Upgraded from a Weber Q to this model more like a downgrade from the beginning assembling it I found parts not marrying up and very primitive alignment where joins needed to be forced. Then first use starter issues, Weber were good to post new starter unit without question possibly they knew this to be a design fault. On this subject the gas… Read more
bottle sits on the axle so you can never get a proper reading of how much gas is left on the weigh scale. Weber has obviously done a lot of cost cutting as they have discontinued the grill thermometer. The most annoying thing are the wheels after moving it one metre the split pin falls of as does the plastic wheel cover, I took to it with a hammer tonight. As for heat do not cook on two burners you will have uncooked meats and uneven cooking you have to use all three burners even for small quantities. Overall this is the Jeep of BBQs you are buying a name no longer synonymous with quality. The model is built in China which might explain poor quality control.
No high heat – Cant generate sufficient heat on for 45 mins cant get to sizzle burners to small Show details
A great bbq - heats up quickly - cooks beautifully every time – I did a lot of research before choosing this bbq. Great choice. Heats up quickly, steaks sear well and so tender. Perfect med rare for us! Pork chicken and veggies all cook beautifully. Love the solid plate that comes included with this bbq. Has upturned edges so perfect for stir-fry or sauteed veggies - no losing mushrooms over the edge. Bonus… Read more · 1
is no need to buy anything additional.Cook roasts straight on grill with 2 end burners on and middle one off (indirect method), pizzas on pizza stone straight on grill. Lots of videos by Weber to give you the knowledge to use this bbq to its full potential..(Even smoking!) The Weber brand cover is worth buying - rain sits on top and runs off - bbq stays dry even with the heavy rain we have been having. Love the Spirit 11 e310.
Not lighting after 6 months – No longer lighting after six months. Cross Bar looks like a bad design with tiny holes that have pretty much closed up. BBQ has also started having rust spots on the stainless steel, even though it is covered. It heats well and cooks a great roast, however Weber overall quality seems to have gone down hill over the past few years and this BBQ is an example of that. Show details

Grills very well, grates clean easy, but cleaning the firebox takes forever – Great bbq, food comes out great, grates are easy to clean, firebox which is Aluminium is difficult to clean, the advice to just scrape it, does not result in a clean inside... Used the expensive spray that they provide, but does not get rid of burnt on fat, nearly used half a bottle spraying, waiting, wiping, have used it only 2 times so far, maybe one cannot get it totally clean... Ps, takes a full dsy to assemble... Show details
Awesome BBQ – I've had this for about 3 months now. So happy with it. I replaced my second Baby Q. So glad I went with this one and not another Q. A million times better. Warms up in about 2 minutes (to about 250 -270 C). Cooks steaks etc very quickly and very well. Ive just done a few roasts in the last week, chicken and pork, perfect. Couldn't be… Read more · 1
more happy with this bbq. It took a few hours to put together, but a bit if patience and just following the instructions and you've got a very well built quality bbq.
This BBQ Is Brilliant!!!! – The first thing I noticed about this BBQ was the firebox - it is made of good solid metal (aluminium maybe) but whatever it is made of it holds its temperature perfectly. It is a lot more enclosed than my previous hooded 4 burner bbqs - which were all good, recognized, brands and so the burner flames aren't at all susceptible to being blown… Read more · 1
around when BBQing on a windy day.
I just never, ever, burn anything with this bbq. I have now had it three months and cook on it at least once a week and quite often two tor three times a week.
This BBQ consistently produces the best roast lamb - including those done in our kitchen oven. During the roasting the bbq holds its temperature perfectly. I set the burners at the desired level and the temperature just sits on 230C the whole time. Every other BBQ I have had the temperature would slowly climb and if you didn't check it regularly the roast would start to burn.
The steaks are awesome also. Vegies char nicely and eggs and bacon is a breeze. No more burnt sausages - this BBQ is making me look like a much better cook than I really am :-)
There a some really good videos (YouTube etc) to help you try some new things.
And the gas level indicator, which I originally thought was a bit gimmicky is incredibly accurate - no more running out of gas half way through the family BBQ.
All in all this is a fantastic bbq - I just wish it had been around 30yrs ago.
Cleaning if quite simple and it has any easy to access drip tray. There is a cleaning scrapper for around $10 which is a worthwhile purchase as is a good wire brush - apart from that a quick wipe down of the external surfaces is all it needs.
Love using my Weber grill – I’m quite new to Weber grills but now after having used my Spirit 2 E-310 for a year now, I can seriously recommend this grill to any first time Weber owner-to-be. The T-bones come out perfect with this thing. Veggies can flavoured so well with the flavourizer bars doing their thing. Cleaning the grill is really easy too! Which is a super… Read more · 1
important point!! Grates are easily cleaned with the Weber triangular brush thing and the insides are easily cleaned with the black plastic spatula thing to scrape off charcoal surfaces. Money well spent! A definite crowd pleaser!
Great unit. Super customer service – Cooks everything well, heats up quickly, maintains heat well and even. Makes me a chef! Great cook box, good flavor. Big enough to cook for 8-10 at a time; I can put up to 10 lamb forequarter chops in one go. Quality materials, solid grill; no rust; easy to clean - no sharp edges or difficult to reach areas. The original Weber cover is a must. The… Read more · 1
ignition cable insulation melted in the side burner, but Weber customer service was very helpful, and arranged a complete replacement after looking at photos. It has been prefect since then. Happy customer. My first Weber product. Certainly not the last.
Awesome BBQ – After weeks of research decided on the Spirit 2 320 model. Have used it twice now first time we did 4, T Bone steaks and came out perfect . Next day we did Angus beef burgers and they were amazing. I am so used to standing and watching my food cook, that this close the lid style cooking is very relaxing actually. Just keep an eye on the time for… Read more
when your food is due to flip and your good to go. Weber give guides and cooking temps which makes things so easy. Looking for to doing a pork roast with crackle. I can highly recommended this bbq.
Very impressed with the quality – For a BBQ made in China, Weber have sourced a quality product. It appears to be based on the Genesis design and although the Genesis is made in the USA, the quality is comparable. Cooks great, even the wife commented on that it cooks better than our last BBQ. No cold spots, heats evenly and gets up to temp fairly quick. The side burner is… Read more
handy, however, you can't use a pan bigger than about 24cm. Cleaning is a breeze, I just wipe the grate down with a BBQ wipe after cooking and we are ready to go for next time. Weber is a good brand and have excellent after sales service, at $990 it's a great alternative to the more expensive Genesis series. Accessories are expensive, but then again they are quality and last much longer than the generic gear sold on the web. Gotta go and cook my lunch, see ya.
Webber winner ! – After weeks of reviewing Bbqs I bit the bullet and purchased the spirit E-320. The quality and warrantee that Weber provide were the selling points by far ! Once I cranked her up and watched a few YouTube videos it’s was time to give a rip eye a try. It didn’t take long at all to heat this thing up ( under 10 minutes ) also noting that this was… Read more
on a cold and windy night ! Once I had seared it twice on both sides she was ready ! No complaints ! Easy to clean and ready for next sesh ! Side burner is also of great quality and was another selling point as I like to cook the heavy scenting foods outside . Compact in size and perfect for apartment or townhouse living !
Reluctant to buy,but now glad i did – Let me start by saying i am somewhat of a cheapskate, really didnt want to spend nearly $500.00 on a grill when the big box stores are advertising grills for $149.00,after all heat is heat, they all do that, convinced by wife i made the Weber purchase, grill was preassembled, big plus, first use it fired right up,impressed, heated quickly, again… Read more
impressed, even temp across the grates, hmmm this is pretty good, food cooked quickly and tasted great, even more impressed, easy to clean, not impressed thats my wifes job, grill looks great, impressed friends and family, temp gauge built in,gauge to let u know when propane is low, nice feature, accuracy to be determined, only negative is moving the grill by grabbing the foldable side tray, rather flimsy may not hold up well, but,no worries with the 10 year warranty, after all this i am still a cheapskate, but i am glad i purchased the weber grill,it appears to be money well spent. fellow cheapskates take the weber plunge,u wont be dissatisfied.
Another Quality Weber Product – We owned a Weber Family Q for just over 10 years and truly loved it. Just about a month ago, we decided to replace our FQ and started looking at our options and at no stage did not consider buying any brand other than Weber. When surfing Weber’s home page, premium gas range options took our attention, in particularly Spirit II E-310 due to its… Read more
overall size and sufficient cooking area for our needs. Even we trust the brand so much, we watched quite a few YouTube reviews, I must say I was a little sceptical about Spirit II E-310 but decided to go ahead with it. My oh my, for the first time I am able to sear steak just the way I like with using the direct cooking method. Family Q was great but this is the next level. First trial, the whole family loved the taste of any type of meat we BBQ’ed, including the veggies. Installation is not complicated but quite time consuming, took me just above 2 hours with a slow pace. Overall build quality is great and it has plenty of add-on options. It did preheat very quickly and distributed heat evenly when full or just a few items on it. Gas bottle scale is a nice touch but I am not confident if it is reliable, I guess time will show. The flavorizer bars work like a charm, they create wonderful BBQ smoke and also prevent fat dropping on burners. Since my Spirit II E-310 is almost brand new, haven’t had an opportunity to do a detailed cleaning however in my opinion looks like it will be much easier than our Family Q. So far, we love our new Spirit II E-310 and I would not hesitate recommending. Thank you Weber for another quality product!
