never happened, even by the time we moved out in late May.

Communication with Maria was EXTREMELY stressful and often felt CONFRONTATIONAL. Upon exiting, she unjustly deducted $1000 from our bond, which we believe is unwarranted. Now, we are forced to engage with VCAT unnecessarily to resolve this issue.

If you are considering renting through this company, I URGE you to exercise EXTREME CAUTION based on our experience.

Would not recommend – Very poor. No brochures available during open for inspection until we complained. Paid for street sign, the only one that appeared, again, until we complained was upcoming/forthcoming auction. We had to follow up. 30 years of great service from Woodards – Woodards has managed our property for 30 years. In our experience, the property managers such as Anthony Wren have always been exemplary. Always pleasant to deal with, professional and responsive to the needs of the owner and tenants. Many thanks for the positive experience. Highly recommended.

Keep your distance - rental properties – I have had endless problems with the Woodards rental team at Camberwell - I would steer clear of them and find an agent that has the capability to look after your asset. And looking at the other recent reviews it seems it is not an isolated case.

Started well ended badly – My experience with Woodards has been very mixed. Intially when Woodards took over from Landsfield... missed in inspection reports such as cleaning of the roof gutters and blocked downpipes, which was paid for a year ago and appears not to have been completed by maintenance people ,significant flooding under the house which was never itemised in the final property inspection report, cracks in a vanity basin which has now been replaced. Would I recommend this company for a property management. Unfortunately not.

If I could give 0 stars, I would – There really are no words to describe how poor this branch is. If you are a landlord, do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere. Failed to meet any reasonable standard of a competent rental agency.

Amazing customer service – I stayed in hawthorn during the on and off lockdown period of 2021 and wow. Charlotte my agent from Woodards was a superstar! If you’re renting in hawthorn or camberwell areas, ask for Charlotte to sort you out. 10/10 service and thank you for all your help!

Apartment vacant for 6 months – Apartment was vacant for 6 months, despite making 2 concessions on rent. Inspections attendance was bad. Keep on saying that the market was flooded by vacant properties (which was not wrong) but nothing substantial to turn around the situation. After 6 months, finally find another agent and it was done in 2 weeks!
