Volta Contour

Great little vacuum for the price! – A great little vacuum cleaner for the price. I bought this for around $90 3 or more years ago and love it! I have a fully tiled house with a big rug in the lounge but 2 $300 vacuums before this little guy had failed just out of warranty. Would certainly buy again. Even if this one failed now I would be ok with it as it's been a great little unit.

Good little vacuum for the price – My late dad bought this vacuum simply to vacuum out the car but he became incapable of driving the car so he never used the new vacuum. I took it and have used it. It came with a few new bags and a reusable bag which is the only bag I've used. It has quite good suction on carpets and is excellent on bare floors. It was only a cheap vacuum and now I use it in my house as my present vacuum no longer sucks well.

Love my Volta contour gen 3 – Small but powerful , have had it for a bit over a year it's now nov 2012 and it's still sucks as good as the day I bought it , also love that they put a memo sticker on the vac so u don't forget what the name of the bags are so going to buy one for my mum !!! doesn't quite wind back up all the way maybe the last 80cm but none other vacuums iv had have winded back up either

Cheap to buy, but I don't think it will last long – I purchased the Volta as a second vacuum to clean the families two cars. I previously owned a Cheap Sanyo Vacuum that had been doing this job for over 10yrs before finally giving up the ghost. I don't think the Volta is going to last that long. the Volta repair agent nearly 5 weeks to repair and return the unit. So not off to a good start.

Since then the vacuum worked well, but 6 months on I've noticed that it is rusting on the inside of the metal tube that connects to the hose.

I don't think it's going to last. I think I would give it 2 1/2 stars. Cheap, good suction and easy to use You get what you pay for, I don't think it is built to last

OK – This is a good vacuum cleaner which was inexpensive and has been working for all these years. It can be dragged or carried into each room and the cord is long and convenient. cleaner which I have been using for the past couple of years and I havent had any problems with it. It is very compact in size and is fairly light weight to take from room to room. The vacuum cleaner bags are always so dear, which is a bit irritating. There are some attachements that come with this cleaner, like for curtains, furniture and I feel that these work okay, but they are a bit fiddly to use just because they are so small and fit onto the side compartment of the cleaner.
