I've had these headphones now for over 13 years they are by far the best headphones I have ever owned, clear sound true noise canceling etc. I recently had to replace the covers and that was much simpler that I expected. There my second set of Bose on ear headphones (previous was QC25) and I have the same experience, as a result all inear headphones since these, (for exercise) are always Bose
Bluetooth Awful – The bluetooth is worse than a $50 pair of sound peats headphones. The bluetooth has always been bad so we haven't used these headphones much, i finally got around to contacting Bose about the issue and the only fix they offered is to buy a new pair at a very minor discount rate. DON't BUY BOSE. Show details
Great sound terrible quality – I have had two pairs in four years, both have had a speaker fail after 18 months. I bought a non noise cancelling pair in which the cable frayed back to bare wires. The only response from Bose is I can have $100 of the price of a new pair. Great sound, great noise cancelling, terrible quality build. Show details

Bought these on a whim – Bought these mostly to use on long flights between AU and the US for the noise cancelling aspect and they worked incredibly well - made it very easy to sleep on the plane. Never had been a fan of Bose in the past due to their lackluster sound quality over other brands, however thought I'd give these a try These ended up replacing my Shure E535… Read more
and Sennheiser Momentum's as my daily driver due to the ease of use, wireless and comfort which I did not expect at all.
The noise cancelling is absolutely terrific, barely hear anything on my train commute in the mornings or when I use it at work. My colleagues always have to bang on my desk to get my attention :)
I can wear these for HOURS upon hours without any discomfort. I've don't think I've ever had a more comfortable pair of headphones.
Battery life is great, only have to charge these once every 3-4 days and it doesn't take long to recharge
Sound quality isn't the best but I am happy to trade this off as everything else is so good.
Faulty in less than 2 years – Purchased a QC35 Bose headphones September 2016. Two weeks ago I noticed there was a fault with the switch on the headphones – every time I turned the headphones off, the headphones would turn back on by itself. Phoned Bose and explained the issue and they said as it is out of warranty they could replace it for $380. I said the headphones did… Read more
not work for a reasonable amount of time (less then 2 years) and as per Aus Consumer Law they should replace it. They said the best they could do is offer to replace it for $275. I sent a complaint via email and got the below response.
"Sorry to hear that your QC35 headphones has developed an issue of turning on by itself. It is also possible that the power switch is already faulty. We all know that this is prone to wear and tear, but we can guarantee that your headphones will perform at its best within its warranty period, in your case even exceeded it.
The warranty for your headphones has expired November of 2017.
Based on the notes of the previous consultant that you've spoken with, you were offered a discounted price of $275 replacement cost. Were you informed that it is not only a replacement but an upgrade to QC35 Series 2?
Again, we are sorry about what happened with your headphones, but I'm afraid that its the best that we can offer"
Based on their response headphones will work during warranty period then will have issues. Waste of $477 for a so called world class product.
After going back and forth with Bose. Made a complaint to NSW Fair Trading and Bose replaced headphones at no cost.
I don't know how I ever lived without these! – I love these headphones. I am currently studying at university and live in a house with a group of very noisy men (think lots of yelling, banging around, loud TV, etc. etc.) so before these headphones I had no quiet space to study and it was extremely frustrating, to say the least. Now that I have my Bose Quiet Comfort noise-cancelling… Read more
headphones, I just put them on and can barely hear any of the loud noise that I'm constantly surrounded by - it's incredible.
These headphones are so soft over your ears, hardly notice I'm wearing them. The noise-cancelling is excellent, I usually use them for the sole purpose of noise cancellation and wear them without music playing, however when I have listed to music or TV shows, the sound quality is amazing.
They can connect to two devices at once (e.g. computer and phone) and the sound quality when making/receiving phone calls is also really good, as per feedback I've asked for from the person on the other end of the call, unlike all other handsfree headphones/devices I've experienced in the past.
The battery life is also very good, I've used mine for days with a single charge and when you need to, charging is very easy.
These headphones are not cheap, but they are worth it and I highly recommend them.

Best headphones yet – Bose headphones are high quality and extremely comfortable b. The foam is very soft and fits perfectly for all as you can adjust the size. It’s noise cancelling so you can get a better experience with the sound without having interference from the noise outside. The only problem I have with it is the fact that it’s a bit too big for my liking,… Read more
it’s very bulky. Overall, I suggest you buy it if you don’t like headphones where you can still hear outside noise.
5 years plus and still as Brand new – leaving this review after 5 + years just as proof on this headphones. after trying many brands, got these for close to $500 and until this date, still perfect. I did change the earpads but that was easy. Quality, sound wise, never had any issues. used them in gym, airlines, still use them daily and I would never use any other headphones other than Bose. Great noise isolation and reasonable battery life – Mainly used in office as in need to isolate from noises such as phone calls or unwanted background music. Does the job very well and no complain here. It might bee a little bit bulky around a small ear and I reckon you might start sweat a bit due to the good sealing. Battery life is good, usually lasts four days of 5 hours avg use for a charge. Show details

Great until they break – Great headphones let down by poor customer support, it appears that the service life of these headphones is circa 2 years, based on several instances of breakages at the 2 year mark. I rang customer support for help with an issue (constant beeping and no ability to connect) after 2 years of use and was told that BOSE do not repair head phones… Read more
rather they will sell me a new pair at a “discounted” price. This price including the shipping that you pay for exceeded the price I could buy them in a local retail store. So after spend close to $500 on headphones 2 years ago I expect more than 2 years of service life. Great when they work, no support when they don’t, really not worth the premium.
Be very wary – For 14 months I was very happy with these units, but for $499 I expected them to last way longer. It seems the battery has given up the ghost and Bose distributors here in Australia have totally denied any liability. Has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would’ve been happy with a pro-rata discount on a new pair but they don’t want to know… Read more
me. The symptoms were battery wouldn’t turn off and then it died. The battery is not replaceable. So, completely useless.
Buyers wait 2 years then be ready for disappointed – I bought 2 years ago qc35 now I can’t receive call through it. I called Bose customer service they asked 350 dollar have pay more. So that means 449 + 350= 799 I need to pay for that. What a business. Guys if you buying their product believe me it will only last 2 years. So before buy think about it. It’s your hard earned money. Great if you travel a lot! – I bought these headphones in June last year, and I travel quite a bit and take them everywhere I go. I am yet to forget them (touch wood!), but every time I take them off on the plane I think to myself "wow, I can't imagine travelling without these things". They are extremely comfortable, the battery life is awesome and the sound quality is outstanding. If they ever break, I will definitely replace them with the same. Show details
Noise cancellation is good – The first thing I observed with this headphone was how good the noise cancellation is. It is very helpful in long flight trips as it complete removes the noise. The music quality is alright. For the price I would have expected all the latest audio standards supported by it but unfortunately it doesn't. Show details
Part of my life now – Had these for over a year now and use them everyday to listen to music and block out noise. Really good. The only problem I have is that I lent them to someone and they sometimes try to connect to their stuff so do not do that. Very comfortable. You will not regret purchasing. Show details
Use these everyday! – I use these every day for at least 3 house while drafting up plans at work. They are perfect for blocking out the white noise from the extremely noisy air conditioner. I would give these 9/10 for sound and 10/10 for comfort. I would happily buy another set in a heartbeat! Show details
Literally the best headphones i have ever owned – Amazing sound cancelling effects super plush on your ears sound is superb and allows different functions with an app to your phone would not recommend these for training as because they are sound cancelling they create almost a seal and your ears just sweat up. The battery life is also amazing. Sometimes i forget to turn them off and come back the next day and they still have juice in them! only downside is they're quite expensive
Couldn't live without these headphones – Bose definitely make the most effective noise cancelling headphones. These are light but still really sturdy, helped burn thneafct they come with a sturdy storage case and the battery last a decent length of time. They take AAA batteries, I use rechargable ones that last 18-20 hours, the good thing is you can carry a spare battery and change it so… Read more
you always have the noise cancelling function available. They have great sound quality that's very clear and reduces background noise incredibly well. I've been using mine for almost a year and they're just as good as the day I bought them. So glad I switched to Bose.
Never travel without them – I do a lot of plane travel and these are essential. The noise cancelling is superb and I find the sound good. As with all NC headphones, there can be a bit of pressure build in the earcups, but a quick lift off the ears sorts this. Pairing can be a bit tricky, particularly if you have paired to multiple devices as they can tend to try to connect… Read more
to recent devices which have been removed. A little heavier than the corded QC25, but the bonus of being cordless is worth it. Charge holds well. Recommend.
Best headphones I've ever had! – I've done tons of research before purchasing this headphone and I'm loving it!!!! First of all, the cushioning is so good and it doesn't hurt at all even after using it for long hours. Secondly, the noise cancelling effect is amazing! Blocks out all the noise completely and allows me to enjoy the music. Thirdly, the battery lasts forever and only takes awhile to get it fully charged. Show details
I was totally surprised!!! – I did my research as many of us do not only reading product reviews but also going and listening to over 40 different brands in multiple stores....what I decided for me the perfect pair was Bose Quiet Comfort 35. I will say for my pocketbook definitely not a light purchase but absolutely well worth the money. I'm not only a music lover but a poker… Read more

Great Sound, Frustrating BT Connection – I bought these headphones after trying a friend's and reading reviews. The sound quality is second to none, as is the noise cancellation. It has a button for Google Assistant which you can reprogram to switch before noice cancellation settings (high, low, off) and the difference is noticeable. I find them to be exceptionally comfortable. The case… Read more
the phones fold up into is a nice addition, as well.
My biggest frustration is the bluetooth connection can be flaky. You can, purportedly, connect two devices at a time and the app will store more, but I find my iPhone audio doesn't play through the headphones when my Mac is connected. The iPhone tells me everything is working, but there's no sound. I have to disconnect the Mac to make it work (I use these at my desk, so inconvenient).
Over all I'd recommend this product, but I expected a little more ease of use from a premium product.
Excellent noise cancelling function – I bought these headphones to wear at work to drown out the ambient noise of an open plan office. I can't work with music playing, so it was important to me that the headphones would effectively act as "ear plugs" - and they do. They are a very comfortable fit over the ears, and provide excellent noise blocking (which would no doubt be even… Read more
better if I were playing music through them).
They are very easy to charge, very easy to pair with a mobile device, and have lots of gadgetry that I don't ever use. Highly recommended, and the service I received from the Bose salesman was exceptional.
QC25 are great. I can't imagine how good QC45 must me – Over-ear headphones but fold up in a nice case with adapters for airline, amp, and listening devices. Noise cancellation is great. I did a lot of shopping around to find the best at a non-audiophile price. Had these for years now. I look after them, and they've served me well. Show details
Not comfortable on every head Can cause pressures on ears – I have used Bose QC 15, 25 and have clocked around 1000000 miles on Qantas alone Bought the QC 35 II on Friday and returned it Sunday I will use my 25s and wait for improvements Firstly remember that these headphones are not comfortable on every head because every head is not same. extended the ear cups still touch other so there is a lot of pressure on the ears and side of head
Airline Adaptors not included, this is a shocking omission for a $499 headphones. Hi Bose I use these mainly when flying ?????
Plugging cable requires force so chance you can crack the plastic
Bose hardly do price reductions or promotion and QC 35 is on special now
I reckon a improved model is due out soon
If you head size/shape suits these go for it otherwise wait
One of the best things I’ve ever owned – These headphone literally changed my life. I’m one of the people who are sensitive to any sound. I get annoyed by someone blowing their nose on the other side of huge office, can hear a whisper conversation from the other room and cannot focus on my work when someone has a normal conversation near by. I get tense, I get annoyed and I cannot settle… Read more
for a long time. Weird? Yes... I know.
Bose headphones have changed my life! Literally. No more stress of commuting - I’m as relaxed as I was driven in a limousine. I have never realised by the noise of the busy street outside of my offices window was giving me a headache - not anymore :) I didn’t even realise that the sound is there until I switched those beauties on and my head and shoulder muscles just relaxed :). Not even mention the quality of sound and the soft touch of the cushioning in the earpieces and the cute box where I can put the ‘to sleep’ when I’m not using them. There is only one thing I could complain about - the joints between the headband and the earpieces are catching my hair and pull it painfully . In summary - all good things are definitely worth the moments of pain :)
Great headphones as long as it doesn't hurt your head – Try them in store first. When I first received mine I had headaches for while, however overtime they went away for me. The overall sound quality is okay, the major selling point is the noise cancellation. The app was good, rarely having connectivity issues and the controls on the headphones itself were good as well. Excellent headphones – I received these as a Christmas gift. These headphones are really fantastic, they work perfectly with great sound quality. The only thing I would want is that the headphones came with a microphone cable. Very good product by Bose, I would definitely purchase these again and any other Bose product for that matter. Great but the app doesn't work properly – I bought this right here on Amazon. Initial impressions are that Bose managed to improve on a classic. I moved from the original QC2 to the wireless QC35 and can see many benefits. battery reaches the point where it no longer charges 100%, as is often the case). Still, it is a small price to pay for the freedom of wireless listening.
Some minor gripes, however.
For those times when you have to use a cord, the supplied audio cable is only 4 feet long - 6 feet would have been better. A cord, you say? Well, not every source is Bluetooth. And, in some airlines, they still grown on Bluetooth connections while in flight. And the USB-to-mini-USB charging cable is even shorter. End-to-end, it is 12 inches, but really it is closer to 9 to 10 inches when you discount the connectors themselves. That's not much room, so don't think you'll be listening at the same time you are charging. Can you get extensions for the above cables? Sure, but I'm not sure what Bose was thinking by making these so short in the first place. Most likely, I'll rarely use the audio vale, but that short USB cable? For something I'll need on a regular basis, I'll just rely on another compatible cable that is longer.
The black tone-on-tone version makes it kind of hard to see the controls, charging port, and audio connection. But maybe you just get used to that over time. Also, I would have preferred a more obvious LED power indicator (more like the older model), so you avoid leaving it turned on and draining the battery. Yes it does have an adjustable power-off feature (through the app), but this seems like design over function.
As for that app? Well, to me it seems to offer little more than a volume control and some minor custom settings. This is an area that Bose needs to improve upon. And using the app to spy on users listening habits is NOT cool, Bose. That feature needs to be eliminated as soon as possible.
Amazing headphones, arguably best on market – Great headphones, I use it all the time when travelling overseas or in the morning commute. Noise cancelling and build quality is perfection. Would not know what I would do without it. If you are comparing with the QC35 II both models are fine unless you really wanted Google Assistant. Show details
Perfect sound with cloud like comfort – These headphones are amazing. Their name is QC or Quiet Comfort and both boxes are ticked to perfection! Quiet. with the Bose Connect app which is a free download on iOS. I have used these to travel around the world and thy are a companion I would never leave at home for a flight.
Comfort. The over ear headphones are like pillows placed lovingly around your hear holes. The pillows act as passive noise cancellation and compliment electrics. There is also padding on the arch over the headphones to ensure they live up to their name.
The battery lasts for 20 hrs which is amazing and perfect for how I use them. I probably charge them every 10 or so uses, which is more than acceptable to me. There is also a charging case you can purchase if you need more juice.
The Bluetooth is incredible and can connect to multiple devices and once which is really useful if you’re switching between. This is seriously the best Bluetooth device I have ever used.
Revolutionary headphones! – The QC35s are excellent travel companions. Flying international flights blocked out a greater portion of the plane noise. They made in-flight entertainment a lot more intimate to enjoy. They also were surprisingly compatible with getting to sleep on long overhaul flights. Being cordless, has made working from home and meandering around home a lot more freeing without the cord. Show details
