It's a Big SCAM – I booked a relocation of my household stuff (2 bedroom & study) with WridgWays removalists from Seven Hills to Glenwood on 15/06/21. It was booked almost a month in advance. The booking was confirmed verbally over the phone as well as through email correspondence. I was advised to make a payment of $2200, two weeks in advance. I made the full… Read more
payment of $2200 on 28/05/21 through a bank transfer. Nobody turned up for the relocation on the mentioned date and I was not able to contact anyone through emails or by phone on the date of booking. Later on, I got a reply that my booking was cancelled due to unavailability of trucks. Due to this, I had to book a different removalist and had to pay extra and had to go through significant financial & mental trauma. I requested a refund of my money. For the last month, I have sent multiple emails to multiple people (including case officer, manager, financial officer, and CEO) regarding the refund, but I never got any satisfactory reply. I am going through significant mental trauma to recover my hard-earned money. It’s a big scam. Don’t even think about going with WridgWays.
Completely unreliable and inept communication – After having stored a house worth of goods with them for 10 years as was living o/s we are now trying to get it out of storage. We had a date booked last week and they literally cancelled 20 minutes before they were due to arrive. Via email. No reasonable explanation given. 3 business days later and still now follow up on when delivery can be… Read more
rescheduled and no expectations set. Will we be 1 week, 1 month or 1 year without our stuff. Who knows? Incurring out of pocket costs by the day as now need to either extend temporary accommodation or start furnishings current place with the basics - not to mention the stress and anxiety thisnis causing. Absolutely furious and disgusted with the service from this 'professional' removal company.
Five star service! – I cannot speak highly enough of WridgWays. I completed a complex interstate move, with unanticipated long-term storage in the interim. The initial assessment and quote was thorough and more than reasonable. On moving day the team arrived right on time, then wrapped and packed all my goods with maximum efficiency and care. My 2BR apartment was… Read more
located on the third floor of my building, accessible by a tight stairwell only. This was no problem for the crew. My goods were stored safely and securely at WridgWays warehouse. When it came time to retrieve them, my delivery requirements had changed. WridgWays worked with me to amend the terms. They were more than fair. Upon arrival the delivery team was just as fast and friendly as the pick-up crew had been. Nothing was damaged or missing. When they had finished unloading the team even helped me haul a load of junk to the local tip for disposal. I could not have asked for better service and support. I would highly recommend WridgWays to everyone!
Horrible service, damages and caused more stress than it was worth – I enlisted Wridgeways to move from Vic back to NSW with sometime in storage, the uplift from Melbourne was fine but the move from storage to my place in NSW... Terrible!! Damaged furniture and their attitude was shocking, making a stressful move even worse... not happy and wouldn’t recommend
A great removalist – We wish to thank all concerned at WridgeWays for the terrific job they did in handling our move in October 2019 from Milperra to Leura (about 95kms). This involved a move from a 3 bedroom house and garage. Everything happened without a hitch from start to finish and we are grateful for a job very well done. A special mention to our removalists… Read more
on the day, Carl and Terry. We were not only amazed by their strength and professionalism but the excellent care they took of our property and goods. They were also really cheerful and actually made the day a pleasant experience (well at least for us).
Avoid at all costs - You get what you pay for – Interstate move from Sydney to Adelaide No communication, informed of a ten day delay to my delivery on the day it was due. I was only informed because i rung up and asked where the delivery was. I took the day off work to be there for the delivery of goods and they just didn't show up. Given advice by the sales consultant to take out insurance to… Read more
ensure I am covered in the event of damage. Goods were damaged and my claim has been rejected because Wridgeways did not pack the items. They new this all along as I was always packing the goods myself to save on more fees. They are happy to take your insurance money but do not look after you at all with a claim. They even signed the delivery docket taking the blame for damaged goods due to poor loading however I am still yet to see a dollar in over three months and continue to be told my claim is rejected.
Spend a bit more and go with a respectable company like Nuss.
