Westinghouse 250L Top Mount WTB2500 Series

This is great fridge – The first review talks about kelvinator fridge but this review is for westinghouse.We have had it for 3 years now the fridge is great and uses minimal electricity.The only issue I have had is the water dripping from inside I guess we need to defrost it.

A sad story – In November 2021 the internal light went out in my Kelvinator fridge. I did some searching to see how I could get it replaced and realised a day or so later that inside the fridge wasn’t cold and thought oh no, it had died. I was lucky I could transfer some frozen food to my sisters fridge to save some. It took me nearly a week to arrange to get a new fridge from E & S Trading (who were very helpful over the phone) and having very limited space the options were few. Delivery guys were efficient, one quickly whisked my old fridge away and guy no. 2 nudged the new fridge into place, flicked the power on, no reaction. Hmmm .... he had the nous to try a different power point nearby and yay it booted up fine. So after he left I had to get my electrician to check that dud power point and fix it. Well it took me a while to realise that hells bells I think I may have let go a perfectly good fridge just because I didn’t think quick enough! Yeah, I felt a bit sick then coz this new fridge is very hard for me to open with arthritic wrists the suction seems very firm. Did the guy who installed the fridge realise what had happened? Maybe!

the fridge capacity is 245L, not 250 as above.

Rubbish- You get what you pay for – Cracking shelves, noisy, freezes salad near the back, uses lots of power. This fridge does the job but if you can spare a few extra dollars you can find a much better option.
