professionalism but it was his upfront nature and honesty that sold us. Angelo guided us every step of the way and recommended us to connect every month with him on our progress which helped us to be prepared in advance and secure a loan. There are not many finance brokers who will personally care for their clients but Angelo made sure to find a way around for us while there were many hiccups. calls, emails & following up we have done is what led us to leave Waterstone & complete this process on our own.

I would not recommend Waterstone to anyone!!!

Waterstone No No! – We had just gone to the bank to get our loan amount and we were knocked back hard! We had enough money and all but the lady we got "service" from didn't want to help us. In we went down in the dumps but ready to see what might be able to happen.

We were over joyed to hear no problems you will build you house!!

Great!!

This is what we wanted!

We got all the right outsources involved so then we could get the ball rolling, we had already picked our house and put money down on a block. On after a week or three! of waiting for the contracts to be written up we signed everything and signed up for the FHOG got told to wait about 2 weeks at max to hear back.

After Just before the 2 weeks was up I chased up to see how everything was going, "oh sorry we aren't able to get you the home loan we are going to have to apply for a land loan and then wait till later and apply for the house loan you both need to come back and re sign everything"

Annoyed by we were assured this happens all the time!

In short the land loan took over 4 months!!!! 4 months!!! so much for 2 weeks!!

Well over this time I was on the ball chasing her up to push everything she just kept saying it was the bank, also we had our admin person chasing us up to do everything for the house otherwise they wouldn't build!!

We didn't even have our land yet when we picked colours to try and get them off our backs!

After the land was settled I was right onto the phone and email chasing up my House loan, saying I didn't want this to stuff around again otherwise we have re spoken to three banks that will get it done.

"no no don't worry it will all be okay" More signing of documents and another FHOG

Phone and email for over 2 months chasing up why it took too long, then one day I got a phone call.

"we have heard back from the bank they won't give you the loan for the house you will have to save for three months and re try or provide us with $8000 in two days"

what?

We were already Renting and paying off the land and a car from the pervious year now they want $8000 out of no where did I look like the genie from Aladdin??

Not only was there shock but she choose to call me at work and ask this stupid request!

I couldn't breathe and said bye, I was straight onto the bank of melbourne.

I demanded that they opened my file to see what the hell was going on seeing Waterstone wouldn't tell me anything.

I found out we had been background checked 3 times, the bank didn't understand why and none of the FHOG we signed had been applied for, so over 2 months they had done nothing and guess what.

It was not even two weeks away from the end of the 20,000 FHOG

We were about to have to make up 20,000!!!

The bank were right onto it took them two weeks to ensure we got the loan and even personally contacted FHOG to ensure we still got the 20,000.

Within the month we had a loan and started building less then a month ago and so far this is running smoothly!!

Now I've made my mark on the admin woman we sadly got dealt and the Waterstone assistant.

Do not use Waterstone!

Unless you want people to waste you time!
