4 SueM  · God pricing but please get ride of 4 wheel shopping carts
5 Peter V  · My local woolies has always been good. they are always treat me well. Thanks team
1 Peter H.  · Expensive, out of stock, rude people. If it wasn’t for the duopoly these people wouldn’t have been able to stay in business
1 Philip  · Why does woolworths continually list specials in store and then not have them available or charge the wrong price Prospect Vale Marketplace is bad for it
1 Robyn M.  · Shame on Woolworths for selling canned fruit from China. Aldi sells 99% Australian canned fruit for the same price. Pity the fruit farmers
1 Clive C.  · Gluten free hot cross buns. Should I eat these or a handful of straw. The straw would be better. Absolutely awful.

Thank you, Woolies, for finally carrying a chilled coffee drink that is both yummy and honest. Many of your offered products advertise “No Sugar Added” which is deceitful because their coffee contains unadvertised chemical sweetener. Hunt and Brew brand coffee is the perfect non-sweetened drink I’ve been looking for, so thank you.

I shop weekly on a Sunday morning with my daughter at the Westfield Liverpool store and we are both very impressed by the services offered by Sangi the customer service person who normally works in the self-service area. She has got "I'm here to help" printed on her back and she really means that. We are always so happy when we see her at the store. Many Thanks Sangi, keep up the good work! Show details

Doncaster 3128. I have switched to this store because they have cashiers and not self serve registers like the local Coles store. Also, they don’t use Palantir for surveillance like Coles do. Show details

**Review Title: Serious Health Concerns at Woolworths Rhodes - Mouldy Food and Negligent Staff** “[Name Removed]“ Rhodes – **Review Title: Serious Health Concerns at Woolworths Rhodes - Mouldy Food and Negligent Staff** I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a troubling incident I experienced at Woolworths Rhodes. During my recent visit, I discovered mouldy food items being sold on the shelves. This is not just an issue of poor quality; it raises serious… Read more

health risks for customers.

When I brought this matter to the attention of a staff member named [Name Removed], I was shocked by her lack of concern. Instead of taking the issue seriously, she simply removed one lemon from the affected area and left all the other mouldy products on display. This is unacceptable behavior, especially in a food retail environment where health and safety should be a top priority.

What’s even more alarming is that [Name Removed] went back to the checkout and continued to serve customers without notifying anyone else about the mouldy food. This negligence not only compromises the safety of the products being sold but also puts the health of the public at risk.

I urge Woolworths to take immediate action regarding this matter. Food safety is paramount, and incidents like this cannot be overlooked. Customers deserve to shop in a safe environment, and it is crucial that staff members are trained to handle such issues appropriately. I hope this review prompts a thorough investigation into the practices at this location.

After spending some time house swapping in the UK my wife and I experienced English Pub food. We both very quickly fell for Cumberland Sausages, a unique pub meal! We were shopping at our local Woolworths and came accross sausages claiming to be English Cumberland Sausages. We bought 2 packs at a premium price (for sausages). What a TOTAL… Read more

DISSAPPOINTMENT!!! They were very bad poor quality made from mainly low grade pork, plenty of lumps of fat and gristle. They were inedible and we gave some to our dog and he almost immediately spewed it up. So not even fit for dog food. I should have known better! This is so typical of many of Woolworths poisonous high salt and sugar processed products. Woolworths does not care what they sell to the public , so long as they can make massive profits on garbage. And sell plastic bags (WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE PHASED OUT) to also massively increase their profits. A very poor Corporate Citizen.

I sent a email to Ms Bardwell Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Woolworths Group, discussing the incident, who passed me on to [Name Removed] Advocacy Customer Contact Specialist, who accused me of throwing a loaf of bread at the manager. I stated no way I never spoke to the manager only [Name Removed] she completely rejected my discussion, stating there was a CCTV of me. I contacted the Australian Privacy Principle (APP) 12, for a copy of the CCTV they advised me there was none nor a complaint registered on the day of the incident. I wrote to the board members but still I have not heard back. I have been accused of yelling in the store, called a thief, accused of throwing a loaf of bread a the manager, while I have been lied to by [Name Removed]. Woolworths advertises great customer service WHAT A JOKE.

Again I found another misleading and tricky in store advertising of products in Woolworths Supermarket. In the distance you can see a huge HALF PRICE sign at the freezer and so assumed that's the special price being offered. When I went and took some packets of the frozen foods, I then noticed that this was not a half offer price but instead there… Read more

was a much smaller price sign stating only "20% off". This kind of instore advertising is REALLY misleading and cunning. Most of us upon seeing the large half price sign from a distance will just take what we want and move along. Upon realizing this mistake at the check out counters, we can of course refused and returned the items but quite a lot of shoppers usually need the items and so will just pay for it thinking its too troublesome. Some ignorant customers DO NOT even realised this price discrimination at all. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE SUPERMARKETS HIDDEN INTENTIONS ARE AND SO HALF THE TIME OR MORE THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS UNSCROUPLOUS ACTION.

Negative rating- Fresh produce or call it stale produce . Carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, jalapeños to name a few. Their fresh produce has always been low standard but recently it got even worse. As soon as it is home, within a day it rots. See pics of their state whilst on the shelves in the Woolworths store. May be term ‘fresh’ means ‘stale’ in their dictionary. I of course ended up not buying it.

Dear Team at ProductReview.com.au, I would like to share my experience regarding the way I have been treated at the Woolworths Ocean Grove store. I am a 69-year-old pensioner and a regular customer in the Ocean Grove area. Recently I was informed… Read more

by store managers that I had been banned from the store indefinitely. When I asked for the reason, I was told it was because of the way I allegedly “look at staff.” I was also later accused of “loitering” outside the store.

I strongly dispute these allegations. I have never caused trouble inside the store or behaved in an antisocial way. Being banned indefinitely based on subjective claims like this has been very distressing and embarrassing for me.

As someone living on the aged pension, Woolworths has been an important place for me to shop and be part of the local community. Being excluded in this way has made me feel unfairly treated and socially isolated.

I have asked Woolworths to provide written evidence supporting the accusations or to review the decision, but so far nothing has been provided.

I believe customers should be treated fairly and with dignity, and I wanted to share my experience publicly through ProductReview.com.au.

Kind regards, Graeme Jacobs

Seems to be false and misleading advertising, Dove deodorant reduced from $12 to $5.75 when most other agents standard price is between $6 to $8 dollars?? I thought this practice was rendered illegal after the most recent Royal Commission, Woolies please explain??

Follow-up  · Both Coles and Woolworths play the public and the government as fools, false discounts so many random things discounted when in fact their prices are continually increasing. How little morals the administrators of these companies have, it’s all about money…..and no one seems to be able to do anything about it, it’s very sad!

I had gone to buy a Miguel Basque Burnt Cheesecake 650g for my son's birthday at Woolworths Baxter a few days ago. Sadly I couldn't find any on the shelf. So I looked around and reached out to this young man, Kallum, who was stacking some fruits. He was patient, kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to get me one and finally decided to check out the freezer at the back. He had the biggest smile when he handed me the cake. He made my day. Show details

The Buonissimo Pepperoni Pizza is the worst I’ve ever encountered. We don’t expect much of a frozen pizza but this product is ridiculous. The entire pizza has 6 small pepperoni slices on it and the cheese is applied in isolated dots. It’s poor tasting frozen bread essentially. Woolworths are either contemptuous of their customers or they aren’t bothering to look at the products they’re selling. Straight back to Aldi! Show details

I recently had an experience at my local Woolworths that I feel compelled to share. While using the self checkout, I was falsely flagged by the camera system for not scanning an item, despite scanning everything correctly. The poor young staff member who was forced to review the security footage of me scanning my items, right there in front of me.… Read more

This young girl, likely still in high school, was visibly nervous and uncomfortable. When I asked her about it, she admitted that she and her colleagues often "cop it" from both customers and management because of this system. She said they are under pressure to choose an option that the company prefers for the stats, even if it's not an accurate reflection of the situation. Management are on their case, making the entire process even worse. What struck me the most is the obvious safety and well being concerns here. These young employees are being placed in situations where they are not only untrained but also expected to handle angry customers and deal with potential confrontation. This isn’t part of a customer service job, and it’s dangerous. How can we expect them to have the tools to manage such stress without proper training? Woolworths, you are putting your staff members at risk. They’re being asked to act as security guards and bear the brunt of customer frustration. This is not only unfair, it’s a serious workplace safety issue. Most of us have a relative working at Woolies. Maybe it’s time for Woolworths management to spend a week on the floor, in the shoes of these workers, and see how they handle the stress and pressure of this system. Go to your local store and complain to management about this. It’s time to rethink this policy.
