Still trying to cancel this card – Still cannot cancel card on line even though balance has been paid in full 4 or 5 days ago. Have tried about 8 to 10 times over a few days to cancel them after balance was $0.00. Still no reply from Woolworths credit card people. They have even sent me a new statement today with a $0.00 balance so I just tried again to cancel these two cards.… Read more

Still won't let me cancel the cards even though nothing has been purchased on them since the 11th April. Two calls to their overseas call center have taken over an hour of my time and still I cannot cancel these two cards. Why would I accept a new card from this provider?

does not protect you against fraud - don't use it – I have been using woolworths credit card for years. Recently there were 4 x fraudulent transactions made on the card on the same day that were clearly online crimes. be off the balance. eventually they came back to me and said that I must pay for that $5000 fraudulent transactions. Extremely disheartening, unfriendly service. does not protect you against frauds and when this happens they will the one who turn against you and put everything onto you. I will be closing the card and never use them again once the dispute is solved. My relative had similar frauds and his card company straight away removed the amount from his balance and said they would sort it out, nothing for him to ever worry about, issue solved. Clearly Woolworths is not one of those responsible companies who protect customers. Be careful. I would not recommend it

Don't recommend this card for security reasons! – My credit card was used in Hong Gong and it wasn't used by me! $2,100 was spent and I haven't been able to get any of the fraudulent expenditure back. Very disappointed with the treatment from Macquarie Bank who service the woolies credit cards.

2 Months and counting – Made the application mid March 2022, and after more than 2 months, still waiting. Got a call this afternoon, they want me to re-apply for the 3rd time. What a joke. Merchants can still charge your card even when the credit card has been cancelled – This has so many commercial and legal issues if a merchant can still charge my cancelled credit card even after it has been cancelled. I clarified that if my credit card has been cancelled and closed, the sale should bounce back if a merchant charges me - they came back and said that I will get a mail of my charges on my cancelled account??????? makes so sense. Most rude staff ever. They blame the card holder for any fraud transaction on your card. Better to go with big banks – Rudest staff i ever encountered. Victim blaming for any fraud transactions. They should've stopped the transaction happening at first place. Safe to go with big banks. Moved to another provider and never had any problem since then.

Expensive and poor service from Philippines on line call centre – I have had this card for several years and have used it extensively for purchases & travel. The Platinum Qantas Points have been somewhat good although capped so that if you spend over 2K you do not receive points. Insurance i did not use as I could not get trust in the product. bonus shop. but it still did not justify the $169 per annum fee. I did query the fee at services in the Philippines but this was bluntly addressed as "this is the fee, pay it or cancel" so I did. A letter was sent to Woolworths cards a few weeks ago with just now an apology from Macquarie Bank. No more card, no fees, no worries as there are so many other cards available offering much better service that Woolworths Money.

Falling behind technology – I have had this card for several years now. Great points benefits for me as we do all our groceries with Woolworths. I have couple of gripes with this this card. I can't do future payment (bpay) and it seems to be supported with apple pay only. I use an android phone. Woolworths, it's 2020 - please advance with the technology.

usage I had experienced for more than 5 years - despite me having never missed a payment in 5 years. Their rewards plan was very poor, but I have noticed an improvement this year with point multipliers and % discounts. The card operates in conjunction with Woolworths Rewards, which makes redeeming points easy.

Thank you Woolies! – Woolworths Credit card is a no-brainer for someone shops at Woolworths even occasionally! 10% Monthly once off! Rewards card barcode on the back of the card! Apple Pay! Money app! And $20 gift card when you earn 4000 points (bit confusing as this is not Woolworths Rewards points I guess - but I will take the Gift card :D ) Woolies has definitely put all there love into Woolworths Credit Cards! Show details

if you get this many bonuses these days as this is when they were really trying to put their name out there, however you still get good bonuses in term of reward points and shopping at woolworths so i think its well worth it!

great budget – I use my Woolworths card to buy groceries, petrol and alcohol. I can pay when I receives my statement and I can monitor the amount spent on these items. I get double the points as well. I can use them anytime but I save mine for Christmas. I transfer my money over each month, no problems. Show details
