Not what I expected, the taste – Dark Salted Caramel-...paid $6 at Woolworths,yes $6.00, 250gms ,the most expensive bar of chocolate there !! Thought I would give it a try even if I couldn’t really afford it Verdict, wasnt sweet enough and tasteless Caramel , yes maybe more sugar ? The Caramel had no taste unfortunately unlike other Chocolate brands. Dark chocolate block which I wasnt keen on , sorry to be a Party Pooper to this NZ Company Whittakers who I must say have been going since 1896 and are very successful particularly in New Zealand where their manufacturing Plant is and good on them.
Im sure they must please some palates, just not mine unfortunately and at $6 a block I will wont be rushing to try it again soon.

Delicious! – Ignore the other review, this chocolate is delicious! Yes it is dark chocolate and is not super sweet like a lot of other rubbish, but the rich dark caramel and dark chocolate are an awesome combination. Definitely worth a try if you can find it in a shop as its delicious Delicious taste, Not super sweet Can't get it in Australia
Terrible – will not be buying whittakers chocolate again. it is awful. i was so disappointed. the caramel centre doesn't even look or taste like caramel. it was more like dribble. tried to share it around but no one was impressed with it. i ended up throwing it in the bin. wasted my money. the idea of caramel covered in dark chocolate it tasted terrible
