Vornado 683 Medium Pedestal Air Circulator

Good fan but the feet keep falling off – The fan is good quality blows well, 3 speed, but the knob is on the front, no remote, almost every time I touch it,it collapses. The legs are the worst design I’ve ever seen, they push into a set of jaws you tighten at the bottom, it’s so cumbersome and never stable, the guy who invented the legs should be sacked, could be a good product but it’s really let down by this.

Absolutely Perfect – I purchased this Vornado Pedestal fan online from David Jones. Living in the tropics, any extra breath of fresh air is welcomed. We have had and tried many fans from the old skool round grill type, tiwer fans, and the smaller pop top and other USB rechargeable fans. We keep a fan on 24/7 in our bathroom as it gets humid and the fans dries the air as-well as the daily towels.
This Vornado is simply amazing.
It stands still. It blows in all directions without oscillating. The wind some comes from it is nice and powerful.
It looks great. Much nicer than the other fan type from any electrical or department store.
Expensive, yes, but highly satisfying. So much so, we are buying a second.
The one that we purchased had a slight fault in the switch connection after four months.
I contacted VORNADO Australia. Within minutes, I received a response asking for my name and address so they could send me a brand new replacement which is currently in the post.
AMAZING service and full peace of mind.
I can only recommend this pedestal fan as blowing super strong air in all direction without moving, and looking like a piece of furniture. Could not be happier.

Wish I had known about these ages ago – I live in a small unit and don't have air-conditioning, I tried a portable air con years ago but the noise and power cost made me toss it. I use a fan but they just push around hot air in the really warm periods. My neighbour told me about Vornado so I looked them up and did some research and bought one. They are not cheap, it cost me around $230.00 delivered, THEY ARE WORTH EVERY CENT. They do exactly what the web site tells you they do. Yesterday I ordered a second one for the bedroom, saves me carrying it from the lounge room at night and back to the lounge room the next day. Also, I have had a few fans that were advertised as "whisper quiet" they weren't, the Vornado is and as far as I can tell its power usage is minimal. I would give it a 5 star rating but it doesn't make coffee as well, maybe down the road it will.
Update: I’d had enough of this fan continuously falling over so I purchased the Shark fan it’s sooo much better, sturdy and quiet, I threw the Vornado in the rubbish where it belongs
