My sister was visiting from overseas and we stopped in to the lovely Wendy Murray boutique in the Rocks. The designer, Wendy Murray, was very helpful, but a bit pushy. She kept telling us about the high quality of her products, and that they are Australian made and as a result, pretty expensive. The purse that my sister pruchased came with a strap but there was another strap on display that Wendy had trouble pricing. We should have walked away then, but she was sort of pressuring us saying that she had an important appointment at the hospital. In retrospect, I can't beleive we fell for it.

Not knowing the price of the strap, my sister went ahead and purchased it along with the purse. The strap was $250. The first time she wore it, it broke - not exactly the high quality that Wendy had been telling us about.

We have tried to reach out to Wendy via email and Instagram DM but there has been no response. I feel like we were taken advantage of as tourists so I wonder how many other people have experienced Wendy's customer service?

It was very disappointing to see this product review , Expecially when we had really taken care of the customer . At the time of puchase we gave her a $ 200 discount . We resonded 18 times to the communiction , 10 of our replies were on a very busy saturday trade . And the messaging was from some one who had not purchased , therefore confusing We shipped 4 replacements to Texas $ 80 shipping cost . All of our items are clearly price tagged . We never discount . However we helped this customer with a discount at the time of her purchase I can provide all of the communcation and the shipping receipt with the tracking no After the 4 replacments were sent to USA .I was in hospital and had to carry on the communication , which was really upsetting . It felt like I was being bullied Please note this site is unusual . I had to sign up provide my credit card and pay to respond To this review which is really stressfull I work very hard and have a succesful business that provides a high end quality product . It is disturbing to experience this especailly when the information is not correct

To clarify, the straps were not marked so we can only assume that a discount was given. Correspondence was not attended to promptly and to make matters worse, all of the replacement hardware sent to Texas has since broken. My sister has given up but may pursue a refund through her bank. Needless to say, we won't be returning to Wendy Murray.
