Victorian House Inspections

This purchase is being held up thanks to Jim's Building inspections being vigorously checked – I had a Building inspector from Jim's building inspections do a thorough house inspection for me for a property I want to buy. The inspection was very thorough and opened my eyes to a lot of costly repairs if I continued with the purchase and not having these rectified prior to me taking ownership. A lot of the issues raised were not apparent to me as they seemed trivial but unfortunately not safety compliant. There were larger issues like retaining walls and drainage that needed repairs and would be very expensive.

1st class service – Damien is a personable and extremely thorough specialist who will provide an honest report. He is punctual, thorough and respectful-the rarest kind of professional. Where another inspector merely relied on a drone report, Damien entered the roof cavity and made a careful evaluation.
