Be wary when using Zesta!! – Where to start! I was recommended Zesta for my kitchen/laundry renovation by two friends, both having had excellent experiences with Zesta in the past. better, especially after I had been told by other kitchen companies that there were certain things that I couldn't do, but [Name Removed] said "of course we can!". He helped me get everything that I wanted keeping within my limited budget. We booked in a date a couple of weeks down the track for the reno to begin and was told that the project would be complete in 4-6 weeks. That's were the excellent service ended, not from [Name Removed] and [Name Removed], but from their installer. We had made plans for him to come out a couple of days before the reno started as I had questions that [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] couldn't answer. He failed to show. I took time off work for this and he didn't even have the audacity to contact me to say he wouldn't be there. Finally got hold of him 3 hours after he was due at my place. He promised me he would be there bright and early the next day, again no show and no contact. This should have been my big red flag. My install was a series of F'ups! He would show up when he wanted, work for a couple of hours and then disappear. I couldn't ring him to find out what was going on because "he didn't answer his phone for customers, only [Name Removed]". If I wanted to contact him, I had to go into the showroom and get [Name Removed] to call him and have her ask the questions, it was the only way I would get answers. He started installing cabinets before the plasterer had arrived, so where the old floor to ceiling cabinets had been taken out, he left a gap ranging from a couple of cms to about 10-15cm wide where the wall and roof meet all along one wall "because this was covered by the new floor to ceiling cupboards", only this was the wall where the fridge was so everything was open; he installed cabinets where there were literally no walls so when the plasterer did arrive he couldn't put the plaster board behind the cupboards; the laundry - this was the worst. He cut so many corners - cut pieces wrong but didn't care because there would be cupboards in front of them. He did one thing right with my laundry, I must say. He changed the frame for this from white to wood look like my large doors were. There was a design flaw with the laundry - I had a European laundry put in and wanted it hidden by large floor to ceiling doors, but when it was designed, they forgot about how the doors were going to be hung, so when everything was finally installed, my upper cupboard doors wouldn't open all the way because they hit the railing that the large doors were hanging from. So we had to come up with another plan for this. We agreed on reducing the size of the cupboards and having a shelf at the top. This is when I found out about his dodgy work. So basically most of my laundry had to be replaced because of this. Then the large doors weren't hanging right and kept coming off the railing. Every time I thought today was the last day, something else would go wrong and it would be 4 weeks before he came back. Finally everything is installed. I was told that I was getting a couple of new cabinet doors because they weren't hanging right and he couldn't fix them, but they never arrived, and to be honest, I have so much PTSD from this renovation I don't want anything to do with them again. Oh, and all this took 8 MONTHS!!!!!!
Totally dissatisfied with the follow-up after sales service – I have put up a review previously, (see earlier review below), and Zesta kitchens has responded with a number of promises, which have resulted in worthless words. Kitchens, I have now lost all confidence in their ability to come and fix my kitchen. To that if you are expecting aftersales service from this company, you may be disappointed.

recommend the plumber, plasterer, tiler and electricians to anyone. We will use all of them on any future projects we may do. Ours is a big kitchen which required lots of extras other than the cabinets etc, but nothing was too difficult for the installer or trades people. We totally understood the effects that COVID was having on supplies etc as it continues to have an effect on every day life for everyone. What you wanted the kitchen finished? – Ordered in November, delayed installation in March but didn’t notify us of delay. Kitchen installer etc have been fine - other trades charged above quotation but that may just be how things are at the moment. know it was coming. Order for doors was pre Easter and it’s now almost July. I ring Gina often on progress and the response is polite and always soon but no action. I know there is COVID etc but almost 12 weeks for doors. Sorry just not good enough. Make up your own mind on what your risk appetite is for actually receiving a complete kitchen. We have used them before but wont be again.

Terrible product, terrible service Zesta Nunawarding – Please do not trust your money with this company. They may be cheaper than others but that is the quality you pay for. They have made a number of mistakes in our kitchen, including designing one. Gina is always polite on the phone and makes you feel she is trying to help. However you should be lucky to bring them back to your house to replace the faulty items

Terrible service and our kitchen is a botch job – Sloppy, delays and poor communication. Issues included; forgetting to order specific parts, wrong placement of island bench which meant fridge couldn’t open, breaking our newly laid floor boards to move bench, cupboards failing to align or join properly and four months of delays with minimal communication. week to contact them by phone or go into the showroom in person to ask for a progress report, this lasted for several months. I got two free cutlery sets for all the delays which in no way made up for the stress, delays and having to cook on a bbq or order takeaways for so many additional months.

Finally finished! – Commenced apartment kitchen renovation mid-Feb 2021 and just completed mid-May 2021 (3 months). As per previous review the cabinets and accessories such as hinges etc. are quality. However due to production issues half the cabinet doors had flaws. Removed] who provided excellent customer service throughout the process. Initial installer was amazing, however as the job dragged on the installer's availability became less and less reliable (personal issues, injury and I suspect double bookings). Supporting trades (electrician, plumber, plasterer) provided average work. Plasterer was least impressive in terms of quality/unfinished work. Lessons learned: I'd never pay upfront and in full again. I'd seek comparative quotes from alternative trades rather than rely on the 'recommended trades' by Zesta.

Still waiting for kitchen to be finished – Demolition of the kitchen began on the 9 th November. The actual demolition, removal and installation of the kitchen went fairly well for three days. ceiling for a week and a half with all the insulation falling into our new kitchen but finally that part was finished. We were missing two internal drawers for the pantry and two cupboard doors. They finally arrived last Thursday but then I was informed they couldn’t be installed until 9 December. Zesta is of course blaming Coverd 19 for the delay in the products installation. I could’ve gone with the much cheaper quotes we received but I felt with Zesta kitchen installation would be complete within at least two weeks. I was wrong. Installation of cabinetry, not the whole kitchen – My kitchen is amazing and the tradies did a superb job but only a three star because when I signed up, I asked if Zesta organised EVERYTHING and apparently they do. embroiled in having to find and organise my own tradies, hence the question. I expected Zesta (especially as that was what I had specifically asked them and been answered in the affirmative) to organise a tradie tag-team. Not the case. The best they did was give me a list of tradies I could contact but only when I asked them. I did that and because I'm clueless, managed to book them in the wrong order and too close to each other, causing grief for myself and for them. Overall, the work done was incredibly more stressful than it should have been and had I not been lied to, I would've delayed the work until I could organise everything better and possibly still through Zesta. As it is now though, I wouldn't recommend them as a kitchen company. Unfortunately, because the work they did was great - I just don't like being lied to and that overshadows all the good work done.
Poor Quality and Service – Be careful if purchasing from Zesta. We had a kitchen installed, the saleman rushed us to sign and pushed us to have the kitchen installed just prior to Christmas. replacement the doors supplied, only the replacement came with scratches too.
There was no communication from Zesta Customer Service as to when the replacement doors would arrive, they just arrived one day without warning and we had to contact the builder to have them re-fitted.
We ended up getting the ACCC involved as they ignored all our emails regarding the damaged replacement doors, very poor customer service and product.
A year after the kitchen was fitted, we finally had the perfect doors we ordered.

Perfect kitchen – Zesta transformed a very old kitchen into a perfect modern kitchen using all available space. All good – Our kitchen was a fairly large job, involving knocking down 2 walls. 3D is very helpful, they quote everything including all the trades and appliances so there were no surprises. Our installer Greg managed everyone and did an amazing job. Highly recommend.
My kitchen is amazing – From meeting Chris in the Cheltenham store Andreas the designer and Sam our installer...the experience of buying and installing our kitchen has been such a pleasurable and easy one. Highly recommend Zesta kitchens
Caution – Product good...service questionable. We were lulled into confidence by good references on their website and the salesman/designer's friendly manner. Later we came to understand that no company would publish anything but "glowing" references and the salesman's professed skill was a veneer. We ordered our kitchen on the 18 May...it was completed on 17 August. (3 months). There were 9 "silly" faults, some obvious, to mention just two: the dishwasher space and fridge freezer recess were too small for the appliances. (Yes they did have the exact sizes and someone came out to measure). The most annoying aspect was that the salesman/designers immediate attitude and first concern was to blame the kitchen fitter and/or 'the factory'. (Yet both deliver and install exactly what he tells them) rather than focusing on fixing the problems. When we pressured for action he became indignant at the thought that he might have made an error. We have an email where he states how offended he is that we might suggest he may have made an error. He abdicated (passed the buck and responsibility) referred us to Head Office to sort it out.
Our message to ant potential customer is:
1. Be "absolutely sure" you know what you are getting in advance. You may have difficulty getting written confirmation - insist! (We asked for a diagram of the kitchen designed for us and was told, by email, we could not have one because of copyright on the program used to design it?? Insist and you will get one.
2. If you have any problems push hard and often, they will "eventually" fix things up.
We must say that we do now have have a nice kitchen, not exactly as promised or requested, but we accept it. We would not order another kitchen from Zesta based on or last experience.
A few hiccups but end product and installation great – We are very happy with the finished product and design of our kitchen. The 3D design program was really helpful with planning and seeing what the end result would look like. The designer in store really took the time to make sure we were happy with the design. house and a funny shaped kitchen). We did have some troubles with some late delivery of some of the cabinetry (owner advised it was a problem with suppliers from China) and some trouble with communication around this. This meant we had some mismatched cabinetry (but functioning) for a few months. However, the end result is beautiful. We love our new kitchen, lots of people have commented on how lovely it is. Zesta were generous in offering us some discounts on some further cabinetry if we wanted. The installer they recommended was punctual and accurate. The stone mason did a beautiful job as well.
Still love cooking in my kitchen – Was searching for a kitchen appliance like thermomix when I came across Zesta. I must say I am very happy with our Zesta Kitchen which still looks brand new after nearly a year. Our friends always comment and I know of two of our friends who now have a Zesta kitchen (one rental) and they are also really happy so glad we purchased and would recommend their products any day!!!!!
The most terrible business I`ve ever purchased from – The only thing I want to say - People, stay away from the place, never order any kitchen from them!!! Quality is terrible - my kitchen is 5 month old and I already have few issues (ex - edge strips are going out) and they`re not going to fix it saying it`s not covered by the Warranty. finally supplied in full - they were missing few things which they didn`t supply in time and were completely ignoring my calls/emails. Now they do the same ignoring my calls saying it`s not their problem!! They only thing they are good with - to take your money from your bank account (and their kitchens cost a lot!) - they`d not be late with that! NEVER buy anything from them!!!!
