Saw an ad on facebook for an auction of blind machinery. I don't know why they spend money on advertising it because once valid bidders try to register to bid on items they completely ignore you. only "Online Only", but again no item list. The form i submitted to the project manager Sarah was completely ignored. Until emailed a second time to follow up a few days later she iformed me that my bid was not valid because no items listed. Where is the item list then? She sent me the item list, so i filled out the excel sheet she provided, sent it back with annexure 1 and 2( the excel sheet) as well as the last signed sheet. Email was completely ignored again. I called her and she cut me off and said "Yeah everyone's gotta hold their horses!" ? I'm only ringing to confirm if my bid is registered since she is nonresponsive over emails. I then wrote it all out by hand 3 hours later, the auction has now ended and unsure if they will accept my bid. I think the creditors and administrators should know pickles does not care at all and does even do their job to make sure people are bidding on the items as you can't even register to take place in the auction! I have now missed an opportunity to expand my business with relevant equipment due to someone who can't do their job right. A complaint was filed and nothing was done about it. Still don't know if I'm even in the auction at all despite giving them all relevant documents needed.

Tried to get some info regarding pickles sale process and fees etc, rang the pickles hotline to get some info, and spoke with some unhelpful mole who said fill out all the online trash and someone will get in touch with you., when I asked to speak to someone about it, I was told no. Bought a machine from Pickles Altona . They did not give full info . Misleading information / Less Item description. When we went to pick realised this is totally different machine which was not disclosed before . Branch Manager of Altona is a rude guy / racist . Advancing age and perhaps dementia affected my memory for just last week i purchased another car from this mob. This time the car was fine except for two badly dented alloy wheels that were not reported. To pick up the car i had to travel by public transport from my property in Benalla to Sunshine North a 4 hour trip that required a taxi- bus- train and then an uber I sent an email to pickles on 7/4 that read I INTEND TO TRAVEL APPROX 200KLMS TOMORROW TO PICK UP THE VW AND I AM DESPERATELY TRYING TO AVOID ARRIVING AT YOUR PREMISES AND BEING DENIED COLLECTION OF THE VEHICLE i received a reply on 8/4 from a Pickles Senior Collection Manager that read - I wanted to let you know that your payment has been received and the funds will be applied this morning. This process will be completed by the time YOU ARRIVE TO COLLECT YOUR VEHICLE. When i arrived at the premises at Sunshine North on the afternoon of 8/4 armed with a copy of the email i had received from Pickles plus a 7 day permit to drive the unregistered car i was denied access to the car and told i should have read the fine print on the invoice that i needed a tow truck for the car. I suggested the Senior Collections Manager should have done so also. The receptionist gave me the number of a tow truck operator who arrived in under 5 minutes and charged $150 for moving my car from one side of the security gates to the other. Salisbury yard to inspect them, and was told " you can't view the vehicles, you have to look at photos on line" I asked why not? And was told it is their "policy." What a load of cr^p! I tried ringing to get some sense, but have been on hold for 26 minutes. I do not have the time, energy or patience to deal with this company.!!!!

I was hoping everything else is ok, But when it got dropped of by towing Co ( Very trusted company I used for years I was told its Open & keys are inside ) But when I had a look to my shock & horror it was all stripped out inside with Many items Missing ! I have been their Loyal Customer for many Decades , but No longer can trust them, they have Decided me on a number of occasions. No Not a Happy Customer.. Be Very Vigilant !

Salvage - Ive bought a few cars from Pickles and other salvage auctions and i have found it standard that cars are worse than they appear. Parts are always missing from the car, parts not related to the reason why they dont work... its like ppl from pickles or the insurance company or even previous owner know its going to auction and they start… Read more

stripping parts from the cars, they do this by cutting them out, not just unpluggin them but cutting the wiring. Ive had an X1 BMW with a broken timing chain (mechanical) ok no problem then crack the bonnet and find the DPF has been cut out with a angle grinder... Another X5 with seized engine, water damage and componants all blown to shit by someone charging the battery in reverse polarity, recently a Hilux that showed missing parts (from an accident i wrongly assumed) but when the car arrived it turned out all the wiring had been cut out along with the missing parts - the ad did say malicious damage but i assumed that due to the smashed drivers side window - nope turned out someone has stripped the parts from the front of the car by cutting the wiring, weird considering the plugs would have been simple to unclip.

Remember they are being sold at auction as salvage with no mechanical inpection becuase they are worse than they appear and the best way to sell them is to ppl who cant inspect .... bid accordingly .... whatever you think its worth - halve it

We were the highest bidder on the auction which was great. Unfortunately thats where the service ends. Go to pick up the goods and treated like garbage. Rude, arrogant, unhelpful people at the yard who give you the feeling you've paid the money now get out of here. Very bad customer service, in fact NO customer service. My experience with Pickels is not a positive one I rang them enquiring about selling it then took 4 weeks for a case manager to call me but he did and explained the procedure he stated that if I had any questions to contact him I have and I did it’s now been 3 weeks since I did still no reply and I’ve still not heard from the selling team to put my item up for sale I can only say what a pathetic company

Thieves and scammers I was a loyal customer spending thousands of dollars so on my last purchase I bought a trailer paid in full turn up to pick it up and the trailer doesn’t exist. Absolutely terrible. One star is far too generous. I was guaranteed the vehicle I was looking at came with a valid RWC and had a good service history, missing only a couple stamps. It needed well over $4000 to pass RWC and had only 4 out of 16 services accounted for. The "customer service" I received afterwards was just as good in quality and honesty. Due to how they are set they do not follow ACCC standards. Beware

Pickle online live auction system to bid for the car is too bad. If you click by mistake just on bid..it automatically bid for without asking or confirming any amount .And then they cannot cancel your bid..and will charge you $1000 and they ban you for year or you have to buy that car and sell it again with there help...I would not recommend… Read more

The website is easy to use and navigate. The whole process of buying is extremely easy. The only issue I found so far is that it takes a bit of time for the payment to be processed, and the impossibility of payment by credit card. Show reply

I also paid the transfer fee, but I had to incur extra expenses to complete the ownership transfer. I paid at the department office. Pickles did not send a copy of the relevant documents to the department, which delayed the process.

While I initially considered giving a four-star rating, I felt there were dedicated staff members for the job. My bad experience isn't everyone's fault.

Can't contact the local auction house anymore. Centralized reception waiting is still TOO LONG. How many receptionists do you hire? No personal inspections allowed. Found the same car, color on carsales 15% cheaper, 9% lower k's and not needing two panels listed in need of repair and repaint!! Do your homework, know your prices

Not informed that items have a reserve price when bidding. A waste of time bidding. Vendor's agent then in contact to offer a purchase price higher than off the shelf from the same company. Yeah right! EXEQ only sell cheap imported chinese crap. Pickles staff rude.

Great bargains, Good feeling when you strike a bargain, they let you have it. Very straight forward I think. Too much good stuff with great potential you may end up overbidding. Show reply
