Waste of money – Have used it 3 times in 18 months. The powerhead stopped working after the first use. The hose is the hardest thing to remove once connected, so now is majorly bulky to store. Useless on carpet, thank goodness the dog is not an inside one. Can only use on hard floor surfaces. Now I rarely vacuum due to anxiety and frustration!
Purchased in at Big W for $148.

Powerful – I love the power of Vax. I have had 3, they seem to stop working after about a year which is really annoying but i always lose my warranty. The amount of dirt and dust that it can get up amazes me everytime even if it's only been a couple of days you'll be surprised. Large barrel and long cord and hose so your not pulling it every couple of seconds. Definitely recommend for those with pets of kids

Horrible – I was very happy with this when I first started using it. Then it started losing suction, clogging constantly and needing emptying every few minutes. I have had it 3 months, hardly used it and it cant handle anything more than hardwood floors. It said it was great for pet hair but does nothing except push it into a pile for you to pick up by hand. The turbo nozzle broke after 2 uses, spinning fine unless it was diabolically asked to, you know, touch the floor! I I have only been reluctant to return it as it was a gift. I contacted Vax twice over the last month through their "Contact Us" page but they are apparently too busy pumping out crap vacuums to bother with customers who have already given them cash. So I wouldn't expect any help if needed from Vax. Certainly one company I will never buy from again, or recommend.
