Xiaomi Australia

Absolutely appalling support from Xiaomi, completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with Xiaomi’s customer support following a TV purchase that has still not been delivered even after 10 days. What makes this worse is that no one from Xiaomi has proactively reached out to provide an update or explanation.
I have contacted Xiaomi Support three times in the last five days, and every single interaction ends the same way: vague assurances that the issue has been “escalated” and that someone will “get back to me shortly.” Unsurprisingly, no one ever does.
The most ridiculous part of this entire experience is being told by Xiaomi support staff to contact Blue Dart myself to resolve a delivery failure. This is not how customer service works. I paid Xiaomi for the product, logistics and delivery are Xiaomi’s responsibility, not mine. Asking a customer to chase the courier for Xiaomi’s failure is lazy, unprofessional, and frankly absurd.
There is zero ownership, zero accountability, and zero follow-through from Xiaomi Support. For a brand that markets itself as customer-centric and premium-value, this level of service is shockingly poor.
At this point, the frustration is real — not because delays can’t happen, but because Xiaomi simply doesn’t seem to care enough to communicate, resolve, or even acknowledge the problem properly.
If this is the standard of post-purchase support Xiaomi offers, I would strongly caution anyone considering buying large appliances like TVs from them. A product means nothing if the company disappears the moment your payment goes through.
Follow-up · Nope no follow up or response, i had to call and chase to a resaolution. As pathetic as a support can get.
Purchased a Xiaomi 11 Ultra – *I was told they had stock of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra *Paid for the device, waited for a week *Customer service then told me they suddenly had no stock with no ETA of new stock Update: they managed to help me find an open box device so I have updated my review. Second Update: Once again they have told me they don't have stock and cancelled / refunded my order. I have concluded Xiaomi Australia are incredibly unorganised and unprofessional.

Xiaomi Viomi A9 Handheld Cordless Vacuum - Poor customer service and not of a merchantable quality – Ordered Xiaomi Viomi A9 Handheld Cordless Vacuum Cleaner from the Xiaomi Australia on 2021-05-11 and it was delivered quickly. I fully charged the item over night and the Viomi worked for 3 minutes at the lowest power setting before running out of charge. Ok, recharged at had another try. Again Viomi worked for 3 minutes. After 4 recharges with the same outcome I had to act. I would think it was reasonable for it to last a bit longer. Merchantable quality, I think not. Contact support and the problems started. Xiaomi Australia responded with you need charge it. As explained above and after 3 emails they have declined to communicate with me. I like Xiaomi products but do not rely on them for customer service.

Great if you got time, money and love listening to stories – I purchased a rice cooker from Xiaomi Australia in May 2018, also trading as Ausmall Xiaomi Australia. There was no feedback on estimated delivery date, status of the order etc from them after the purchase was made on their website. After contacting them few days later I was advised I should have the item delivered within two weeks. I contacted them again after three weeks since the purchase and I was advised the item is yet to be restocked and would take till end of June 2018 for the item to be delivered.
I trusted their words and waited till early July 2018. I contacted them again and this time they advised the item has arrived at the Custom and will be shipped to me as soon as it clears the Custom.
I again contacted them at end of July 2018 and I was advised the item is yet to be restocked and it will be shipped to me ASAP after 3 to 4 weeks.
I learnt my lesson this time and I requested a refund and yet there is more the learn from them. I have not heard anything back from them on the request for refund and I’m in the process of reclaiming the money via PayPal, the only saving grace in this whole saga.
From my experience they are happy to take money from you and won’t even communicate with you on the purchase. They also love to tell you contradict information.
So if you have time to spare, excess money to waste, feeling lonely and wish to speak to someone on a constant basis and most of all, love to listen to contradicting story, this business is for you!

An update. Xiaomi Australia did come back to me. The item was couriered back to Xiaomi who now have lost the vacuum. That was three weeks ago. Now they are saying we cannot send a replacement until they find out what is wrong. Just read above. So in summary. I have no vacuum and out of pocket by $209.00. Why buy from this company??
