Worst car yard ever dealt with – We did a straight swap with our 2007 Maserati which was in pristine condition for a 73 mustang convertible and was told it was an 8/10. got it it had many cuts in the roof and the roof inside was full of mould, this is quite dangerous to breathe in so a new roof was needed. After weeks of back and forwards to try to get xoticar to pay for the new roof, we finally got $2500 which was nowhere near what it cost us to replace the roof so once again we are out of pocket. If we had of known the poor condition this car was in we wouldn’t have swapped it.

So our experience we found xoticar are dishonest and untrustworthy so I would steer clear of this dealer

will brush you off, not answer calls and outright lie to your face after trying to rinse you for every dollar they can.

I've dealt with shady salesmen before but these guys are on another level.

2nd hand car has, the main warranty doesn’t come with the car because it cost then money even though you paid the full asking price. Lastly the owner tells you stories and tales about running cost and servicing cost that are pure rubbish, he will tell you anything to get a sale. Don’t be fooled these guys are professional con men.

Zak & Warren - Excellent to deal with – Fair trade price on Porsche and organised to have it collected from Sydney. They’re now in process of getting my new vehicle sent to me from WA. So far excellent experience with them.

nightclubs. Their "showroom" had poor lighting was dusty and damp. Signs of rodent activity on the parcel shelf of one nice car. Most of these cars needed some serious detailing and were not presented as if for sale. I own a 599 and like looking at other makes in this sports car category such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes and even Audi.

Nice GT3 there and a rare R8 GT but both were covered in dust and moisture could be seen in the corners of the glass. I had seen enough to conclude that my car would not be coming here. I left the "showroom" and was chased by glancing stares, no hello, can we help you, thank you for calling by, I thought the day of the "Used Car sales yards" were over, but no I guess where ever there is money someone will be there to take it from you!

No interest – Went to Welshpool to look at a Cadillac which was ment to be there I did check before leaving home. When I get there no car was told “at the mechanics”. Salesman had zero interest to busy on the phone and outside having a smoke very unprofessional went elsewhere and spent my 30 k there loss

substandard. That was the major stuff, but in the 3 years I owned it, there was plenty more that went horribly wrong, like needing new cat converters, new fuel pumps, and a new starter assembly. Of course, when all these troubles raised their heads, the so called professionals scattered at a million miles an hour. The person who sold me the lemon, who was the original smarmy snake oil salesman, disappeared soon after I first raised my concerns, never to be heard of again. When confronted with this litany of horrors, there was not even a hint of an apology, or "what can we do to make it right?", and any restitution had to be dragged from them, like blood from a stone. I agree with the person who said if they were the only dealer in Perth, they would buy a horse. I would go so far as to say I would rather walk, than have to deal with this mob again.

Consumer advice: avoid at all costs!

Worse experience yet – Purchased Thunderbird , with rego, and delivered to Melb, what I saw when I went to pick up the car, was, It had been parked between 2 cars with MM's to spare in a back street so it wouldnt be stolen as it was there overnight . reg permit ( as it was rego'd ) so was unable to secure one until until I was able to gain access to a printer , possibly the worse experience buying a classic car that I have had, and i have had a fair few, would not advise purchase from this mob as once you pay, your on your own , and delivery will be the cheapest backyarder they can find .

Disappointing – I was also approached by XOTICAR to sell my vehicle they found on Car Sales. eventually had enough and retrieved my car.

I picked it up with 87Klms additional on the Clock. I would have expected say 10 or maybe 15 with a few test drives? They had changed my registration plates (This apparently can be done by a dealer in WA without your consent?) They lost my Number plate surrounds and my Blue Tooth hands free unit. I had a number of new stone chips and a nasty scratch on the grille also as scars of a regrettable decision.

Anyway reverse "Caveat Emptor" I guess and my advice... "Car Sales" and keep control.

obviously a ploy to get me there and present a ridiculous offer. The manager was arrogant, didn't even introduce himself and only initially communicated through his sales person. I even had to ask if it was alight to sit down as I was left standing. After much discussion and being continually given the negative aspects of them taking the Mercedes off my hands I had to remind them that they had contacted me in the first place. This was met with silence. My advice is buyers beware. If this company was the only car dealership in Perth I would buy a horse!

consignment process and somewhat fastidious customers, we were quite hesitant but during the initial discussions we started to feel comfortable with the team and handed over our car for sale. After only a few days had passed we discovered that Xoticar also had a few 4WD cars to choose from, which peaked our interest.

On inquiry about trading we were presently surprised when they offered us a very fair trade in price and one which didn’t disrespect us so when they added in a few extras like warranty and service etc made it a very hard to resist.

However, when we collected the car we were blown away that the team at Xoticar Canning Highway had gone above and beyond to present the 4WD like new and carried out all the things that we had agreed, making the handover gift unnecessary but all the more appreciated.

We don’t often make recommendations and are rarely impressed so in this case we felt that it needed saying.

GREAT SERVICE – Thank you to Mark and his team, while I did not purchase the car from Xoticar. I had major issue with my BMW X5 07. Mark took the time to explain and even show me the problem. parts had to be ordered from overseas was kept up to date and informed on progress. thank you onces again!

Dishonest and unprofessional – Absolutely dishonest. Unfortunately Xoticar embody the old cliché of the used car salesmen to the fullest. Not going into any details I would just like to warn anyone considering buying or selling a car to avoid them at all cost. I am certain that like myself and 'chatnoir' there are many customers in a similar situation. The big mistake I made was not to trust my gut feeling and not to look for any reviews. Stay well away.

is still not rectified. The alarm still goes off at 2 am in the morning. It has been in the mechanic more time than what I have had it. I paid over $4,000.00 for rego and insurance only to have it half the time. So I am out of pocket over $2,000.00 just for that. Never mind having to drive the car over 15 times to the mechanic, have some one pick me up, go back and get it all at my expense.

They just tell you what you want to hear so I gave them an excellent review at first, but they just don't follow through.

Find another company that will look after you properly.

tight spot I agreed to sell the car. So far it has taken weeks to get any money from them, this is despite the car supposedly already being sold and I'm still waiting. Through the whole process I felt like I was being continually lied to and lost all faith in them, not really what you want when so much of your money is involved.
