When a courier service calls you to tell you off – I have placed an order with centrecom for some computer parts online. They did a great job shipping it out and already the next day I received an email from express2you saying the order will be delivered. Since these are high-value items there is no authority to leave and I have had to stay at home and wait for it to sign. Tracking showed that the item is on board for delivery so it all looked smooth. Nobody showed up until the evening and after checking the tracking again it showed that the item was returned to the depot.
Today, i checked the tracking again in the hope that it would be out for delivery again. Not the case. Items still in the depot. I click on the Facebook link on their page and message them asking whereabouts my items are. They read my messages but for whatever reason refuse to respond. After about 20 minutes of waiting i did write "Anyone alive over there? I can see you are reading my messages so why not respond?" which maybe wasn't the nicest thing to do.
Minutes later my phone rings. Someone from express2you calls me to tell me off. Why am i going nuts on the messenger, they are trying everything they can and i am going nuts, i have been told. I responded with "if you said wait a minute or five, or responded in any other way i wouldn't have". Then i get "threatened?" with "Do you want me to return your order to centrecom?". "We are trying everything we can to find a driver, now we won't". And so on. He tells me then that the driver ran out of time and that is why he didn't deliver the parcel. There was no apology from their end, none whatsoever.
Firstly, since when are courier services allowed to call customers to tell them off? Secondly, i don't care if you return it to centrecom as i have just called them and cancelled the order. Not because of centrecom but because of the terrible courier company they use. Thirdly, centrecom called them while on the phone with me and they lied in their face that they had no driver yesterday and that was the reason why it wasn't delivered. The tracking, however, clearly shows that there was a driver. He just didn't make it in time and that is exactly what xpress2you told me on the phone.
Think twice if you want to have anything to do with such a company.
To sum it all up, if they did their job properly the items would have been delivered yesterday and we wouldn't be in this situation, but obviously, that is something they don't understand. Rather than apologise and say we will take care of it they decided to call and verbally attack the customer.

Screwed up and took no responsibility – XpressToYou was supposed to deliver a package to my mailbox. Instead, they gave it to somebody posing as security at my building without checking if this person was in fact employed by this building. Now I've lost $160 and they refuse to take any responsibility for their screw up. I strong advise against using this courier.
