Waverley Bathrooms

We had a laundry conversion and 2 bathrooms done by Waverley and lastly we had the guest bathroom/toilet done. What was outstanding is that everything ran like clockwork. We were told who was coming and at what time and they ran felt through the house to the kerb to keep everything tidy. They cleared all the rubbish also. Workmanship was faultless.

Persistent lack of supervision, communication and quality issues made the experience disappointing given the cost of the project. The pre-site inspection was on 23rd October, but the supervisor did not return until 8th November, leaving work largely overseen remotely via photos and phone calls. This required us to closely monitor the project ourselves, which was unexpected for a renovation of this scale. Trades were asked to perform work outside their normal scope. A plumber was asked to grout a shower niche and window, and a tiler was asked to reinstall a toilet but declined due to safety concerns. This left us without a working toilet for four nights, despite being told it would be unavailable for one night, forcing us to arrange alternative accommodation. Communication gaps caused further problems. Grouting left incomplete by the tilers on 12th November was only addressed on 18th November, when we were advised the correct product was unavailable. The plumber eventually completed the grouting, and concerns about the finish required rework by the supervisor. Other quality issues included vanity drawers that clicked and did not roll smoothly, a new ceiling cornice that began to come loose, and another new ceiling cornice that fell off on 21st December. There were also multiple laundry sink errors, which ultimately required us to source the correct sink ourselves. Even the final sink installation was uneven. On 1st December 2025, we raised our concerns with the office and were asked to send a detailed email, which we did. Despite this, we have received no response from senior management, which is disappointing given the scale of the issues raised. Overall, the lack of supervision, unclear communication, repeated quality issues, scheduling failures and limited management follow-up caused significant frustration and inconvenience. We share this review to provide honest feedback for prospective clients and encourage Waverley Bathrooms to improve supervision, communication, quality control and responsiveness.

Excellent Bathroom Renovators – Every aspect from quoting on was professional and high quality. On time, excellent communication, flexible, quality workmanship. "Variations" always a concern but all extra charges were very reasonable. (its nice to publish a positive review occasionally!)

The trades were all professional, friendly and helpful. It all went smoothly and was finished in under 2 weeks. We love our new ensuite. We would definitely recommend them and would use them again for our other bathroom.

used the cheaper company. We felt more comfortable with them too knowing they were a long established company and that although many different tradesmen were going to be needed for our renovation ( including carpenter, plumber, electrician and tiler ) these tradesmen were not subcontracted, but work full time for Waverley Bathrooms. Their website was also very detailed about their history and the usual time frame taken for a renovation such as ours.

We were 100% satisfied with the quality of the job. They kept us advised as to when a particular tradesman would be arriving and they always arrived on the stated days, did their work and cleaned up afterwards. they actually completed the job 2 days sooner than the time indicated on website.

I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is planning a bathroom renovation.

Very happy – This is the second time we have used Waverley Bathrooms in 20 years. Once again we have found them very helpful in helping us design a new ensuite/robes and some other reno's round the home. The results have been amazing. moving internal walls. The speed of the work was really impressive especially considering the size of the scope of works. Although the pace of work was high, we feel that at no time did Waverley compromise on quality. We had two highly experienced carpenters (John & Pedro) with 50+ years of experience between them. They were methodical and ploughed through the work to create the bones. Their plumber Michael also came with many years of experience and did a great job plumbing-in the sub-floor. Next was Waverleys exceptional tiler Patrick. We were extremely impressed with Patricks tiling skills. We came to Waverley after a botched bathroom reno through a sub-contractor builder who claimed he was a tiler. What a mistake using that sub-contractor turned out to be. But we can honestly say that Waverley employs tilers of exceptional high quality and this component of the work is critical for a successful bathroom reno. Finally, there was Paul the electrician who did a great job installing all our new downlights, IXL fan, power-points, heated towel rails, etc. Then Joel finished the plaster work nicely. Ours was a pretty large project that ran for a few weeks, so we got to know everyone by name. Waverley is a family run business with most of its tradies on salary, so they make sure they employ only the best quality workers. We highly recommend Waverley Bathrooms to anyone looking to renovate their bathroom.

A most perfect Laundry – Waverley Bathrooms came recommend to us by a friend. Right from the word go they were helpful and professional. upstairs bathroom and toilet renovated by another company to use throughout. I can compare the work of Waverley Bathrooms to another company therefore recognising the attention to detail of Waverley Bathrooms and consideration of their customer. I opted to include an art glass installation imported from the UK on the wall of my ensuite and it was with some trepidation I agreed to include the installation as part of the works, to the credit of Waverley Bathrooms it was done with a minimum of fuss. the design process and the regular communications we received from the company. When the supervisor said that a tradesperson would attend on a particular day at a particular time, that is exactly what would happen. Their pride in their work is commendable and the supervision of the project was excellent. Once commenced, there was no undue delay in completion of the work, and we were regularly consulted on every detail of the work.

Only only regret is that we did not know of the company when we renovated our kitchen the year before. It would have saved us so much grief. I suspect that the key to the quality of the work is that Waverley bathrooms is a family company with employees of long standing. Their quote was the most competitive of three that we received. In an age of apparent unreliable tradespeople and dubious quality of work, it is refreshing to know that there is at least one company who deliver quality outcomes and affordable prices.
