They are not responding – They sent me product with a missing part. So I contacted them and they said they will send me the missing part after I confirmed my address. But when I replied the email same day (few hours only after received their email) then I got a email saying their email is no existing...I tried phone call and it's not in use....don't think company is there anymore...

No fulfillment after a month – It is a false advertisement to say same day dispatch when you have no stock to ship for over a month. You just took the money and placed an order from overseas factory and expecting your customers to wait for 2 months because there was a discount. Show details

Desk is good. Service is not so good – I decided to purchase a height adjustable desk and searching over the internet I thought I’d go with Zenspace Desks. alike etc. I mentioned my address (I live on an island, but regularly get shipments) and was informed that although they had never shipped there before, they use a number of couriers and it should be fine.

I placed the order online and waited………. A few days later I received an email stating that my desk is on the way, but I needed to create an account on their website to see the shipping details. I created the account and a message popped up stating that there wasn’t any information to display. I dislike having to create an account just to see shipping - I wonder if Zenspace Desks probably make you do so, so that they have your email on a database to follow up with more sales. I called Zenspace Desks and I told them that I had created an account, as per their email instructions, but there wasn’t anything displayed.

I was told they would look into it and someone would get back to me. They did get back to me by email informing me that my desk was not on its way and that they couldn’t deliver. This was not what I wanted to hear as I had waited several days at this point and no one had even bothered to contact me to tell me that they had a problem with shipping. My problem was now given to another person in customer care to solve. They offered to obtain a quote from their couriers and I would do the same. I must admit, they did also offer to put the desk and accessories on a 5 metre boat to deliver. I’m not sure whether that was a joke or they were serious, but I didn’t accept. I could imagine the ending scene of the Titanic with Rose floating on my bamboo desk top.

Then they told me that they could not find a courier to deliver at a reasonable cost. I had no other choice but to arrange my own courier at a further cost to receive the desk I had paid for.

The day came when I finally had my desk and accessories delivered. There were six boxes, but there were supposed to be three more. No one thought to tell me that they had opened up boxes and put three items with other boxes! The mat was placed in with the bamboo desktop. The bag holder and castors with the cable management channel. The notebook holder in the mat box!!!! I emailed Zenspace before opening and sent them a picture because I thought the items were missing and it took four days before they responded.

In the meantime - Zenspace advertised a sale! Up to $400 off. I asked them if they could honour their sale price, (mind you they did tell me they would be able to ship my order before I placed it and it cost me extra to deliver, and my order hadn’t even been shipped when the sale was shown) but my query was just ignored. Most companies honour the sale price if you purchase within a week or two of the sale. I’m sure many people would find it irritating to buy a product, wait for it to be shipped, be told it can’t be shipped, have to arrange your own courier at a greater cost and then see a sale on the same product you purchased before you even received your goods! Well multiply that irritation on a large purchase where the sale saved you $400! No one has got back to me. (My email regarding the sale was the same one with the items missing - so it was received and read, but I guess they decided to just ignore it).

Zenspace's desk is pretty good. It is very solid and looks good. My favourite part is the castors because I can move this giant desk around easily. The wood is pretty. There are lots of accessories to match. The website says 10 years warranty. I do wonder though if their sales service is lacking, how would their support service be?

So in summary, the products are good, but the service isn’t!
