Very disappointed – Never book with this company! They sold me a hotel room that I paid for in full and in advance for three nights that was closed on my arrival , after informing them of this issue and finding alternative accommodation, they said it was a problem with the supplier and there was nothing they could do. provide a 7-digit booking confirmation as provided by Voco. It was two weeks before I had to travel, and I constantly followed up so that they could confirm my booking with the hotel and give me the reservation number as provided by Voco. They used to tell me daily that their experts were checking, but nothing happened, and the day of check-in came, and they did not book my hotel. On check-in day, I messaged them, but they had no confirmation. Below I have attached the chat from the day of booking.

Now, when they created this mess and never made my booking, I had to pay again with another vendor for that hotel.

Now Zen Hotel is sending random messages that their experts are looking into this, and on email, they write that the hotel is not agreeing to a refund. So they are living in their own world, trying to deceive people. Ideally, if a vendor fails to secure bookings, they should apologize and give back the money.

For weeks I had been following up for booking confirmation initially, and daily they came up with the same story that their service providers are checking but failed to book my hotel, and now after weeks they are unable to give back the money. Also, they are blatantly lying, saying that the hotel is not agreeing to a refund, but in reality, they have no contact with the hotel, and they are just making false statements.

Now they have prepared a fake story and want me to contact the hotel and ask them to confirm that no one checked in using some random booking number that they have provided today. If the hotel confirms, then they can look into it and still not guarantee money. It is such a sad state of affairs that this company still exists with all the blatant lies and scams.

it took four months for them to show me a page that they say was what i accepted, BULL***T. I note that the hotel in question has severed ties with these crooks. Keep clear of Zen, don't be taken in by them.

wasn’t able to receive the booking confirmation for a few weeks and no-one was able to help me. I was in contact with several people from your support service without any result. It was just automated replays:

"Dear Aleksei, This is to inform you that we have received your request and have already started working on it. We will get back to you once we receive further information from the hotel. Meanwhile staying completely at your disposal Thank you."

I’ve called the support line few times and the girl told that the booking is confirmed. I've called the hotel straight away and the hotel mentioned they had no reservation in their system.

After all the back and forwards, a lot of time waste and stress we finally received the booking confirmation and today we’ve checked in to this hotel.

We were shocked to see that it is completely deferent hotel, nothing similar to oriental style (photos from your website below). This was compete false advertising. My wife and I are very disappointed. Environment and interior design is completely different We had lunch in their dining area and it is nothing like on the pictures we saw. The food performance during lunch was in correlation with 3 stars hotel. and not five star at all. The rooms have no bath tub. The bed linen is old and has pills Internet was Slow

I would not complain if it was fair advertising with the correct true images of the hotel but when you expecting 5 stars hotel with certain design and environment like it was on the images, you don’t want to stay in average 4. It is very disappointing.

I’m saying once again this is false advertising on Zenhotels website. I assume Zenhotels team wasn't able to do an update about the hotel while the other operators like booking.com did it on time.

I have all the print screens available.

We didn’t check out straight away unfortunately as our relatives who came on the 12th of January for 12 days already booked their accomodation (2 rooms) knowing we are coming to Laguna Vista too. We haven’t seen each other for a few years and it was suppose to be a great reunion in decent 5 star hotel. "at this beautiful property will discover a museum of art and antiquities with a stunning desert scenery.» (Note from the hotel description on zenhotels, not even one antique piece thou) Our relatives didn’t have an opportunity to cancel their trip, so we had no choice but stay there.

We had a meeting with the hotel manager [Name Removed] and his colleague [Name Removed], they were very nice and friendly. They really tried to do their best and offered us a bit better room so we moved there. They mentioned that the hotel had complete renovation more than a year ago and they informed all the partners like Zenhotels a long time ago. Booking, Expedia, Trivago etc. had their pages updated but Zenhotels didn’t.

agreed to change and postpone my stay with them in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand even though they were non refundable bookings as this is an exingent circumstance, but Zen Hotel have informed me that my $705 booking with is non-refundable. So I state - are they wanting people to travel to their country with the risk of Coronavirus infections??? All we are asking is to change the date to April 2020, we are not even asking for them to cancel the booking and issue a refund! Never ever use them.

Very poor service wrong bookings and very very very slow – I booked two Hotel rooms for New York City for this October and was severely let down by no confirmation email, and after I emailed the Hotel the rooms were incorrect. A warning AGAIN not to book with this company - their prices are cheap sure, but it is not worth it - booking WRONG rooms, and taking WEEKS. MULTIPLE WEEKS to reply and correct.… Read more

unable to get a response re misleading advice – We booked a hotel through Zen. The website was very clear that all taxes and a resort tax were included in the quoted price. Just above the credit card details the clear statement was made that all taxes were included - specific reference was made to the resort tax as being included. Hotel we were advised that we were required to pay the resort tax - that it was not included. I have screen shots of the website advice. The Hotel advised me to contact Zen or Expedia (I am trying to ascertain if they are linked - must be I guess). I have had two phone contacts and I have sent 3 e-mails since 10 October. I was told yesterday afternoon that a response would be received in 3 hours - no contact yet. I need to clarify with Zen what to do - it appears to me that the advice directly above the credit card details was misleading or deceptive. I would like to discuss with someone - I have sent all details and screen shots several times.
