I was told to sit home from 7 am until 6 pm and await a technician. No one showed up. I must note that the service call centre is in the Philippines and language at times is very difficult. The gas leak continued and I had a further five service calls of which one I was charged an extra $80 which I reluctantly paid in the interest of safety. Electrolux where totally unable to fix the gas leak which was emanating slightly from one of the burners when it turned off. Electrolux service refused to give an approximate time for the service calls and insist that you sit and wait from 7 am until 6 pm which means time off work, they don’t care!!!!!!!!!! and a two week wait for the next available service tech to call. Did I say gas leak !!!!!!!! With the inability of electrolux/ westinghouse repair the appliance, I had to take Matters into my own hands and the gas cooktop was removed. I purchased another cooktop and had that installed again at extra cost. Suffice to say this cooktop has cost many thousands of dollars in plumbing work, replacement and time sat waiting off work. If you are considering a cooktop do not in a million years consider Westinghouse they are dangerous and offer poor or no aftercare even with a dangerous gas leak. I returned the the appliance to the retailer , Bargin home appliances in Braeside Vic and asked the rep to contact me to discuss . after 3 weeks no reply Shame on you guys !!!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS COOKTOP!!!! – Purchased this Cooktop (along with other Westinghouse appliances to the value of $4000) to put in our newly renovated kitchen. would avoid buying this product. We have an amazing new kitchen and our Cooktop looks TERRIBLE!!! DONT DO IT!!!

Regretful purchase – I got this because I wanted it to match my new Westinghouse oven (which I love btw) and I hate it. I regret getting rid of my old one. I CANNOT cook on it, it is too hot and everything burns. Even simmering a huge pot of bolognese on the smallest burner, lid off and flame as low as possible, it burns it. anyway because it is so narrow so is very close to backsplash. It is also COVERED in surface rust spots all over. If you try and remove them with basically anything, it scratches the stainless. Must be the thinnest, cheapest stainless you can get. Very disappointing, won’t go with WH again

Mixed review – Looks great, operates without fault however poor clearance at large back right burner - unable to use without pots touching tiles at rear. Partially the fault of our stonemason and partially poor design from Westinghouse. Should be 3 burner with medium burner at front right.
