Warrumbungles Mountain Motel

Very dissapointing return visit. Has changed hands since 2021 from wonderful previous owners [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] to new owners and is a sad state of neglect. Pool is thick and greener than the lawns (bindiis), gardens over-run, camp kitchen and facilities haven't been cleaned for so long they are full of flaking rust and spiders. No power to kitchen facilities or ladies toilets (no lights of a night in either - dangerous). Garbage overflowing and blowing around where the golf course used to be, the stench in the toilets is gagging, and junk piled up everywhere. I sympathise with the ?caretakers? who are no more than kids out of their depth. We only camped 2 nights and witnessed zero attempt at maintenance - the rooms may be fine - or they may be cockroach nests - we didn't want to find out and left ASAP.
