Wonderland RV Adventus

Fantastic – Highly recommend!!! We had big expectations, and the guys at wonderland went above and beyond to ensure they were met. They have great family designs and their attention to detail outweighs the other company’s we had looked at. Customer service has been amazing and certainly guy does not end after picking up your van, we have had many questions as first time caravaners and also added things after using it a few times, they have been more then accommodating. We Love Our Wonderland – After months and months of spending weekend after weekend, driving around to numerous caravan dealerships, and factories, we could not find a caravan that we were 100% happy with … but alas, as fate would have it, we finally came across Wonderland RV's - a recommendation from a member of a Facebook group that we belong to. After some research, we came to the realisation that there just so happened to be no Wonderland dealerships here in Victoria – not one! So we decided to head straight to the source. The factory! Before we knew it, we were on the road to see what the Wonderland van was like, and wow! Just WOW!

Hubby, being a builder, was extremely impressed when he first laid eyes on a Wonderland Caravan. From the design, engineering and technique they used for the framework, to the finishes inside, he loved it all and couldn’t fault the build of this van, from top to bottom, front to back, side to side, and inside or out! I myself was ecstatic, as we had finally found a van that the main man was happy with, and one that I fallen head over heels in love with.

We didn’t need any time to consider if this was the right van for us, the feeling was right, and we just knew there and then that it would make the perfect fit behind our car and into our life. It was perfect!

We re-visited the factory the following week to discuss a few things and see if Wonderland would be able to build our dream home away from home (on wheels).

We met with the owners, Kevin and Ana, who are great. They sat us down and went through what we liked and disliked of their standard models, and helped us realise the ‘essentials that we needed, plus those not so essential, but still damn important, creature comforts. It was incredible to sit down with some experts in the industry and design, to design a van solely to our desires, and 100% for us.

One thing we knew for sure was that going off grid was a necessity. Like a lot of travellers now, we don’t always end up at powered camp sites, so the 300 watt solar power system was a must have, and holy moly, does it do the trick!! Kevin recommended we get a compressor fridge rather than a three-way fridge, which I must admit we were a bit sceptical about, (having always had three-way fridges), however the compressor fridge is brilliant. No more fighting to get the gas fridge ignited – bonus – and no more frozen vegetables and salads, that weren’t supposed to be frozen! Yay!

As avid Four Wheel Drive enthusiasts, Hubby and I wanted a total off road setup, and boy did we get it. We got the exact suspension that we wanted, tyre size, the chassis size, the tow hitch – you name it – if we asked for it, Kevin sorted it out and built everything to match our specs and desires. Now that’s true custom building! That was on the outside of course, hubby got what he wanted and the inside was all mine !.

We started off simple, all a girl could ask for was some pelmets in the bedroom area, some padding and pockets around the bed end, a front window, frosted glass in the shower, enamel hand basin, matt laminate, and so many other things, the list was long, but it didn’t matter. When it comes to décor, I am hopeless, but under the patient care of Ana who sat down with me working out what I would like and what she thought looked nice, we came up with something gorgeous and I absolutely love the outcome.

Even when it came down to the Wonderland decals on the outside, usually the silver van has black or blue decals, however yours truly wanted them to be red, so the question was asked, and believe it or not they came back to us with yet another ‘Yes’! It was astonishing the way they looked after us and catered to pretty much every little item we wanted. Kevin and Ana made everything possible - nothing went into the too hard basket for them, anything was possible!

The Wonderland Caravan comes with the option of a wired up rear camera, however Kevin knowing that we had two tow vehicles suggested a wireless setup that he had heard about, so that we could connect it to our phone or iPad and have vision directly behind the van when towing with either car. Unfortunately we couldn’t get this to work, the connection wasn’t working, but after one phone call to Ana to have a chat, we had Kevin and Rob come out to our home – and I should mention they came on a Sunday – and they replaced the faulty item without a fuss. It’s service that is unheard of.

Our experience with our Wonderland has been amazing. We haven’t had one issue apart from the faulty camera, which was not their fault and fixed straight away. Kevin, Rob and Ana have been absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend them and their company to anyone who’s looking for a new van. From start to finish, they are there to make you happy.
