Hi will Buffalo Pro kill Nutgrass in buffalo lawn?
Hello, No Buffalo Pro Hose on Weedkiller will not treat Nutgrass in your Buffalo lawn. Unfortunately we do not have a selective product that will treat the nutgrass without damaging your lawn. You can very carefully apply the zero gel to the nutgrass being sure to avoid as much of the Buffalo as you can as it will kill the lawn also.
'Yates Zero Rapid 1-Hour Action Weedkiller Gel' is an all purpose weed killer that effectively kills a variety of weeds.

Why shouldn't Buffalo Pro be used on Lippia ?
Hi, It is too closely related to a broadleaf weed not a true grass so selective herbicides will damage it.
So it will kill lippia ? That's what I want.............
As it isn't listed as one of the weeds controlled on this product I can't recommend it. I do think it will only damage it not eradicate it though. If you are looking to eradicate it you should use one of the Zero products. 'Yates Zero Weedkiller Super Concentrate' for non selective control of all grasses and broadleaf weeds, as well as onion weed, bamboo, lantana, blackberry and unwanted trees.

If i want to mix the hose-on content in a hand spray for some areas to avoid spraying plant, what proportions do I need?
Sorry Max I don't know and as you can guess from my review I would strongly recommend you don't use the product
Do the math from the bottle to your area to be traeted.
400ml may be diluted to 9 litres of water and applied over 20 square metres using a watering can and sprinkle bar (Dilutes 1 in 30 out of sprayer).
will Buffalo Pro kill the grass in my lawn which I'm not sure what type it is but it's in Tasmania
What hose fitting fits the Buffalo PRO bottle
Gardena
Hi Ron, You use a standard 12mm fitting. Michelle Yates Horticulturist
Does Buffalo Pro kill paspalum? I would really appreciate knowing this. Thank you
No, a herbicide containing DSMA is preferred for paspalum.
I have not been able to connect my Hoselink hose to My Weed and Feed bottle anf my ordinary hose fitting spray everywhere including all over me. In order to use my 2 bottle of Buffloo Weed and feed I will have to use a spray system but there is no dilution direction on the product. Could you please inform me of the dilution factor.
I use 5ml of the concentrate per litre of water. And because I don’t have a large weed problem in my Buffalo lawn, I spray the weeds selectively using a spray bottle. I figure the weeds need spraying not the lawn.
Just buy the connector from hoselink

Purchased the Buffalo Pro broadleaf weed killer concentrate. No written instruction on what ratio of concentrate to water should be used. Lots of warnings but no useful directions for use.
Its clearly there
Hi Mike, To find the label directions, please turn the product over to see the back of the label. In the top right-hand corner of the label, see the words "peel here". Peel back to read the directions underneath.
You can also find more information on the product page 'Yates Buffalo Pro Weedkiller Concentrate', kills bindii, clover & other broadleaf weeds in Buffalo, Kikuyu, Couch and other common grass lawns.

Thank you. Was not aware of being able to contact and how. So thank you for the suggestion.
We are using Buffalo Pro. We cannot get the weed killer to come out. How do we dilute the main weed killer.
Is there any difference between hose on and granular?
What are the implications of using this on a buffalo lawn which is then exposed to temps 1 or 2 degrees over 30
Not much
Hi Jonathan, It is not recommended to use Yates Buffalo PRO Weed 'n' Feed Hose-on in temps over 30 degrees as the lawn may be under stress from water loss or high soil temps which may cause an adverse reaction on your lawn.
DO NOT apply to lawn if soil is dry, conditions are very hot (greater than 30°C) or if lawn is suffering any other sort of stress (e.g. fertiliser burn)

Hello , I have sprayed my lawn with buffalo pro , my lawn is approx 200 sq m. I covered all the area but the container is still three quarters full , have I not sprayed correctly ? thank you
If you're sure you didn't go too fast, then it must be that your water pressure is too low.
Hi Susan I’m no expert as such but I also used Yates buffalo pro weed killer in my back yard and it takes awhile to use up the container full , my advise is to stay at it until you use about half, and then wait for a week or so then give it another go. Also in my review I might have made a mistake writing it as the product I used was not spray on already mixed but concentrate that you mix yourself and this will work much faster if you have plenty of weeds like I do.
How long after application of pro lawn fertiliser can I let guinea pigs play on the lawn?
once its dry
After applying the product, we recommend to wait until the product has fully dried before allowing pets access back into the area. This helps to reduce potential contact by pets and minimises the ability of pets to move products like herbicides from one area of the garden to another (unintended) area.
However, if pets are inclined to chew or graze on the grass, after applying the product, we recommend to: - wait a minimum of 7 days - mow the lawn using the catcher - collect and put clippings into the rubbish bin
Hi will Buffalo Pro kill Nutgrass in buffalo lawn?
I saw another product with ob off control on the handle instead of tap but not for buffalo. I thought this is good so no need 2 ppl operate this. When you going to release this "I know what customer want" handle?
Hi Henry, Thank you for your question. We have received a considerable amount of similar feedback regarding the nozzle design, and we are working on it; so please keep an eye out on the shelves for improvements that will address these issues going forward.
