After repairing a huge crack in the ceiling I decide to paint it obviously, I tried British ceiling paint but it had too much sheen and amplified all the imperfections. I recall Solver being the best but found it unavailable. Wattyl and Solver being the same, I decided to try the Wattyl brand, hoping it WAS the same as Solver , To my surprise I can report it IS very much the same, with its brilliant flat finish and camouflages many imperfections , I will use this without a doubt in the future.

Follow-up  · Just a few points to mention during my experience using this Wattyl toned flat ceiling paint, it really was a dream to use, not much spatter from a revolving roller, I used a brush for the coving and that also didnt drip. Living in South Australia we have quite a warm climate, so the paint was touch dry with in 5 minutes, but to actually dry enough to colour merge with the existing paint was a good 2 hours of solid drying time
