had three call out services and still not repaired. Off again today. Very disappointing for a company that asserts to be a premium brand. I have 3 products in my kitchen - two of which do not work - despite services I paid for.

A Westinghouse with a fancy control panel – Oven started an electrical sparking sound after 30 minutes on low oven temp, then went all matrix like and switched off completely. Electrical rebooted the fuse and the oven restarted gain. then it did the same thing. Asked [Name Removed] to replace and they said no they will assess it first to which I said no, its brand new so you need to take… Read more

the broken model and give me one that works. they refused and so I now don't even want the piece of crap. it needs the software to be updated yearly it appears and its just not reliable. I have always had German made Miele or Siemens in the past with no issues and only once did I have an issue and it was replaced after 1 year of use. [Name Removed] stole 2 years of warranty because the builder bought in bulk 2 years prior to residents moving in. they only homier the warranty from the date the builder bought the ovens even though they were not installed for nearly 2 years. So they stole 2 years of warranty. It has less features than brands better and less expensive then they are They refuse to replace broken appliances [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] ( so called management) take an arrogant we know better and we are better attitude, leaving the customer experience lacking severely.

Swiss just don't cut it, stick to German made if I were you.

If you want to be like Miele [Name Removed], try acting like a premium brand ! and that doesn't mean you stick your nose in the air. You charge too much for a hot box with a fancy control panel that doesn't even work.

I couldn't be more disappointed with this company.

All that said. [Name Removed] serviced the oven today as I was the squeaky wheel.. so I will update this once I see how it goes.

To be continued.

Ok then sale date as the so called service and repair with a lengthy how good are [Name Removed] and the oven died after 39 mins on 220 Celsius.

I think I need an upgraded model for ruining 3 expensive meals or a refund so i can buy a Siemens oven. Very very unimpressed !!

V-Zug Not worth the Money - I write this review to help others – I requested the Combi Steam Oven, the Pyrolytic Oven and Full Flex 70cm Induction Cooktop, for my new apartment through the developer. I have had 3 induction cooktops, F & P, Inalto and still have a Bosch. High Price for under performance, just tried to use the Pyrolytic oven function today and does not work, have to get a new Oven door, right… Read more

before Xmas, I have only had these products since end of August 2022, recommended by Winning appliances, but found out later they are the sole agents in Australia. I am in the midst of requesting the Cooktop is exchanged for a Bosch under the Consumer Guarantee. Everyone on this site needs to be aware that paying top price for a product in AU automatically means it is expected to last longer than cheaper brands. In Qld you can contact the Office of Fair trading. I will not put up with overpriced underwhelming products and the Consumer guarantee is there to protect me and everyone. I want to prevent others being conned into buying expensive products with pretty user interfaces, even though it has a 10 year warranty who cares if it does not work well and I might add it has way too many steps to turn the ovens on, I have videos of the performance of the cooktop compared to my bosch using the same pots and pans I have had for years. Their first comments are you need pots with flat bases and very expensive brands, however I have tested and it still under performs. I have the benefit of having used Induction for 5 years in 3 properties. Dont waste your money and more importantly your time. I have never used the boost function on my induction cooktops but with V-Zug it's a must and it does not work consistently either.

Waste of money – We bought 7 appliances for our new house for a very high price 5 years ago We have had problems with every single machine and it is very expensive to fix. Can’t find technical support very easily and every part is expensive . I regret so much buying these brand . I do NOT recommend . I hate the fact that I was made to believe that paying premium price would garantee a long lasting performance and quality .

Lack support – We bought Adora SL dishwasher 8 years ago at a premium price. Now it has stopped working. It was good while it was working. Cleans well and quiet. For the premium price, you would expect it to last longer than 8 years. We live in a country town and there is no VZug trained agent to repair it. We drove the dishwasher 4 hours to the nearest… Read more

authorized agent. After more than 2 months and replacing one part ($300 later), it still doesn’t work. The next part to replace will cost $500, with no guarantee it will fix the problem. Have to go by “a process of elimination” they said. Very expensive to fix (if you want to fix) because they said they can’t test the machine until the part(s) is replaced. It could end up being a bottomless pit.

If you do not live in metropolitan area, think twice about buying a VZug. Once out of warranty, will be very difficult to get it fixed because they don’t have trained technicians outside major cities. Other repairers can’t fix them because they don’t know how to.

Dishwasher/Ovens/Induction cook top - Excellent. Washing machine/dryer - not so much – The title says it all. I cannot fault any of the kitchen products. However, I will never ever be sucked into buying anything in their washing machine/dryer range. Absolute rubbish. loader) + 2 hour wash cycle, ridiculous! The clothes dryer was connected to the washing machine, supposedly in order to do what it does efficiently. Why do I end up with slightly damp clothes after a drying cycle? After 7 years I've had enough. Just purchased a new Fisher and Paykel washing machine and dryer for less than half the price of one of the items from V-Zug. (And the new stuff works very well). Even if the new stuff breaks down after another 7 years, I can go out and buy new replacements and still be in front $$ wise. As previously stated, I have had no issues with the kitchen products whatsoever, they have and do work very well at what they do. Laundry stuff, forget it.

Great ovens – Have had v-zug ovens and induction top for 10 years. Fantastic appliances and will install the same in my new house. Lots of functions and never had any issues. I’ve also had Miele and for cooking appliances I much prefer v-zug. More reliable, more intuitive to use and better functions.

Worst hot plate ever to install – This hot plate is not worth the effort to install it. It won't work off 2 phases and neutral. The install manual shows a diagram of it running from 1, 2 or 3 phases. When it is run from 2P & N you get an error code. I called the tech support line, and they smuggly told me it's illegal to use 2 phases. (Um check your install book). In our state, we… Read more

Great quality and reliability – I have had VZug appliances in my last 2 homes spanning 8 years and was just looking at purchasing some for my new home when I came across these reviews. I have had a great experience with their products including ovens and the combi microwave. High quality, reliable and easy to use.

Overpriced products with cheap plastic parts and poor service – Disappointed on multiple fronts, but especially by the poor reliability and service. Premium price, but reliability and support on the level of cheap Chinese brands. Coffee centre broke and no longer supported after 10 years: have to throw out a $4000. Dryer filter holder plastic part broke after 2 years. Dishwasher makes noise and hinge easily broken by a 2 year old. List goes on ..

Get your demo before you buy – We bought the combi steam oven which we think is great but we haven’t figured out all the possibilities with this appliance as it seems nigh on impossible to book the promised demonstration event. they do they lift the phone and continue speaking to whoever they are with in the store. Obviously insufficient staff and/ or appropriate training on display. Vzug insist that you fill out the store’s enquiry form which you get no copy of or confirmation of. It’s been a very frustrating experience and definitely negatively impacts my impression of vzug. My stars reflect the customer service not the product.

Very Satisfied – We decided to go all-electric and installed a V-Zug Combair SEP electric oven and a 900 mm wide V-Zug induction cooktop 1 1/2 years ago. Both appliances have been functioning perfectly since then. The only criticism we would have is that we found some of the oven command sequences a bit convoluted, but we only ever used fairly basic manual… Read more

appliances before. The 900mm induction cooktop works like a dream and doubles up as a safe place to put hot dishes coming out of the oven. The extra width is definitely worth the expense. We had it equipped with the optional metallic edge protection along its circumference. We recommend this protection which also makes cleaning easy.

VZug Dishwasher = Rubbish! – Bought six VZug products including a dishwasher. Don't be sold into their dishwashers as they are absolutely rubbish. Very expensive & we are hand washing most days. Unreliable washing machine and poor after sales service – Would echo other reviews around poor after sales service. Bought a vzug washing machine for over $3500 around 6 years ago and it completely stopped working 3 weeks ago. Unreliable product and poor aftersales service – We purchased an oven (SLPZ60) and another combi steam oven. Within a year the oven failed. Getting V-Zug to fix was an ordeal in itself. They were slow to respond and needed constant chasing to order parts. They had two attempts to fix. Oven eventually replaced. New oven 12 mts old and has another fault and uneven cooking. Still had to chase V-Zug to even respond to request for support. Do not buy V-Zug products.

v-zug laundry, sometimes you don't get what you pay for... (UPDATED) – Now on my 5th repair, V-zug are responsive, and once the extended warranty had expired the charges to repair the appliance via third party repairer AWR have been reasonable, but this is a $5,000 washing machine, I didn't buy it for the service I bought it for the reliability. Right now I have a service request open given the main bearing on the… Read more

machine sounds like it is failing, fingers crossed they are responsive and the repair cost is reasonable.

UPDATE : August 2021. The folks at V-Zug gave me a loan machine whilst they figured out why my original machine had such poor reliability; it's unclear if lockdowns and COVID explain why I still have the loan machine more than 1 year later or if they figured out the original unit was uneconomical to repair, but I'm glad they made the decision to let me keep this machine - (or maybe they forgot?) - still, that feels like amazing service. Yet, as I mentioned above, I spend good money on a top-end machine for reliability, and the replacement machine has now turned faulty so maybe I can't win after all? Heat pump has failed albeit the machine still washes perfectly, just consumes more power than it would if the heat pump were functioning properly.
