Vornado Pivot Personal Air Circulator

Looks great, not much of a fan though – This fan is a small, 10.5 diameter fan for desktop use. I bought it to replace 1) a much larger fan, the base of which got broken in a move and 2) a rubbish USB powered desktop fan costing about AU$15. better but not $15 > $79 better. To get any sort of air movement it has to be on the highest setting 3. 1 and 2 are a waste of time. With the fan 2 feet away you can barely feel any breeze at all. I have left it running overnight a couple of times because I forgot it was on and there was no obvious breeze to remind me.

Looks good, great design, quiet when running but not much of a fan and definitely grossly overpriced for such poor performance.
