The best knife I've ever owned. Extremely sharp & will hold it's edge for a long time before you need to start sharpening it. Use a whetstone.

Excellent knife, professional quality - has made me stop using my other chefs knives in place of this one – I have been a Chef for the past 15 years, and have quite a collection of knives. The Yaxell Chefs knife has quickly become a favourite of mine. It's a great size, and good weight for the long hours of use, and keeps a good edge with heavy use. The best part about this knife is the quality of the steel and how easy it is to maintain, which is important with how much use I tend to give my knives.

It will serve you well in the kitchen, at home or at work, and for the price, it is an exceptional choice.

Been using yaxell zen chefs knife for a week now and cant put it down! – First thing I noticed about the knife was its build quality it is on par with all other Japanese style knifes of its sort. However the price is much more affordable then any of its competitors. The knife is well balanced and comes out of the box with a razor sharp finish on the blade that has not need to be sharpened yet. Ive used it on many tasks in my cafe and it has done them With no problems and has made boring jobs enjoyable again. I would recommend this knife for anyone wanting a high quality chefs knife that will last a lifetime.
