Best ever – I have been practicing with a hair straighter for months and could never get it right and my hair would turn out frizzy it was the straighter i was using not me i just brought this and woohoo with no trouble at all it worked and so easy best buy ever

Takes too long to straighten my hair – My hair is medium textured curly and like most curly hair sometimes frizzy. It took 1hr and 15 minutes to achieve a reasonable anti-fizz straightish dull looking hair style. My old hair straightner achieved super glossy perfect straight hair in 15 to 20 minutes, but unfortunately after 5 years it has done it's last faithful straightening perfection job. The vital Sassoon comes no where near the capability of a great hair straightner and to top it off , I now can't even unlock the straightner to use again!!!! Hopeless! For $100 save your money spend a bit more a buy one that will get the job faster and better.

Amazing straightener – I have very thick, frizzy hair. The VS Sasoon model VSS500A is so quick and easy to use. It has different temperature settings, heats up evenly and has a heat protect mode too. The travel pouch is good quality and makes for easy storage!

So far, so good – This ceramic straightener heats up really quickly, turns off if you forget and leave it on and has a hair protector function mode adn 12 heat settings. The bag it comes with is perfect for travelling and acts as a heat mat if you have a delicate surface to use it on. I like it a lot.
