Would not be without it – Cannot go without my VS hot air brush n style. I take it everywhere. I dry my fine medium length hair with it - great for tucking under bob style haircuts. Also next day if I have "bed hair" just slightly wet hair and reshape with hot brush and set to go again. Love it and would recommend it.

Have returned item – To be factual.... plastic. gets very hot, does not achieve any curl/volume at all even holding the 'brush' for 30 seconds t o try and get a bend This is on short to medium fine hair = would be absolutely no good for longer hair. This product has been discontinued anyway.

I am rating the VS8080A which is the VS2014-2A's replacement. Love it! – The Hot Air Brush 'n Style VS2014/2A is a discontinued model and has been replaced with Hot Air Brush 'n Style VS8080A. I bought the VS8080 just in the last week and am very impressed. It took 10 minutes to blow dry my hair after washing it, far quicker than my blow dryer! With 3 different settings from cool to high it's very versatile, not to… Read more

mention light to hold which is a real bonus after using a heavier blow dryer. It has a bristle brush and ceramic brush. Very reasonably priced as well!

Can't get by without it - indispensable! – I have had this styler to straighten my hair for so long I can't remember. Could not get by without it. So much so that I bought a few extra in case they discontinued it! Have the old ones and a new one. Never use the brush attachment - that is impossible to use, but always the thermal attachment. Very long lasting. Fantastic, convenient, practicable.

Love it so so so much! – I am so in love with this hot air brush N style and i used it everyday! I have really fine and long hair therefore my hair is always messy everyday when i woke up from the bed. But then this hot air brush literally just solve my problem! And most importantly i only need to spend like only 5 minutes to style my hair every morning. Sometimes i also… Read more

used it as a hair dryer if my hair is still wet when i am about to go to sleep because it dries up my hair way faster than my hairdryer does!

Really worth getting! – I am one of those people with lots of fine hair, its hard to control, hairdryers usually just make it fluffy and straighteners just burn it and still kind of make it look fluffy and frizzy, its only really when I get a professional blowdry or straightened it looks good, and I just can't master that, so this is pretty amazing, it makes my hair… Read more

relatively straight, shiny and silkier, not frizzy or wiggly like it gets when it air dries or I blowdry it, which is pretty amazing because my hair is always a fluffball the day I wash it but I just run this through a few times and its like the hairdresser has blow dried it, doesn't take me any time at all. I suppose the only thing is that it doesn't make my hair straight like a straightener, it just makes it as naturally straight as it might get, if that makes sense? I have a lot of layers that curl up and it just gives me sleeker versions of that, not pin straight hair, without the layers maybe my hair would get pretty close to pin straight and I'd be happy with that, but having said that it makes my hair so smooth and straight all over, that if I did want to use a straightener to make it pin straight, then I would only have to use it a little bit on the ends maybe, and not my fry my whole head with it, so that being the case I still think it's a great product. The only other thing that concerns me though is whether this would damage your hair over time? Because it's still hot air blowing right on your hair, but the cooler heat setting is quite a good temperature that it hasn't seemed to dry my hair out yet, and from other reviews it looks like people use this every day which makes me think it mustn't be wrecking peoples hair so that's a good sign.

Love it – I have been using the vs hot air n style for many many years, I cannot use the bristle brush on my hair but cannot be without the thermal brush, I can't use anything else, would be lost without it, just wish you could replace the thermal brush as I have about 20 stylers laying around because the thermal brush only lasts about 6 months. Please… Read more

don't discontinue this product........... Is the only styler on the market I can use on my fine hair, not even a hairdresser can give me the result I want Should be able to buy thermal brush separately, I used to be able to quite a few years ago but doesn;t happen anymore

Loved....until it died – I absolutely loved brush and used it almost everyday. My poor hair dryer was no longer needed and my hair straighter was rarely used (only to fix a few small kinks). I'd divide my hair into 4 sections and once each section was done I'd turn it off to prepare the next only to have it quite hot and not turn back on for 5 or so minutes. I would… Read more

usually have to wait longer for it to turn back then to do my whole head of hair.

Today it died, had a burning kind of smell and makes a sick sound.

I may have had a dud.

I only had it 2-3 months.

Dispute the negatives I'll defiantly buy a new one, just one that will last a little longer and won't get so hot. Quickly styled my hair, gave more body an volume, not much need for other tools (hair dryer/straightner) Didn't last long, got very hot and wouldn't turn back on until it cooled down.

An epiphany in hairstyling! – Unbelievably brilliant. After 20+ years of battling with my thick, coarse, dry, frizzy mop, trying everything from smoothing styling products, GHDs and chemical straightening, my hairdresser recommended the VS hot air brush n style. From first use I'm in love with what it can do. It's quicker to use than blow drying straight and using the ghds and… Read more

looks like I've had a stylist work on it. It gives body and shine like nothing I've been able to achieve before and urged all the ladies I know to go get one quick sharp! The price is v reasonable, $35 (aus) with 2 yr warranty. Seriously. Try it! Inexpensive. lightweight and fantastic! Just a bit worried about the bigger brush lasting but at the price they cost I'll just go buy another one!

Love it, love it, love it!! – So easy to use, very effective, straight polished hair every time. Best when hair is about 50% dry before using. I have fine hair and it's great for some body and lift. I use my Hot Air Brush every day on my fringe, I'd be lost without it now! Over 12 months and still going strong!! Reliable, good value, and it WORKS! Price but after 12 months of use, and still going stong, hard to fault. Show reply

Excellent – so i bought the hot air brush to create more volume on my limp hair. i've tried several ways of using the hot air brush, on towel dried hair, 50% dried hair and 100% dried hair. for me it works best on 50% dried hair. i get the most volume on day 1, day 2 and day 3. usually on day 2 my hair goes limp again but this time it didn't. day 3 still… Read more

OK – Available in Australia through Clive Peters, David Jones RRP $42. Clive Peters in Hobart TAS will do card sales by phone and will post. (I have just bought one this way to save me a 6 hour day travelling to town.) Retravision do not handle card sales over the phone and will not post. Harvey Norman will not post. I rang ConAir after their round… Read more

brush dryer and they gave me the model number that turned out to be the Vidal Sassoon dryer. So VS is made by ConAir. Have an older model VS and wanted a faster and ionic dryer so if it is as good or better than my old one I will be cheering. Hasn't arrived yet.

Excellent – Please, do not delete this item from your range. I also would be lost with out it. It is such a winner for people who have fine hair & who are uncoordinated like me in using a hair dryer & roll Brush. Its a winner. Its great for very fine hair. Unlike other hot air brushes, it doe not have vents where it conects to brush. THe air is evenly blown… Read more

through the brush Like other reviews, I agree that the high setting may be a little to hot. I very rarely use this setting.

This product is truly a godsend! – After years of fighting with my curly and/or frizzy hair (depending on the weather), I am loving what the Hot Air Brush 'n Style does for my hair. It straightens it while leaving it full bodied - unlike hair straighteners which leave it looking thin and fly-away. If I do want a bit of soft curl, it can do that too. It is brilliant! The price was attractive, and it's a breeze to use. There's nothing about it that I'm not happy with.

Didn't last – I bought this product 3 months ago. At first it was great, but now the bristles are bent and broken so it doesn't grip my hair nearly as well as it did to begin with. I am now shopping for a similar model that has stronger bristles. I have a lot of hair and it's a bit wavy, but it isn't so exceptional that other people wouldn't have the same… Read more

problem. I looked after the product. It just hasn't been made to last. Very disappointed. East to use. Bristles didn't last longer than three months.
