Westinghouse WSF6608 Series Questions & Answers

The top spray arm is not rotating. There is water coming out of the holes, and I have removed the arm and cleaned all the holes including the ones on the underside of the arm. If I set the machine to just use the upper spray arm, it rotates ok. When I first removed the upper arm, I did find a small piece of "glad wrap" like plastic in the connector between the arm and the housing. It may have been a wrap from the tablet (which is supposed to disolve but might not have). If there's more plastic material in the water passage, how do I clean it?
Our dishwasher is out of warranty, the dark finish has peeled in two spots, is there a paint I can use to cover them?
We can't get our wsf6608xa dish washer to start. We have gone through all the suggestions in the manual but still no luck. I was not familiar with it and tried to start it. pressed buttons (unknown). Now we have a H24 code and if we press the stop pause button code CL appears. Tim 0431628341
H24 means you set the 24 hour delay. To remove it unplug the the power cord from powerpoint. Wait about 3-5 minutes plug it back in power on press and hold the start button start button about 10 seconds so it resets. If you just want to change delay time you reset it by pressing start/pause and the press + & - buttons to select delay time, then press start/pause to activate. If still does not work maybe childlock is on to remove it press + & - buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds Cl will blink once.
My dishwasher is only 12 months old and the paint work is chipping on the top of the door, is there anyway this can be fixed please. Susanne K Tasmania

My Westinghouse WSF6608 programme button is stuck on ECO snd I am unable to change the programme. The dishwasher runs ok. I have tried unplugging etc but not work. Any tips please?
Try turning off via off/on machine button no 1. If that does not work press start pause button for 3 seconds. Check child lock is not on to turn it off or on you hold the options select button 3 seconds. Maybe you have saved it as favourite program to cancel it press start pause button 3 seconds. To select favourite program press program button 3 seconds to select favourite program. To save favourite program use program button to select the one you want, use options button & select button to save options , press program & delay buttons togeather to save that program. To start wash after selecting program and options just press start button no 7. If this doesn’t help I would give Westinghouse or Electrolux a call to see if they can work it out. Hope it works.
Our dishwasher door doesn't seem to shut properly anymore, no leak in the washing process, but steam comes out in the drying process, should there be an audible click when I shut the door?

Cleaned all filters but rinses n then flashes f5, water at tap is fine
I can't put dishes because the water spray arm is too low and touch dishes. How can I adjust the spray arm height?
How do I change the water inlet hose with solenoid
Put the dishwasher in its side, unscrew the black plastic base, inside you will see a clip to unclip the hose and a power connector which is also unplugged, then remove the old hose and install the new. Make sure the new hose and clip are installed correctly or water will leak.
Just installed a Westinghouse wsf6608x. It wont drain, keeps stopping, flashes F2 error, the water is cold, and now every single error on display flashes non stop. I may have a lemon here?

The paint is chipping of of the the top of dishwasher after only 6 months. Does anyone know if there is a touch up paint available for this model. Dark stainless Steel. TIA.
It will be covered under warranty, the techs come out and replace the panel for free and so they should, it’s not very high quality. I have 40yr old dishwasher with less chips on panel.

My ceiling spray impeller has just fallen off. I cant work out how to get it back on. Is this fixable or is it not going to work properly now

The upper spray arm has just fallen off the channel feed upper arm. Is it a matter of clipping back in or is there a piece that needs to secure it to the channel
You probably have worked this out by now, but yes it just clips back together.
How do we clip it back it doesn’t stay- are there any instructions to on this
I also can't clip my upper spray arm back on again. Please advise
Probably too late but there is a nut that holds the upper spary arm into the housing, and the nut is part of the spray arm. To loosen, you turn it to the left, and the arm drops out. To install the arm, lift it into the housing and turn the nut to the right until it clicks ib position. It turns about a quarter turn from tight to loose.
Hello, we purchased this dishwasher a few months ago after we renovated our kitchen. I usually just use the daily cycle. Happy with the dishwasher itself. I'm unsure if what is happy though. When it's drying. All the condensation goes underneath the bench top and all in the cabinetry. It creates condensation on the cutlery etc. What can I do to fix this? Thanks
We have been just quoted $350 + GST to get this repaired. It was six years old on 20 August 2021. The fault was f5. We had delivered this to the repairer and will need to pick it up again (50 mins away by car). Is it worth getting fixed considering the age of this dishwasher and how long do they usually last for?
Hi Patricia, You are right in the middle of costs. $350 to repair or somewhere around $700-$900 for a new one. It just depends if you like your old dishwasher and whether you will get another 5+ years. E&S have the WESTINGHOUSE WSF6602XA on sale for $599 if you want another Westinghouse. Can you please advise on how to remove error code F1 from the machine and what does it actually mean? According to the User manual F1 'Alarm is active against water overflow'. The advice is to turn power off and close the tap. We have tried this and nothing has happened?
Sorry, I've never had this issue, I think you will need to call Westinghouse or a repairer.
Water flood activation valve try tilting on side for 10 minutes. Try again. If it does it again sump seal might be leaking
just purchased a Westinghouse 6608…all connected and switched on but just humming and now water intake…tap open water pressure good power on and drain connected…not sure why the water not going through to machine…hose seems empty
Hi. My dishwasher is brand new and whilst attempting to connect the water supply , The red plastic nut on the inlet hose has become cross threaded and it now leaks a lot. Is my only option replacing the whole inlet hose and is this something I can do myself ? Thanks for any help Tony

I purchase the WSF6608X two years ago and never installed it. Recently I got a licensed plumber to install it and the first three washes worked perfectly as I was using quick wash. However, with long washes such as Heavy or Eco, the machine starts ok but keeps turning on and off, sometimes with long intervals. All lights will flicker and sometimes I have to push the on/off button again to continue. This is a new machine in terms of usage. Is there a fault in the sensors, Anti flood valve, or something else?
