absolute grubs – wonder if karl, wolfgangs son is a complete grub like his father is, they sell a house at tangalooma, and to this day still owe money to a pest control business, when they call he hangs up on them, and when they sold the house cut the new owner off to any gusts details for future holiday bookings the grub took. we wouldnt give these grubs any money for there diamonds if they can rip off a samll pest control business.

Perfect Custom Diamond Ring! Exceeded my expections on all levels! – Approaching 30 years of marriage, and turning a special age this year, my husband gave me an amazing ‘project ‘ of finding my dream diamond ring. We didn’t want a ring from a chain store and I had designed my wedding ring years ago and although a nice ring, it didn’t quite turn-out as I had imagined, hence my reluctance to go down the design path again. After seeing a segment on the Morning Show with Karl from Xennox Diamonds in Brisbane discussing diamonds and design, I got a hold of his book ‘ Rock Her World’. I never knew there was so much to know about diamonds, the book was a great research tool, from there I decided I would take the chance to have my ring made.

I contacted Xennox Diamonds, and consulted with the Business Manager and Design Consultant Lisa Luck, who reassured me about the processes at Xennox to ensure that I would get the ring design of my dreams. Lisa is very passionate about her work and obviously very knowledgeable. Lisa patiently highlighted the differences in diamonds offered to me for selection explaining, clarity, quality, grading, carat size. We felt confident in making an informed decision about what we decided on. With the advice of Karl and Lisa we selected a magnificent Passion 8 Hearts & Arrows Diamond. There is a reference in Karl’s book about ‘performance diamonds’ and you only have to see the incredible dazzling sparkle of my diamond in any light condition to realize it is something very special, an analogy would be , if it were a car it would be a Ferrari – not a Datsun!

Next stage involved my ‘thoughts’ about how I wanted the ring to look, as it was going to be a dress ring, I didn’t want it to look like an engagement ring. Lisa had amazing insight on translating my ‘design’ thoughts’ onto paper. Lisa came up with a design concept I loved, then Karl brought that to life with detailed drawings.

As I live in NSW Lisa kept in touch as the ring progressed, and I was able to see some sneak pea photos along the way , which were reassuring.

Finally the time came to collect my ring last week. I opened a lovely gift box, I was stunned and overwhelmed at how beautiful my ring was. The design, quality , attention to detail and brilliance of the diamonds, exceeded my expectations. It was my perfect ring. Even though I had seen progress photos, the true calibre of the ring is a completely different experience seeing it in the flesh.

My design was skilfully given life by Master Jeweller Denzil, who created the perfect setting to highlight my beautiful 1.09 carat ‘Passion 8 Diamond’ as the standout feature it was meant to be, surrounded with 43 brilliant diamonds on the shoulder.

I would like to thank the whole team at Xennox Diamonds for looking after my ring ‘project’. Special thanks to Lisa for putting up with my endless questions, and to Denzil and the other jewellers who are the artisans who craft dreams into lifelong treasures. My ring marks a significant time in my life and will be an heirloom.
