It does the job – Good little pram for what i needed it for. Easy to fold and clean.only downside is the front wheels locking together sideways making it impossible to push at times. Valco need to come up with a fix for this. Show details ·  1

Good! – It is easy to maneuver. Easy to fold and unfold but it is quite bulky so takes a bit of storage space. Not too heavy and not too light either. It is comfortable and soft inside so don’t really need too much of padding. It keeps baby warm in the winter.

Overall disappointment – I bought this pram with my daughter who is now 2. I have another baby on the way and this one is definitely being replaced with something else. It is heavy, bulky and awkward to manoeuvre, I've had to replace the rear tyre tubes 10+ times just from footpath and inside use and was constantly having to pump them up as well. One wheel at the front… Read more

is completely dicky making it so I always have to lock the front tyres.

The bulk makes storage an issue when it's not in use too.

The only pros I can really note is the extendable hood (so good I'm considering sticking with Valco but going a better model like the Snap Ultra TM with rubber filled tyres. Never going tubed again) and the easy recline on the seat.

Good for long walks and jogging, but quite bulky to pack up – Pram can be awkward to maneuver if you are not used to the wheel locking. i used this pram to jog with my baby boy, its very rugged and have shock absorber. we hardly used this pram, as its quite bulky to pack up and sometimes i forgot how to pack up and unpack.

I love this pram! – I love this pram! It is a dream to push over uneven terrain and up hills. And can literally be pushed with one finger on a flat surface (ie shopping centre). It has a large comfortable seat and our daughter loves riding in the pram and sleeping in it. The only downfall is that it is only forward facing, so after our daughter grew out of the… Read more

capsule I wasn't ready for her to be forward facing, so I bought a second pram for the few months that I felt I needed it. We have had a few flat tyres but they are easily fixed at the local bike shop, and I would rather have a pram that's easy to push and tolerate a few flat tyres than to be constantly pushing around a heavier pram simply to avoid flat tyres. It looks bulky but has a really compact fold and easily fits in half the boot of our Mitsubishi Outlander. Plus the back wheels can be easily popped off to make it smaller again to fit in the boot. It also is a quick, one manouver fold. It also carries HEAPS of shopping in the large basket. I just really love this pram, it's a great price and I'm suprised I don't see more of them around.

Overall not pleased – I bought this pram without doing my research but came to find that i barely used it out of frustration with the front wheels that would get stuck in a sideways position whilst doing the shopping forcing me to put the front wheels in a locked position which made steering really difficult. Not happy with this purchase.

Dangerous pram. Impossible to steer – Quad X dangerously useless I am so frustrated with my quadX. I almost had a serious accident with my baby as I alighted from a train because this pram is poorly built and substandard and the front wheels don't work. I have contacted customer service to be sent a part that was already on my pram. That doesn't fix anything. When I try to call… Read more

the company I just get voice mail.

I brought this pram because it was recommended by Choice magazine. I will be writing an honest review on that site as well.

valco quad x – Love the size and weight of this pram as well as the easy fold. BUT the front wheels are terrible, they don't swivel properly and make it extremely hard to manouvre. Dread taking it out as it makes pushing it horrible! I wish I had purchased a totally different pram.

Great pram no regrets – After much deliberation we bought this pram. Good points- relatively light weight, easy to fold and set up, sturdy design, full flat recline so baby sleeps comfortably, great suspension over rough terrain, looks great, easy to take off the wheels and put back on if you don't have a large enough boot. The hood is amazing and goes right down to… Read more

create a little sleeping cocoon for baby to sleep in. Easy to clean and adjust straps. My only complaint is the two front wheels don't maneuvre very well, seems the wheels get stuck in one position and don't swivel welll so we have them locked in the front position to get around that issue. In 12 months we have only had to pump tires up twice so no big deal there. Overall a great pram especially if you like to go outdoors and plan on taking lots of walks. Baby sleeps peacefully while you get around to do your stuff.
