Service above and beyond – I have been a customer of Winebox Warehouse for over ten years. For the most part, wines match the description. The two instances where this was not so, I returned the 11/12 of a carton and got a freight free, full refund for 12/12. The only thing I would say is that the quality of their home branded series of wines declined to a stage where I no longer supported them more than five years ago. That aside, I have always been able to source some excellent reds at very reasonable prices. A plea to all winemakers would be to offer more 1/2 and 1/4 bottles for sale. When wine tastes differ between couples, it would be great if more smalle sized options were on the market.

Fast, efficient and quite cheap too! – Super Quick, excellent price! Ordered on Friday, delivered to Perth on Tuesday! Their website & booking engine is a bit clunky but it still works.

White Wine delivered hot? – I just had a 6 pack of $30 per bottle wine delivered - the box was hot and each bottle was hot as we unpacked it (immediately after delivered). Fastway Couriers who delivered it are not answering their phone (rang back within 10 mins to listed courier). This is not the way to deliver wines! I’m trying one tonight and contacting the company tomorrow if it’s not as per the original I tried.

Bad Customer Service – The WineBox warehouse staff it seems missed customer courtesy 101, and the minute anything goes wrong then it shows. There are many wine providers out there who have a different customer ethic. I suggest you try one of them.

You CAN get great quality, good prices and excellent service from an online wine supplier! – We saw an ad for this company a couple of years ago and thought we'd give them a try. It's now the only place we buy wine. All of their wine is rated and their prices are typically one third to half of what you'd pay for the same wine in a retail shop. From time to time there are outstanding specials on wine that's reached its 'drink now' limit and needs to be cleared; we bought three cases of an exceptional 1998 Merlot that was selling in the shops for $45 at $8 each as a 'clean skin' but still with their branded corks intact . One bottle in each dozen had turned but we didn't care a bit! What a bargain!

We've had great success using their rating system and have 'discovered' some exceptional reds. We love it when our wine snob friends come to dinner and rave about something we paid $10 for!

We've previously had unhappy experiences with mail order and online wine suppliers, including mixed to poor quality, delays in delivery and overpriced products. You wont find any of these at Winebox Warehouse. We're outside the Sydney area and still get deliveries within three days of ordering. We often check the prices against other sites and stores just to be sure we're getting a bargain and we've never found anything they sell for a cheaper price.

Highly recommended. Great quality wine at an excellent price, backed by outstanding service.
