Tyres No Longer Discontinued; Good Tyre, Excellent Durability – Geolandar G91F tyres were fitted to our new Subaru Forester when we bought it in 2015. They always performed well (mainly on sealed roads), felt safe and were not noisy. I replaced them with new G91Fs last week, after getting 89,332km from them; could probably have safely reached 100,000km if I'd rotated them more often and had faulty wheel… Read more

alignment corrected. Not cheap at $298 per tyre, but well worth it if they prove to be as good as the originals. The new tyres are stamped 0321; that is made (in Japan) in the 3rd week of 2021.

Great Tyres – Bought 4 Yokohama Geolandar tyres and I can say that these tyres are very good and durable. Comfort on wet and dry and I also notice that fuel consumption of my car also improve. Road Noise is also lessen and I can guarranty that these are really good tyres! Grip is good on wet roads.  Show details

4 years - Serviceable With No Complaints – OEM tyre on RAV4 now at 40,000km. There's nothing I can fault these tyres for. Were always safe in the dry, the wet, and useable in snow & ice for 10 or more days a season (with an experienced snow driver). More generally, no problems braking or with grip. Very reliable but nothing more (so 4star). Replacing at 40k as down to, or getting close… Read more

to 2mm tread depth and don't like driving on minimum legal tread (1.6mm). Replacing with Michelin Latitude Tour HP (5star).

Side well bubble – I was disappointed with these tires as I have had my subaru and tires for less than one year(13,000 miles) and had to replace a tire because the side well failed. I have not hit anything that could have caused this failure. I have never had this problem before. Yokohama would not warranty the tires. I will not buy these tires again.  Show details

Very happy with my G91Fs – My 2013 Subaru Forester came fitted with Geolander G91F Tyres. I have been very impressed with all aspects of my experience with them -handling, fuel economy and now have almost 67,000km on them [ which is low mileage for me in 3yrs, as that used to be my yearly mieage - must be geting old ],mostly on sealed roads, but some hard driving on… Read more

unsealed and bush tracks. The tyre inflation chart in the vehicle have figures lower than what tyre dealers recommend as needed for this tyre specification, so I usually increase a couple of pound of pressure, but when serviced the Subaru people re-set them to the recommended pressure. THIS IS TOO LOW, as even with my usual extra inflation, the outer edges of the tyres are more worn than the crown. If the edges were not so worn, I would continue with them for more mileage. I will replace with them if pricing is OK, and they are MADE IN JAPAN. I have driven over 2 million MILES, and have had some good experiences with other tyres, but replacement tyres were often not as good as the original stock, AS THEY WERE MADE IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY !! Same specifications, but different quality somewhere, perhaps in hardness of rubber as one dealer suggested.

Long lasting performer Yokohama Geolander G91 Blue Earth Low Rolling Resistance tyres – I am amazed how great this set of 4 Geolanders on my RAV4. I bought the car brand new with this set on it. I have driven 85000km by this week in Melbourne. I must say that half these kms are on highways. I have driven in severe storms, as well as 40 plus hot days, yet I was confident with the car with these tyres on it. I have been planning to… Read more

replace the tyres for a while yet at 80K service my mechanics say that I can run until next year. This truly amazing longevity deserves credit. My previous car Mitsubishi ASX had Bridgestones which wore out in similar driving in 38000kms. I was unimpressed with the car as well as the tyres. Forgive me I cannot remember the exact tread pattern of it. I read on tirerack.com authority website that there are so many variants in Geolander such as G51, G52, G53, G91 and G91A. I have the G91 which was fitted OEM to RAV4 in 2013. One more fact: these tyres apparently help the vehicle achieve its laudable fuel efficiency. Mine averages 7.3L diesel per 100km in my driving style. its a 2AD FTV 2.2 diesel engine. I use Caltex Vortex super diesel and engine oil is 5W30 nylon synthetic ACEA C3 class Since 60000km service. Prior to that toyota capped priced service poured inexpensive mineral oil and I used BP diesel. Fuel efficiency was around 7.8L/100km. Tyre pressure has been 34psi until 60K and since then i pump 38psi. I prefer 38 than 34psi. Unfortunately these tyres are expensive.
