What is up with Veolia in regional WA at the moment. Myself and a colleague have been calling every day to book a waste collection. message said I was first in the queue and my call would be answered in 5 minutes! Another message was to leave my number and they would call me straight back - I called 5 times, left number and did not get one call back! Veolia - you have missed two collections and we are left with a health issue on site.

About twice a week for many months I have been calling and emailing to get our billing address changed and we are also getting duplicate bin hire fees for 3 sites, when we only have the 1 site. They will say its been fixed, then next months invoice and statement will have the same address error. Maybe its impossible for them to fix address errors? I am looking for alternatives. Show details

have wasted breaking down our machines in readiness for their truck, only for them to not show up is heart breaking. Customer service beyond awful. Nobody at this company tells you the truth or does anything about the issue. It must be a lot harder to be this bad than it is to actually do the job they are supposed to do. If only there was someone else we could use, but until we find that other option, we will keep making bookings with the hope that they do turn up. No wonder companies dump their waste illegally if you cannot get the waste service contractor to turn up and collect it. Beyond frustrating.

 Follow-up  · The title of this is not from me, this was not a money issue, it was a service issue. We ended up getting the liquid waste truck and the driver was excellent. There were issues on the day when the truck did not show up at the specified time and was apparently on the other side of town and would come to us later in the day. This did happen, so it was good enough.

Paid extra for double bin service in One Mile, Port Stephens. Twice so far (commenced 2 weeks ago) bins have not been emptied. Hopeless service. Do not use this Company.

anger and seeing complete RED! Melbourne services are NON existent, and do they care NO they do not! Our poor staff are left working in between rubbish because for over 2 weeks we have been struggling to get Veolia out to our new address.

Bad experience – Very bad customer service, My car got smashed due to the truck dropped the bin and hit my car, the driver left the note and I contacted them, everytime it says forwarded to operations and they will contact you once there is an update and claim number from insurance, it is been around 2 months and not even an update.

every week. for some reason your accounts stop service because of outstanding invoice, which i was shocked and apologized, told them to pay Straight away, upon calling my accounts i have been updated with all the invoices were paid a week prior, i send the screenshot to accounts and dumbest and most stupid answer i have got through email, we apologies, your services have been resumed please call collection and book service. Really? are you guys even serious? isn't this Veolia? apparently one of the leading wastes management companies with the worst IT system which can't auto update upon clearing all funds. i really want anyone of your company to come and have a look at my bin room, it is 16ft long and 9 ft wide, 9 ft Hight, and its chuck a block with all bin bags and card boards, now i started to keep that rubbish in mu stock room and its stinks, even customers on drive through started to complain about rotten smell. I was frustrated and called hub to cancel service instead of helping me out, one of representee told me they are sending me cancellation form, i mean what's going on in your company? does people have proper qualification for what they do, or you guys are desperate to hire anyone with no work ethics. i need final answer from you, whoever is the concerned person to sort this matter out and take all the rubbish or please send me cancelation latter so i can cancel service from rest of 14 stores as well.

nothing. We would have usually had a collection by now but now we are of course very low priority and the bin is taking up space on the road and proving hazardous.

We were charged $322.13 per collection with a $20.94 fuel surcharge each time from Veolia. The bin was always in very poor condition and covered in sections of rust. Lid prop broke off, we asked for a replacement bin which was provided but was missing the lid prop and was in poor rust condition also. Now paying $160.00 per collection with our new provider Cleanaway, who provided what appears to be a brand new bin with lid prop.

means they are providing a bin not fit for purpose. And the kicker here is they tell me to pay to have it emptied and apply a futile charge for their non service. How poor is that, considering i have called and emailed each time . This is just poor. Now im looking for other avenues to try and try and get a resolution. Pardon the pun. But their responses are rubbish

 Follow-up  · Consistantly missed tuesday and thursday fir 6 weeks and still charged. Bin was 1100 litres and only 1/4 filled . Told to pay someone else to empty. I gave notice of termination and bin gets emptied that night. I now have containers for change bins and issue seems to be resolved.

cancel our service and organise for our bin to be removed by the 12th of June. I was told this was no problem. Our bin was still there on the 12th. On the 18th I rang again to see why the bin had STILL not been removed and was told my request had been sent to accounts and was sitting with them. It is now the 30th, the bin is still here and I've been on hold for 20 minutes already (usually its 45 minutes+ so not expecting "one of their friendly team members to be with me shortly"). Update. After being on hold for 30 minutes (shockingly my shortest wait time!) I was told it is scheduled to be removed tomorrow. Not sure why I was not notified of this. We will wait and see if it actually happens. I would not recommend Veolia!

In less than 4 days from that contact I received a nasty little letter stating that unless I paid immediately or contact them to arrange payment-(which I had), Veolia would send the big bad people after me….do they ever look at their own performance? Would highly recommend choosing another company for waste rubbish removal-this company is just not worth the trouble you will end up with sooner or later!

management team reads this as constructive criticism that it is. To call 5 times in a 8 day period in an attempt to have a regular bin emptied after the regular attempt failed, having half the bins contents on the footpath & the other half left behind in the bin, I don't think that's considered job done. What's more frustrating than the bin not being emptied properly, was being told that after my 4th phone call that there had only been 1 of my calls logged, whatever that means. On call 5 I gave up, it was apparent there is a systematic issue within the admin team, those on the road & also doing the task at hand in this case. Nobody wants to get frustrated & annoyed with you & in fact I'm grateful for the service but there's something amiss with your system, it's a waste of everyone's energy for a client to call so many times & for the information to keep going around & around & the lack of action is the problem here, I hope this is an isolated event.

Please do not even embark on a contract with Veolia. Have had the worst experience with them. It was taking 2-3 months to get hazardous waste removed. We were constantly calling and emailing them- radio silence from their end. You would be lucky if you get a response a week from enquiring.

If there is any possible alternative to Veolia I will use them. Please recommend alternatives to me here. Veolia have promised twice in the last month to empty our industrial bin and have not. It seems They have become a monopoly who have no incentive to deliver good service. I guess that is why they do not deliver good service.

Veolia failed. 3 strikes and your out! – Called on Friday to get septic pumped and job logged. Monday nothing heard. Rang Tuesday stated I would be called that afternoon- no call. Called Wednesday they stated won’t be able to do it until next week or the week after. Called a local contractor directly who will do it tomorrow.

audacity to invoice me for these non pick-ups. I have disputed the invoices but they keep sending them. Just incredible that you can charge people for doing nothing. On the contrary they cost ME money as I lost so much time making special trips to put out the bins. Maybe I should invoice them

Disgusting company-zero customer service-zero empathy – A disgusting company as is evidenced by all the reviews here, if I could give minus 10 stars I would. They come and collect rubbish in a neighbouring property, and then after doing that they decide to park in the next door commercial premises for 5 minutes and longer making noise. They do not give a stuff about the neighbouring residents and the noise that they are imposing on them.

minutes, the phone rings constantly then goes back to the messages that "my call is very important to them" Clearly it is not. Do not get involved with VEOLIA find another company and spare yourself the angst.

Very poor Avoid unless you like been ripped off – What a shonky company. The fees are just rising constantly and are excessive. Think about this. If you keep just putting costs up for everyone then they figure most are locked in or wont notice. Customer service is disgraceful. This is a typical case of all smoke and mirrors.

Save your money by “not” using Veolia – The service is not too bad, however, in the seven years that we have been using them their prices have tripled. Consequently, we decided to choose a more affordable waste disposal company. never replied to and it is 'my fault' as the emails are being "replied to on their end" I don't have an issue with my work emails coming or going to anywhere else. We already have an account with you so how hard is it to just drop off a cardboard bin?! we will be looking for another company as this one is just ridiculous. another fun fact, we were constantly being charged a blocked access fee because the driver could not be bothered hopping out of his truck to unlock the gate with the combination on file.

The worst customer service – This company caused damage to my nature strip and storm water pipe whilst removing household rubbish,confirmed by my local Council. After numerous emails a representative attend the site and asked me to provide the repair invoice from my Plumber which I did. Appalling customer service – After being with Veolia for many years I asked for my bin to be emptied and locked up as I was moving factory. They emptied the bin and left it at the old property for a number of weeks and in doing so it ended up being filled by others. I rang them to explain the situation and no care at all for the years of being a customer.
