I love everything about this fridge ... except the noise it makes. It's not just the loud hum, but a squealy noise every now and then as well. I more than likely wouldn't buy another the same.
Fridge was well priced but major issue with shelves. I have no kids in house only myself and hubby. We are careful with fridge but for some reason the door shelves keep breaking. I replaced one four weeks ago. Then this morning out of nowhere the drinks shelf is cracked. It can’t even hold up a 2litre milk. I’ve had to repurchase shelves as no one believes me they just broke.

Never again – Westinghouse (WBE4302WC)Fridge kept freezing over, had the technician out 3 times to replace parts and still not fixed. Not anything like the Westinghouse make I can remember. Have contacted them and as yet nothing has been done. The local techie was great to deal with.

Ticks All the boxes – We kissed our still operational heavily used 15 year old Westinghouse goodbye. The seals needed changing, the fridge doors were heavily marked, and a door raiser plastic part had worn out. The fridge was amazing and made me a WESTINGHOUSE addict! Our new baby, the WBE4302WC-R No internal metal draw runners and parts to go rusty. Height… Read more

Freezer Drawers constantly fall off rails and get stuck – Purchased this fridge on 26/2/2023. Immediately we began having trouble with the freezer drawers falling off the side rails. In my opinion the drawer width is to narrow - a manufacturing error. I contacted the service department for my area on 3/4/2023. They advised they would order parts and replace however there are no parts in Australia and are… Read more
on back order expected to be received on 19/5/23. Its now 23/5/23 and still waiting for the parts and repair. I don't know what parts they are replacing. Had I known about this problem which I now see is common I would not have bought this brand. Our last Westinghouse fridge lasted 25 years which is why I bought this one however am not confident Thailand manufacturing is up to scratch. The fridge itself works as it should it is just the freezer drawers that are a problem. My recommendation is don't buy this fridge until Westinghouse correct this manufacturing fault.

Do not buy this fridge – My elderly mother purchased this fridge on the 1st June 2022 and within a week she was having issues, however she attributed it to a new Fridge and perhaps she didn’t have the correct settings. I adjusted it for her, as per the manual, however the issues still occurred, and she lodged a service request with Westinghouse/Electrolux. On the 21st… Read more
June 2022 she had the first service call and the service man, “fixed” the issue and said it would be ok moving forward. This in fact did not fix the issue and consistently had the same issues with the fridge. The food in her fridge section was going mouldy, freezing and going off. Mum had a further service call (1/9/22) and the service person ordered a replacement part and then came back on 8/9/2022 and replaced the part on the fridge. For a few weeks the fridge worked well, then the issues occurred again – with food going off and throwing it out. Late November mum was finally advised that she would get a replacement Fridge. Mum took delivery of the 2nd fridge on 3rd January 2023 and within a week it is faulty, a service man came out on the 9th Jan and he has advised this fridge needs replacing too & has the same manufacturing issue as the first one. Since June 2022 my mum has been throwing out my refrigerated food weekly – which has been approx. $50 per week (including meat, dairy, and vegetables). I have helped mum to contact Westinghouse about this and they sent us a claim form. I provided full receipts and bank statements proving the cost of food and purchases which equated to approx. $1500 - they have declined this and offered mum $700 in compensation. Although I provided proof of purchases as requested by them. They have stated they normally only cover up to $450 & that they don’t normally cover fridge products - which I think is absolutely deplorable.
DO NOT buy this fridge and do not expect their customer service to show any form of care for their customers. They don’t care & my poor mum is still without a functioning fridge 7 months on and they think it is acceptable that mum buys food daily & that she has no where to safely store it. Unfortunately as the company are still refusing to pay my mother adequate compensation (even after producing receipts) we have lodge a VCAT application today, as this is completely disgusting. Especially when as a business they made a profit of $13.8 billion dollars last year & they can’t even compensate and elderly lady who hasn’t had a functioning fridge for 7 months.

Poor Quality Bottom Freezer Drawer Rails – Soon after I purchased my refrigerator, I noticed that the two large freezer drawers were not sitting in the rails. They kept falling to the point where one of them cracked. The drawers were difficult to open and close. Electrolux sent me a replacement drawer, although it was broken in transit so I had to exchange it with one on display at Bing… Read more
Lee. Initially Electrolux told me that the plastic in the drawers was shrinking. After several months of going back and forth, and a failed repair, I finally got in touch with a technical representative, and they confirmed that the plastic rails, for the drawers which are fixed to the main refrigerator compartment were made 2mm out of spec in the Thailand factory, hence why the drawers kept falling off the rails. Electrolux were offering to provide me with a refund for the purchase of the refrigerator. I did not want the inconvenience of replacing the fridge in its entirety and just wanted it repaired. We finally got there in the end! Moral of the story is that the quality of refrigerators made overseas are inferior to the refrigerators previously made in Australia. My previous Australian made Electrolux fridge lasted 14 years.
