And on the odd occasion when an weird issue arises that is best handled with phone call, even issues that turn out to be not VentraIP's issue are efficiently resolvable (e.g. one resolved using https://whatismyipaddress.com/ ). We've been through many domain and hosting services over many years. And we still use other services for foreign domainnames including one starting with Go[somethingorother], and a trademarks and IP focused company. VentraIP support quality and performance stands out above all the rest my miles and miles.

Although I'm still in the process of building my website, I've found the VIPSites Website Builder to be very easy to use, and is meeting most of my needs... domain name purchase has been extremely affordable, and I'm very happy and satisfied with the experience so far!

they have no requirement to publicly show a domain owner's name in full. Still waiting for a reply but I don't think "[Name Removed]" took the matter seriously and failed to raise it further as no repy ever received. Blaming AUDA for something that isn't their requirements and hiding when questioned about it, is very poor customer service!

every time I have contacted them. They have helped me to organise whatever changes or additions would be required to achieve whatever I connected then about each and every time. Last week we needed entries entered so that our new website could go live. I rang to make sure that I had supplied enough information when I created a ticket for technical assistance. The estimated time when I created the ticket was 4 hours before they would be able to check my ticket. During my phone call the VentraIP tech assistant said that the info supplied was adequate and that he would be able to start on it straight away as it was an easy issue to assist with rather than a complex problem. Sue enough required entries to or domain done and website ready to go live. Or Website builders made comment about the excellent error free service and asked me who was handling our domain. They were excited to find out that it was VentraIP who they said they believed was another QLD company like themselves. I'm a Sth Aussie so my excitement about the possible QLD bit wasn't such a high issue. But I can highly recommend VentraIP to the domain novice like me or to any one. couldn’t, I was told, “I can’t transfer you to another person and I can’t call you back. Why don’t you try emailing us instead.” This easy dismissal and lack of support doesn’t inspire confidence. Despite being an Australian-based company, their service quality is far below expectations. Not recommended !!!

In summary, I received a callback from the Customer Support Manager shortly after posting this review. He kindly apologised for the delay in chat support, explaining that it was due to staff lunch breaks and not reflective of their usual service standards. I appreciate the prompt follow-up and the effort to clarify the situation.

Following day, Tried tel and chat support again. However Both support platforms unavailable. It was not until 15 hours that I finally received a reply from support via eticket.

I contacted customer support and have been told there is nothing they can do. You just deleted thousands of dollars of website because you could not pick up the phone and call one of your customers. years. The customer support is so bad and my whole website was deleted. I re activated the hosting but to no avail.

So a few years of work is gone with them, I will need to find an old backup somewhere, even though most were stored with them.

For anyone looking into hosting, just be very careful with Venra IP, you don't want the same thing happening to you as it did me. Look for a much more reliable hosting provider as these guys might look good on the surface, but underneath it's woeful.

Their computer billing system doesn't recognise a second payment card so when you have to cancel a card and replace it whilst they are trying to debit.... it will expire your domain name and your website attached to to it goes dark...even if you have autorenew Very frustrating and antiquated

11 years with VentraIP and defiantly not leaving, says its all. As we live in the tic tok generation it's easy to take my business elsewhere but when you find excellent service, pricing, support etc. from an Australian owned and operated business the tic Tok is replaced by a family feeling of long term belonging.
