Vacuum stopped working after using it once! – I wanted a small compact VC that had a bag (dislike bagless), this model ticked all the boxes for what I wanted, I bought it online from "Dustbag", it arrived quickly, I used it once to test a small area before doing a full vac, I turned it off to change attachments, it wouldn't turn on again, so basically it lasted about 5 minutes in total I guess.
Now comes the nightmare, having to deal with the distributor "Cleanstar", I was told their "repair guy" didn't come in everyday, in my experience he only comes in once a week, on a Friday, as I found out after I had to chase them up on what was happening with my warranty claim, I had to take the Vacuum cleaner back to them, they certainly didn't offer any other options.
Instead of just replacing the unit while I was there (cost me $70 cab fare as I don't drive) which would have been so much easier, nope, their once a week repair guy had to view the unit, fine, but why not offer to at the very least send the VC back to me by courier. I hadn't heard anything back from them once again, so I queried them about this, the response was very rude and unprofessional, pretty much like the whole claiming warranty experience from "Cleanstar".
The woman begrudgingly agreed to send it back to me by courier, it has a two year warranty, but I doubt I will ever claim warranty for it again after what I've been through with "Cleanstar", I would prefer never to have anything to do with "Cleanstar" and it's employees again, so bear this in mind when buying anything distributed by this business. small, good suction, bad warranty service from distributor, I wouldn't recommend to a friend because of the problems dealing with the distributor if something goes wrong
