Pack your own bags
Why are you using covid-19 as an excuse, your staff not allowed to touch costumers bags unless you buy them from you? But yet your staff is touching every product that I have touched and put it on the line for them?! If I'm buying few things I can to it myself, but when you buying full trolley of groceries and trying to harry up ( while your staff is playing with her nails)so that line behind me doesn't have to wait,it's horrible. Business, you trying to make money from those stupid bags, that we are all trying so hard not to use. Disappointed with you woollies.
thank you for producing a simply awesome product

Jam Bakery donuts
The jam doughtnuts at Woolworths have no jam within. Only a dollop of jam on the side. This is disappointing known that jam donuts are supposed to have jam within. This is misleading because the dollop on the side is put on the side on order to suggest that jam is oozing out of the doughnut and it is not.
Bought a roast chicken. Pre cooked. Got home, opened bag and it had disintegrated off the bone. Drum sticks just bone. So over cooked meat, so dry it was inedible. Collapsed carcass.
I felt sorry for the chicken giving its life to this treatment, waste!
Me: not happy!
Both a Bad and Good Customer Service Experience
Whilst in a Woolworths supermarket recently I had a bad and embarrassing experience, however due to the determination of the Duty Manager of that store my experience was thankfully turned around. After getting cash out and lining up at the Service Desk for assistance in swapping my notes for smaller change, I had an incapable member both miscount the money I originally handed her to swap and then proceed to argue me on the situation, telling me I was wrong and that there was no way for her to now be sure as she had closed the till prior to me i...nforming her she hadn't given me the correct change back. Working in a similar store previously I knew that there is indeed ways she could have checked the amounts and I also am very aware that in a situation like this for a business like Woolworths "the customer is always right", and in this case I was 100% right. After having her argue me for a few minutes and realising she was not going to assist me any further I left the store and called the store instead, asking to speak to a manager. I was then assisted by the Duty Manager, he was extremely understanding and very patient with me whilst I unhappily explained the situation to him. By the time I had reached the store again, the woman serving me prior was no longer at the Service Desk, the new staff member working had been informed and she had the left over money I hadn't been given prior ready and waiting for me. Between her service and the Managers assistance, although I was still bothered by the previous situation I was able to leave the store satisfied with the outcome and happy with the assistance I received in the end, the staffs determination to turn my bad situation into a good one has helped keep me as a shopper at their store.
Blacktown Woolworths- 1. Sleazy security guard and 2. Social distancing ignored by Duty Management
On Friday 15th of May, approximately 8pm, I visited Blacktown Woolworths and found the Security guard to be sleazy- as he kept watching me whilst I was in the store, and also deliberately stood behind me staring at me whilst I was at the customer counter waiting to make a complaint to the Duty Manager. Secondly, the Security guard ignored Social distancing guidelines, and when I complained to the Duty Manager, about customers disobeying Social distancing, he replied that he could not do anything about it. In relation to the Duty Manager’s respo...nse to me, Blacktown Management could not reinforce or take action on people disobeying social distancing? A further problem was that the cash self-service machines were next to each other and there were only 2, meaning that people were standing within 1 meter of each other. The Security guard was sleazy towards me and stood behind me staring at me whilst I was talking to the duty manager. That’s inappropriate. Also, it is inappropriate that Blacktown Woolworths management ignore social distancing complaints and does not care about NSW health guidelines. Why was the Security guard standing behind me and staring at me constantly whilst I was talking to the Duty Manager- that’s inappropriate and unprofessional!
Bakery Products are good value
I love a good pastry with coffee. A "fully loaded" almond croissant at the coffee shop costs $5 to $6. At Woolworths bakery, a pack of 2 smaller and "lightly loaded" croissants costs $3.50, which is more than enough and very tasty as well.
I used to go to Woolies & look at the aisle signs to determine where product was.
NOW - some genius has come up with a fantastic idea that all the old folk & customers need is three or four items on the overhead aisle signs to quickly find what they are shopping for.
What a backwards step - myself & many people I speak with in the centres give up & leave as we do not have the time to trawl the aisles.
Seriously - whoever came up with this innovative concept needs to be shown the door & woollies need to realise most people are time poor & need the old comprehensive signage whereby we can quickly determine where product is.
Listen to the people Woollies - or suffer the consequence.
Disgusting Meat Packaging
The two packs of Bladebone Steak we purchased from Woolworths The Glen, Glen Waverley for a casserole were packed with 350 gms on of inedible fat and gristle.
The packs had the fat and gristle side of the meat turned down so that they could not be seen. Absolutely disgusting.
It would appear that Woolworths will do anything to sell this meat.

Eye fillet that is just scraps - rubbish!
Purchased eye fillet from St Ives Woolworths and it was scraps vacuum sealed together. The meat was cobbled together or pressed together to look like a steak under vacuum plastic and fell apart on the BBQ. This meat could not be grilled it was rubbish.
Deli Staff Charters
Woolworths Charters Towers Deli Staff are the Most pleasant and Helpful staff, they always go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction .. Much Appreciated and always a pleasure to deal with xo
I'm surprised that the overall rating for Woolworths is so low. After facing somewhat contemptuous attitudes from frontline staff in a competing supermarket, I was greeted with warm, courteous and helpful staff at Woolworths in both local stores in Salisbury SA. This surely means more to customers than product quality etc. I heartily commend both staff and management, the latter who have clearly spent real effort in training and screening of their staff.
Woolworths home brand rice is like plastic
No matter how you try to cook them, they taste like plastic made in China.
We tried soaking in water for quite sometime to soften it up a bit, doesn't work.
Woolworths in Noranda Shopping centre - Very poor costumer service
Very poor costumer service in checkout. Checkout girl started crying after I told her I’m waiting in her line, after she called a costumer from a different line first. Another worker came and yelled at me in front everyone, even though other customers behind me also told the checkout girl I wasn’t being rude to her. After I went back to the store and asked for the manager. I found out the manager was the one that yelled at me saying I was rude to their worker. I then asked her if she even knew the full story and she replied no ... yet she proceeded to tell me off. I was a weekly costumer, I no longer go there. Basic manners needed. Especially in tough times.

Fast service in store
The store was clean and all products needed were available. They were concerned about there cleanliness and hand sanitizer was available upon entering the store. They had great specials and staff were presentable

Price gouging on hand sanitisers.
There was a bamboo basket filled with very small (50ml) hand sanitisers (plain, not "hospital grade" or other excuse-inducing type) on each checkout desk. I asked the operating staff for the price and I was shocked to be informed that there were sold for $4 each!! Is there really a state authority that regulates the pricing of such a necessary item or the people are abandonded to the arbitrary decision-making of the retail businesses?
Best supermarket in town - Nundah Qld
The store is full of products which we enjoy. I love the way Nundah has changed the display of fruit and veges. The staff are very helpful. People from Brisbane definetely love the service that Woolworths show, and the environment is calm, caring, and very loving.
Woolworths mixed nuts 375gms. Not!
Pack shows almonds cashews pistachio macadamia and peanuts.
Its 97% peanuts! Rip off misleading pack picture and words. At $13 kg for almost 100% peanuts most unsatisfactory.
Will never purchase this product again.
Brilliant - Great Quality
Have visited the new Woolworths Metro Castle Hill 4 times since its recent opening and must say the Meat, Chicken and Produce are quality. Woolies prices throughout this very convenient new store. Look forward to being a very regular shopper.
Questions & Answers
Why don't you sell racks of lamb in your stores any more but they are available to order online I don't shop online
I shop at Deception Bay store and could not buy 3 basic items. 1. Mud Cake in fact any fresh cakes. 2.Hungarian Salami mild or hot. 3. Devon from the deli This was on Monday afternoon. I was informed by staff that they had none in stock My question is how could you run out of three basic items like these ?
Yes and the QUESTION WAS
why were they totally out of 3 basic products ???? on a Monday afternoon Possibly because it is in a lower socioeconomic area and they dont give a rats arse about customers in Dbay Or is it because they got caught ripping off their employees and have to cut back on stock orders topay them back. Go to woolies at Kenmore and its a different story And by the way the site said ask a question which i did
I would never classify cake, salami and devon as BASIC items. As you know they don’t answer in this review site. Easy solution-shop at Kenmore
Is the current meat packaging in Woolies
going to continue. Meat is grey and smells. Both beef and pork are disgusting. Have moved to Coles in the interim. Hoping we change back to original meat products.
