One of our children has long suffered allergies had an overnight change in his health... During his childhood every single night when going to bed he would sneeze and cough for approximately 45 minutes (from dust mites etc) and from the absolute first night of him getting into his new Wenatex bed, new quilt and pillow, he stopped the reactions (sneezing etc) overnight! It was absolutely amazing! We couldn't believe the difference it made! As soon as he goes to a friend's home for a sleepover or we stay in a resort on holiday's, he starts sneezing again...

11 years on, almost empty nesters, we decided to get a new mattress (an upgrade as old one was getting a little hard and warn), my wife shopped around for weeks and week trying all kinds of mattresses, she was a very diligent researcher... She found one we both liked at the time, got it delivered but hated it from the outset as it was way too soft, no support and we were disturbing each other every night... And this was a bed that apparently Royalty choose... Anyway we hated it so much, one of us had to sleep in the guest room... After a month, we ordered another mattress hoping to find a winner! But this one was way to hard... We ended up returning or selling both mattresses online.

4 weeks ago we did what we should have done in the first place... we purchased a new king-size Wenatex mattress for our master bedroom... Absolutely love it and getting great sleep again!... and just today we ordered a queen size mattress for our guest room.

Can't speak highly enough of any Wenatex product!

Really comfortable – The mattress took a few weeks to get used to. Then it was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Where your body touches the mattress does get warm. I like that. a try next time. Perhaps it will help. I didn't buy their pillows as I prefer contoured foam. I didn't buy the herbal system. I sleep fine without "a nice smell". But maybe that might spread the warm out a bit too. We've had the mattress a little over 10 years. Wenatex says you should swap it after 5. They are right. My wife is lighter than me & moves around in her sleep. For her, the bed is still fine. I lie on my side in one spot. So now my hips squash the mattress so I can feel the bed support. I'm not overweight. So I feel we got 8 years from it. And are now considering buying another.

a positive affect and we sleep very good , yes the mattress is durable had it for over 10 years and still looks like new and no sagging . its nice to sleep on .. I was it regular and air it and i also love my Donna and pillows.. For some people it does not matter what they sleep on its just never right.

Best mattress ever – We got this mattress eleven years ago as I was plagued with back problems. It was the best mattress we ever had - I was able to sleep at night. decided to try her mattress and lo and behold - no back pain. She has now returned so I have given her mattress back to her and moved back to the wenatex one and after 2 nights sleeping on it the lower back pain is back. Tomorrow I am going to buy a new mattress but am disgusted to have to do so having paid so much for this one. I will certainly advise anyone I know not to make the same expensive mistake.

I'm looking to buy another bed after Using Wenatex – Both my partner & myself are struggling to sleep and have back and neck pain. I find that I get a better night's sleep on an air mattress. Is there a way to improve the quality of sleep on a wenatex bed as it did cost me a lot of money when I brought just over 6 years ago. Just purchased a new one – My other Wenatex mattress is now 10 years old - purchased 2006. It is still in excellent shape and condition, no wear or tear. I had a new timber bed made and treated myself to a new Wenatex mattress. Very comfortable. Feels a little softer that my original and I am grateful as my older body appreciates this. the luncheon where the bed was demonstrated we (those who responded to the invitation to lunch) were promised a free herbal underlay too be delivered to us halfway through the warranty period. This did not happen. I purchased the bed in January 2014, so the warranty remains extant. I am in negotiation with the company's representative

Ripped Off – I have cancelled my lay-by a month ago and they won't refund the money, won't get back to me, won't answer the phone, AND NOW the phone is dis-connected. How many others has this happened to.

Huge waste of money – I now have neck and back problems after using the Wenatex bed. The pillows are the worst I have ever used, the herbal underlay made me sick (tossed it to tip) and it took ages for the smell to go - such a waste of money!! to be much better at half the price (I saw this at the Canberra show). I recommend to avoid Wenatex beds.

I miss my wife – My wife no longer sleeps in this bed, as she finds the mattress like concrete. I must say ive tried to adjust to it because of the price, but after years of unrest we will be looking for another brand of mattress.

mattress can be causing the problem... I kept using it for 3 months trusting the "wonderful reputation" of the product as i'd been told... Eventually i removed it and put my original 2nd hand 'Peter Farrels 'hip & back' mattress back on . In 3 days the lower back was 75% pain free... after a week 100% pain free... ... After a year passed of it stored & unused, i decided to try the expensive wonder Wenatex again ...Its been on for 3 weeks this time and guess what... The same lower back problem is back again !! Honestly i think its a whole lot of hype & sales talk .Not happy at all..

Excellent product saw immediate benefit – I recently started sleeping on a Wenatex Sleep System and electric base. I have found my sleep since using the system improve immensely. fluid of the feet. With the electric base and the ability to raise my feet, I am able to get relief from the swelling and find that after a nights sleep my feet come down dramatically. I cannot recommend enough the benefits of this product and am very happy with this product.

Wish I'd had this ten years ago – After spending time away from our Wenatex bed- we appreciate it even more than before. We love the whole body relaxation we get when we go to bed now- my wife especially as she suffers from bulging discs and sciatica nerve problems and she has had serious issues sleeping before we got this system- it's nice to have her back in good spirits.

again as I do like the soft, cosy feeling it has, (but also because I had invested so much in it! ). My back started playing up again on the Wenatex mattress. I did the test 3 times and had the same result each time, my back got better with the cheap firm mattress. I gave the very expensive mattress to my healthy 22 year old son. A week later, he was complaining of a back ache for the first time. Can't be positive that was the main cause of his back problem as we haven't tested it several times but there seems to be a correlation here. He's gone back to his old firmer mattress and is fine. The Wenatex mattress now lies in the spare room.

I wonder if Wenatex has given refunds for such cases. I was made to belief at the 'health talk' at the restaurant promoting the Wenatex mattresses, that these mattresses were very good for health and that they helped with all kinds of aches and pains ......My experience has been the opposite.

Another thing about the Wenatex mattress is that they are very hot to sleep in, in the summer. They are more suited for the cold. Pillows also sink in and are not firm enough. Sadly, it was such a big outlay for no real good return.

The only mattress I can now sleep on – or one of the very few - we do a lot of travelling and house-sitting. At home I no longer wake up with back pain. I also used to wake up with sore ankles and shoulders, which my chiropractor says was all due to misalignment of the body. Even my sceptical husband is now very happy with our Wenatex mattress. And it makes changing the sheets so much easier! A great buy a few years ago even if a bit pricey.

Design (foam core) is now on both sides of your mattress. That’s 20 years worth of NO sagging in the middle and better mattress rotation… Value for money if not for your health?

Normally the life of a home mattress is 5 years (Hotels 2-3 years) before we repurchase another; by then it’s certain to be filled with grotesque dust mites, sweat and we generally don’t sanitize/wash our beds or vacuum them etc. Yet with this bed we can now promote better hygiene and a cleaner breathing environment by washing the SilverMed zip cover in hot water as recommended.

Naturally with most Manufacturers they can only give you a 5 year Guarantee; Wenatex is no different… But if you do the sums using 20 years, you’ll see how economical it is buying this bed?

The depth of this mattress is less than conventional beds, although your sheets will fit snug. This mattress also requires a slat bed configuration to be of benefit.

For those with backache this bed is very light weight, however moving it once it's unfolded is extremely clumsy! I suffer degenerative hips and lower back pain.

I also wish to give praise to our lunch time presenters (J & D) as having the best product display and presentation technique I've ever come to hear. The product itself is superior quality and coupled with their excellent presentation it made sales.

Love it! – I have been a Wenatex customer for close to 8 years. I love it. By far the best bed I have ever owned or slept in. And that it's washable makes it even better. Wenatex base, which is awesome and enhances the benefits of the mattress. Waking up with a stiff neck or sore back is a thing of the past that I now only experience when I travel and have to sleep on other mattresses. Quality, washable

to get used to it. Not too happy but my husband liked it. After a while I enjoyed the fact that when I changed the sheets it was a simple process, so light to handle and not nail or back breaking. It has been a few months now and I am ready to wash my doona which I cant wait (a little scared of how it will turn out) but they say it will come out of the washing machine fine.

I will admit now....I am starting to enjoy the benefits of this bedding and my husband is happy I have stopped nagging him about this purchase. My sleep, well I cant really say its better or worse but I reckon the lightweight and cosiness of the bedding is very impressive. Call it a coincidence or not I have not had restless legs for a few weeks now, but time will tell.

Sensational – The system is exceptionally good. After getting the adjustment right I have had the best sleep for 30 years.(Bad back and waking often) I now sleep right through the night with insignificant pain in my back in the morning.
