Ordered yona 2.0. The colour I ordered wasn't in stock. They emailed with eta but it still didn't arrive on the dates they said it would. 2 weeks later I'm forced to get another colour cuz it's been a week since we moved to our new place and we really need a bedframe. without a bedframe. My back hurts after my cs so no bedrame just makes it worse. I'm not even sure the quality is going to be okay as it's cardboard.
I loved the idea of this sustainable bed base. However the cardboard squinches up and doesn’t reach the edges of the mattress. Its cavities collects dirt and dust and the cardboard flaps are always coming apart. I have found this a very frustrating product. Show details

Great product! – Love Yona for its simplicity, sustainability and chic design. The Yona bed can be built and deconstructed so effortlessly which makes it a unique product on the market. Still occasionally feel like it's going to crumble being cardboard but it hasn't moved an inch and is so strong. Customer service is also great which adds an extra star because the were very friendly and assertive in correcting an issue with my order.
Everything I imagined – Fast delivery. Easy to assemble. Just as described. And SUPER comfortable, and strong.
Love my yona – This is the second yona I have ordered.. just love these beds. They look great, sturdy and sustainable which is important. So easy to put together. The hardest part for me was putting the mattress on. But with 2 people it would be easy. If you are thinking of getting one, do it.. you won't regret it.
OBSESSED! – i love my yona bed so much! she’s cute, creative, sturdy, easy to set up and best of all environmentally friendly! i was honestly skeptical that the cardboard vibe may look weird but i’m so glad i got it anyway cause now i’m obsessed. she looks super cool and minimalist and it makes changing the sheets easier! get ittt:)

it - but unfortunately she has thin skin and by the end had so many paper cuts she promptly gave up. I had nobody else to help me. managed to put it together the best I could (it took FOREVER!) but the bed seemed somehow smaller than the mattress and kept sliding on the wooden floor boards (had to put a rug underneath half of it, which wasn’t ideal). The bed itself was comfortable and my young son became obsessed. I, however, couldn’t get past the thought of how I would change my bedsheets when the time came, as well as the rug thing… So I put it up on marketplace and sold it, obviously at a loss. The whole experience was a little ridiculous tbh. Also, it’s way overpriced for what it is in my opinion. As for my son, he noticed I sold it and made me promise to buy another one. I haven’t mentioned it since and it seems he had now forgotten we ever got that damn bed. P.S. The warning message on the box did make me laugh and seemed like it had been written especially for me!!

Yona didn’t lie when they said these cardboard beds can hold upto 3200kg , my partner is a 6’2 pretty big boy and he’s no dent to my yona cardboard bed .
I honestly can’t even tell there’s a bed base there but I love that I know my bed is off the ground when I sit down . Putting the Yona bed together was pretty easy , I watched the videos to double check I understood how to put the flaps together other then that I didn’t need to watch the videos at all Yona were pretty straightforward with the instructions .
10/10 Yona is AFFORDABLE & CONVENIENT they made my bedroom fusses go away !! They can for you too!! Thank you yona :)

It arrived fairly on time to regional NSW. Kinda bummed it was left out by the gate, potentially exposed to the weather. Not their fault though.
Upon unboxing, we quickly found out that whatever they said about “2-minute assembly” was not true. At all. Most people who attempt to assemble this for the first time, will be reconnecting pieces several times, with much effort, hunched over. And let me tell you—the one downside of this bed, is it’s NOT for impatient people. You and your mate/partner’s patience will be tested very extensively for half an hour. Theoretically, it’s simple but it takes a lot of trial and error, leaning down and putting back the bloody hook things that unlock with each movement. Readjusting, readjusting, readjusting again. QR code instructions were a bit vague and in our case, unhelpful. If you’re pregnant, sit down.
Thankfully, we didn’t give up easy (almost did) and got there in the end. Once you’re done, it’s pretty great! We used a Koala mattress with ours.
Things to know : • It is essentially a simple puzzle to be solved and takes roughly 30mins if we’re being honest. • The forest green bed base connects lengthwise (top half / headboard to the bottom half) contrary to instructions. • When finished, do not lean or slide the mattress onto it but lift and lower the bed/mattress carefully onto the Yona as it can fall like dominoes if you push the wrong way / get lazy from being out of breath • The cardboard flaps/hooks sadly bend easy • Free shipping only applies to certain areas • You need a lot of space for this. If your room is quite cramped, probably not going to work. • It isn’t for everybody but it is nifty for people who move a lot and are sick of MDF. • No creaks! • Get your helpful mate a beer, they deserve it!
UPDATE: Using for a month now and it’s been fabulous for us so far. No issues. The most comfortable nights sleep! Highly recommend this.

Okay for a short while. We used it twice in the span of 2 years. Each time for 3 months when my parents visited. Everytime you sleep and wake the Bed needs to be adjusted from the top and bottom. Tried to be supportive but product is not sturdy – I wanted to support a "sustainable" business but the products are flimsy and not manufactured to a standard that makes them durable. terrible – Soooo hard to set up - each individual square of cardboard needs to be even but it pulls and slides. I have thick carpet which would be the easiest - it was hell. the bed - which is often. The honeycomb shape makes it really difficult to vacuum - especially because you can't knock the side of the bed or it becomes unlatched.
There is absolutely no way I would *ever* use this as a guest bed - as it is advertised. It took me 3 hours to set up.

up was exactly as promised. Fast, easy. Literally no problem. Liked the instruction too, good to follow. One thing which I didn’t realise I hated about my last bed was the noise!! I had just gotten used to it I guess but this one is totally silent!!! No noise whatsoever.
So would recommend highly!!
