Bosch Serie 8 WAW28441AU

I love my Bosch front loader washing machine – I love the fact that it has two quick washing cycles which I tend to use often. It washes well. It’s easy to use. The only thing is you can’t do a bath mat on a quick cycle as it doesn’t seem to spin out the water. I have since learnt you need to do it on a heavy cycle. The water flooding hose is a good option but not always easy to install it under sinks etc Show details

Made 3.5 years and ready for the tip – Purchased this from the Good guys in June 2018 ,tried to use it today won’t spin sounds like a jet engine , washing sopping wet and it just continues trying to spin ,have to put it on the drain function to get it to stop ! Poor follow up – Good washing machine for 16 months, then it broke down, made a noise like a plane was landing in the laundry, the technician arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem, said we would get a new machine, 1 month later still waiting, despite providing receipt of sale, rang service again this morning, was promised a return call, no call back, will go with a different brand next time

This machine doesn't clean my clothes – Machine not cleaning clothes properly. Sheets come out with completely dry patches, stains do not come out, clothes coming out with lint on, dark wash comes out with white fluff on. I have been trying to resolve with Bosch for past 4 month Show details

each wash there is water remaining within the rubber seal. Does it affect the rubber seal in the long run. That is my only worry. Hope BOSCH will shed some light on this.

program, load and reload and it's super quiet. I use the cotton wash and it is completed in just under an hour. It has many features, but not complex ones and with the touch options on the panel it's easy to self select your wash options ( is sensitive though) My washing has never being cleaner and smells great. The only issue and it is small is the excess water in the rubber seal and around the door but it's minimal and I just give it a wipe out after each wash.

Very good Washing Machine – I am using the Bosch washing machine about once a week to wash for two people. The machine is very easy to handle and self-explanatory. Bosch 8kg WAW28441AU – After 28 years my Whirlpool top loader stopped spinning (washed, rinsed, didn't spin). Checked with Product Review & others and got the thumbs up for this machine. it's excellent. So quiet, so economical & there's a light in the drum!! I did my first wash in it today & the washing is done very well. I got the German made one from The Good Guys which I could have brought home myself but it has a concrete block in the base to stabilise & I didn't want to give my husband another hernia:), so I opted for the home delivery, install, take away old machine and packaging offer. Best decision! I can recommend the Bosch Front Loader 8kg WAW28441AU wholeheartedly.

Awesome – Love this machine. Replaced my 8 year old LG that vibrated so badly would dance around the laundry. It’s super quiet, have checked if it was going. Plenty of wash cycles that I can modify. Love the light in the bowl, no missing that one sock stuck on the top. Gentle on clothes and doesn’t cause excess suddsing. So quiet. Great wash programs – Cleans the clothes really well. I love that I can add items even after a load has started. Very very quiet. Reduces the time of a program according to how dirty they are and load size. I like the alarm at the end of a cycle, but this can be turned off or down if required. Excellent Made In Germany Quality. Can't Fault it! – Purchased the Bosch 8kg WAW28441AU on Saturday. Unbelievable quality, and washing perfect eerytime. competitors complained to Bosch about their cheap prices on the WAW28460AU. Ironically, this is a superior model as it has a drum light and 2 points of leak detection in the cold water hose.

Also note: With Bosch, there are two countries of origin with the 8kg: German made and Turkish made. Make sure you buy the Made In Germany model. The Made in Turkey model is much cheaper but inferior in build quality and has a lower maximum spin rate of the German model. The German model also states "Made in Germany" on the top RHS of the front of the machine.

June 21st 2018 Update: So Far So Good.

Excellent washing machine. Only had it for a couple of weeks but super quiet and has a weight sensor that weighs the clothes as you put them in the drum, so you can't overload it. It also has a convenient led drum light. This is the Made in Germany Bosch model. Please be aware that there are two countries of origin for the Bosch washers; Germany and Turkey. The German models are superior in build quality although a little more pricey, however, we hope by getting the German made model that it will hopefully provide a long fault free service to us. Clothes have never smelt fresher. We previously had a Fisher and Paykel, and was a terrible machine. If you can afford to a pay little more, go the Bosch.
