Fridge delivered from warehouse in packaged box as per most appliances these days so unseen by actual sales staff/point of sale. did not have model on display. After unpacking by delivery staff and usual advice not to connect and powerup for at least 2 hrs to allow gas connection, they left swiftly as you would expect. I then had time to read manual and inspect. First found scratches down edge of Fridge door(not caused by delivery, obvious there when packaged by supplier)( Sales point offered and refunded $100 for the scratches). Then noticed freezer and normal cold storage doors were not aligned, didn't affect closing but visually obvious. Then went to plug power cord into power socket only to find cord too short, despite socket being directly behind fridge and no problem for 40yr old fridge it was replacing. Manual said to plug directly into socket and not use power board, but had no choice due to short cord. Fridge was required urgently so did not have the option of asking for replacement. Is in operation now, working fine but with problems outlined and obvious quality standard issues, am hoping for reasonable lifespan but not recommending Westinghouse to family and friends.

 Follow-up  · Installation, move some Styrofoam padding from interior trays etc, wait couple of hours for gas to settle, plug in and switch on(after using a power board to enable power cord to reach power point). Doors seem to seal although one top corner of fridge compartment seal is compressed about 2.5mm more than rest and freezer door seal. This is why door alignment between top freezer and bottom door normal cooling is about 2.5mm different, whilst not seeming to affect sealing at this point, as it ages can see sealing issues. Cord is 160cm long, fridge height is 166cm. the same as power point. Cord extends from base of fridge, hence too short to reach power point. The cord of power board is over 2m long. Seems quality control doesn't exist at this manufacturing plant.
