Awful, go anywhere else – Whybirds delivered our furniture 2 and a half weeks late for an interstate move. Refused to answer the phone or explain delays or take accountability. Multiple calls have gone unanswered and emails are ignored. To top it off the stickers they use are the worst you could possibly buy.

anger, disgust at the loss of a precious artwork of our first born. And I have only now 4 months later come to write a review after looking through old phone pics and realising we also have metal artwork missing!!! And one of them is custom made. Also, one of the “packers” thought it would be funny to wrap his empty ice coffee carton in paper and pack this along with ours goods?!? Complete disregard and they really don’t want to try and resolve anything. It all has to go through a third party who has nothing to do with the actual packing done on the day. I called to get them to check directly, they won’t deal with you even though it was only 7 days later when it may have been able to be resolved…just completely appalled that they could “lose” a large personal baby portrait framework then direct me to an insurance company to make a claim when all I want, is the priceless portrait!! Not even interstate!

Not happy with the service – Unfortunately we had a really bad experience. Three women were contracted to pack our unit and they were the most unprofessional ladies. They complained from the time they stepped into the unit, throughout their two smoke breaks and as they were leaving, for the whole two hours they were at the place. freaken stuff!', which was said continuely throught the two hour period. Well I'm sorry this is our whole life in a two bedroom unit, show a bit of respect. It may not mean anything to you, but it does to us. As to packing things nicely, it was like they were forced to do a chore and were rough with the packing. They bullied my boyfriend and tried to make him do things such as pack things that he wasn't meant to and gave him instructions with no manners and treated him badly, to the point he was so stressed out he ended up calling me to come home from work. Really not happy, this will never be our first choice or our last. would no recommend to friends or family. Nobody should go through that treatment. 2 bedroom unit, with clothes, shoes, books already packed.

They stole from me – I had two consecutive uplifts from Darwin to Adelaide. On the second load they almost forgot my carbon fibre paddle for my paddle board. where it was the Adelaide mob said they emptied the truck. The Darwin branch of Whybirds said it was not in the warehouse. Obviously someone saw that it didn't have a sticker on it and stole it. Not worth claiming on insurance ($250 excess and that is all the paddle is worth). Thanks Whybirds. Cheap and nasty.

Well done – Bloody marvellous crew 4 bedroom house moved out of old and into new in one day with an hours travel in between. All done in time on an extremely warm humid day. Courteous,professional and personable crew.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would – Small overseas move. Engaged this removalist based on a promise that delivery would be within 6 months. Over a year later (13 months), items still not delivered. I understand that it was a small load. I understand that it needed to share space with another container. months before getting on a boat when management could manage to send themselves on a junket to the US right about when I should have been expecting delivery of my items (ironically to the same country). Lack of communication rife, had to contact the parent company Karaco Group twice due to emails not being responded to (1st occasion over a week, 2nd occasion close to a week). Communication for the most part had to be initiated by me. To complete delivery, had to pay and extra US$250 fee to the delivery company since they would not be able to safely get an 18 wheeler truck up and down the driveway. Disgusted and angered by the lack of assistance and excuses from Whybirds.

Look elsewhere – Moved Interstate from Brisbane to Perth. Removalists almost managed to flood our apartment in Brisbane by not knowing how to remove a washing machine hose (I had to explain to turn it off over the phone on my mine site). Specifically payed extra for full insurance and a removalist who were not the cheapest however it proved pointless. After a month of getting nowhere with insurance post move we have ended up just coping that damage on the chin and replacing ourselves.

[name removed] and [name removed] were actually really good to deal with before the move however the move itself was awful and follow up not what we expected for paying a premium on insurance. Look elsewhere people.

Professional and took the time to care! – Whybirds Removals recently moved items for my Mother from her unit to a nursing home. It was a very emotional time for her and the family. The office staff showed patience with me as the items on the inventory kept changing. The crew were professional and on time which assisted the rest of the day to go smoothly. Would recommend their service.

Fantastic – Whybirds moved about 10 cubic meters of furniture from Queensland to Western Australia. From the first phone call until its arrival it was professionally executed with no damage or problems. Thank you

time, packed everything promptly and well. The goods were delivered from storage within a couple days of my call. They made a special trip for it despite it being a small load. They kept us informed of their ETA which they met again very promptly. The removalists were friendly and courteous and even wiped their feet every time they went in and out and helped place everything in just the right spot. Nothing was missing or damaged. said other companies said 4-6 weeks for delivery she said "No we have the containers and boats going all the time so will not be that long". So we thought we would give them a chance. Worst decision ever, do not know how they sleep at night. Well it took 3 months to actually leave Brisbane and then another few weeks to get the items delivered to us at our new address in New Zealand. Then we find 4 items broken and they denied our insurance claim. Bloody worst company ever do not use. They will say anything to get the sale. They then wanted us to pay another $550 to get it to go to a different port.. Please if you want a stress free move pay the extra $400-$600 and go with another company.

Excellent job – We used Whybirds to move from Mackay to Caloundra. They arrived on time at both ends of the move. All the employees were professional, friendly and polite. Find another company.!! – As with so many removal companies the people who do the work such as the packers are first rate but the back office and management are terrible. containers to be delivered to our new US address on 16th February 2015 and yet as of today the containers in question have still not arrived in the USA. In other words delivery will certainly be at least one month late and we have had to rent some furniture here whilst we wait. Every excuse possible has been provided but honestly they do not seem to care and no redundancy was built in to their shipping schedule which demonstrates a lack of competence and experience.!! Additionally they switched the US agents to clear / deliver our goods here at the last minute without giving us any notice whatsoever. No financial compensation has been offered and this posting will hopefully avoid other customers making the same mistake as we did.

Never use them!!! – Just recently moved from Brisbane to Melbourne using this company unfortunately some one didn't secure the load in side the packing container properly..... End result $12000 worth of items damaged or completely destroyed!!! My out door table I just bought looks like a pretzel my new BBQ destroyed my tv dosent work the list goes on and on Thanks guys super effort on that one not!.
