Villa Carlotta Short WA Tours – I had the "pleasure" of having joined VC for a short trip to Albany in December '23. The company within the group was great however, unfortunately in my opinion the tour driver had a tendency not to appreciate ethnic backgrounds which spoiled the atmosphere. He thought I was too "naive" not to notice his attitude and apparently was not aware of the fact that migrants do not necessarily come from poor backgrounds, many are very well educated (tertiary). Sad to see that apparently this type of attitude still exists among Australian Citizens. He was apparently not keen seeing me wearing a mask while on the bus without knowing that I have a lung condition and am ordered by my Specialist to always wear a mask when in confined spaces, nothing to do with Covid. It goes to show how limited the knowledge of a bus driver is, needing more education to broaden his scope of knowledge (?).

Also, I would not ever try the so called "Happy New Year's" tours anymore because according to the itinerary we would watch the year out while watching fire works from the boat however, we were taken on the cruise to watch the skyworks at 9pm (!!) and had to pretend it was 12am and then head back to the Hotel! Is 9pm Villa Carlotta's New Year?! Not good value whatsoever because we are being cheated upon, there WAS a 12am session but they decided to do it the lazy way.... Never again!
