Great watch at a great price – Bought 2 of these at AUD$50 each from an ebay seller in Mar 2020. Both have been subjected to "left in the pocket" and went into full wash cycle in the washing machine. I thought they were gone, but they came out unscathed and were still working, till today still runs well. A lot of watch for the price. Ever since then, I have been buying Xiao Mi… Read more
products. Good priced and reliable. They are prone to scratches so best to buy screen protector film with these.
Does what I want it to do at a great price! – I bought the MiBand2 around 3 or 4 years ago - which worked fine for my first foray into fitness trackers. When I decided that fitness trackers were for me, I upgraded to the MiBand4 a year later for the larger, colour screen and more visible in daylight display - after looking through the more "brand name" options like Fitbit, Garmin etc. MiBand4… Read more
was not only cheaper, the battery life was amazing only requiring charging every 4 weeks (or maybe longer). I find that the steps are fairly accurate for me - but if not super accurate, it was consistent with my level of activity during the day. Sleep monitoring was also fairly good - although there were nights that I knew I slept more than it said I did! I like the alarm function as it will wake me up with the gentle vibration rather than the phone alarm which always made me jump! I tried the heart monitor but it was draining the battery too quickly. I bought one for hubby but it wasn't quite right for him. According to the MiBand, his step counts were really high and he only slept for 2-3 hours every night. But he is a fidgeter. The MiBand4 is still going strong 2 years later, although it is looking a bit beaten with scratches on the screen. I have bought multiple bands for it and it has outlasted most of the bands! I am now thinking of upgrading again and when I look at all the other "brand names", they all cost more, have features (eg GPS) which I probably won't use and battery life of 1 week (and that is a benefit?). Maybe MiBand6 is the way to go!
For the first time EVER, I got FAR more than I paid for – Purchased August 2019, for $50.99 and still going strong as I write this on Jan 6th, 2021. I rarely take this watch off, only for battery charging, once a month, and when having a shower, yes it's waterproof but instructions recommend no spas or saunas, so I consider hot showers would be similar, so I take it off. Now I did notice a rash and some… Read more · 1
burning on my arm, back when I first started wearing it, but I discovered it was reacting to my, (after shower), moisturiser.... easily fixed, I stopped putting moisturiser on that section of my arm, problem solved. I consider this one of my better investments as I needed to monitor my heart rate after heart surgery, and on comparing it with our expensive BP machine, I found it quite accurate. Enough so, that my GP checks it to see my daily readings for each month. I have also frequently checked on the accuracy of the steps counter and (for me) it is spot on. I use the alarm to remind me of medication times and I love that this watch buzzes me when I have calls or messages. This is really beneficial if I'm out shopping as my phone is in my shoulder bag and I sometimes don't hear it over the humdrum of shopping centre noise. I like the Mi Fit app that it uses on my iPhone as it is straight forward and (I think), quite user friendly, so much so, that I just searched for a watch with a similar app, to buy for my husband. I also love that there are many interchangeable bands available to buy for it and I bought a lovely stainless steel gold mesh one that makes it look quite dressy. I've probably missed commenting on many of its features, but this review is already too long. Let's just say, I love it! My only disappointment is that I don't think the battery can be replaced when it finally dies, but I'll just buy another one. :-) I highly recommend this little smart watch.
Battery life most appealing – After wearing for about a month noticed no sleep data, following week or two noticed heart rate could not be detected, then noticed steps counted were not what I had managed to do (I had started getting annoyed that it was not working effectively). I contacted the seller (little to no help), contacted Xiaomi - and they could not help as "not… Read more
purchased through an authorised seller" - beware of this small inconvenience. I had taken out some break down cover insurance on its performance - but those hoops just too tedious to leap through. Best thing - battery life and its visible.
Fundamentally, unreliable (you had one job...) – It's a neat device, nice display, long battery life. However the few things it can do, it doesn't do well: - sleep monitoring is not accurate; maybe I'm abnormal, but the device records 10-14 deep sleep periods in a night, sometimes when I've been fully awake; awake events are only occasionally recorded - no "smart alarm" (alarm goes off when… Read more
you're in a light sleep phase); third party apps don't work well - the heartrate monitor is at best "approximate", and can frequently be *way* off - the step counter isn't really any more accurate than my phone
I expect there are a huge number of these sitting in drawers after the novelty has worn off and the underlying utility shown to be deficient.
Better than expected – I purchased this fitness band almost a month ago and it has exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant after having a cheap fitness band dies on me after a couple of weeks but this one has been great. I have found the steps to be a lot more accurate than the previous one I had used and the battery life is amazing - I have charged it once on the day… Read more
I received it and now almost 4 weeks later I am only down to 32 percent! It has a beautiful amoled screen which is easy to see when out in the sun and there are plenty of different coloured bands available to make it more personalised. The only thing I have found is that the sleep tracker does not seem to be overly accurate, any time your heart rate is resting slower than normal it assumes you are asleep but honestly for $50 this is not something to complain about.
Great value – Have worn for 2 weeks now and am really enjoying the mi band 4. The screen works great and is really easy to use. I can receive my notifications on it and check my heart rate. I also enjoy the alarm feature because then it vibrates on my wrist and my partner does not wake up like they would on my loud phone alarm. Show details
Pretty good. Has some negatives though – Bought this from eBay for $50. Overall first impressions were positive. However after wearing it for one week I noticed it gives innacurate readings on walking and heart rate monitoring. Everything else works fine. Has nice bright screen and very easy to use. Very responsive screen. Great battery life and can wear in the shower. Show details
Excellence battery life – Awesome little gadget. Excellent value and battery life. You can get sleep info, step count, message and call notification plus heart beats.. Functionality is user friendly! what else you can expect for $50. I am satisfied user of this product. Show details
Great gadget for $50 – I have owned Fitbit, Garmin, Ticwatch and now this, this has great battery life, small and light, can wear in shower and basic phone notifications. Great little gadget, the things need improvement are, the app and the steps' accuracy. The app is basic and most parts of it, doesn't make much sense. The steps, at times it will freeze, missing… Read more
count, not sure if this has to connection with the app (trying to sync), for $50, can't complain that much. My favourite of all, Garmin - Solid wearable and best sync app. Overall, niffy gadget (I use GoogleFit too, dont bother to sync mi band 4 and GoogleFit, disaster)
Compact and good price – As a former Fitbit Zip owner, I wanted to upgrade to something a bit more hi-tech. I chose the MiBand as a compromise between my little Fitbit and a very expensive smart watch style item. I wanted something that I could wear at my retail job and not be afraid of damaging it! The strap is comfortable and the watch tracks well. Battery life is… Read more
awesome, I only charge it every couple weeks once the number hits about 15%.
I did scratch the screen at work soon after buying it, but ordered some screen protectors from AliExpress which covered the scratch and also protect it. Definitely recommend a screen protector from the start.
Great Product - Irrespective of Price – I am a Xiaomi convert. This is a smart watch that looks smart, and is comfortable. I am happy to sleep with it on, and keeps track of sleep patterns. Pedometer is accurate and functionality is user friendly. The battery life is exceptional. Show details
great value for less than $50 – Mi band 4 is not much different from mi band 2 which I have used for more than 2 year and still going strong, especially the battery. Mi band 4 is pretty much the same although it is more fun as you can choose photos and it has colours (unlike other mono colour mi bands). Mi app that comes with the band is not the best nor the most accurate. But… Read more
even the more expensive trackers are not accurate. I guess if this can last for more than 2 years it does a great job.

Great product at great price – Picked up this fitness watch off Amazon for $55. This fitness tracker is pretty cool. It has a nice bright colour screen and long battery life. It comes with a charger. It has text and call notifications and weather forecast just to name a few. Works with most android phones and iOS 9 and above. I use it with iOS and I love it. Its very responsive. Burns wrist like other earlier models – Wore 1 day and it burned my wrist 1cm / 1/2 cm almost healed 4 days later. It is caused by the pulse detection LED's that get very hot if using many pulse readouts. Apparently this happens with many Smart Watches. Emailed the manufacturer to see if I could get a User Manual they told me to go to the eBay seller...?? very disappointed with that reply.
