Not a happy camper

My husband & I bidded for a holiday to Torquay Holiday Park. This included 3 nights midweek receive 1 night extra with buy 1 get 1 free to several attractions and other discount offers which sounded great, as this was our first time staying in Torquay, we were eager to check things out. On arriving on the day we were told they were under new management and refused to honor the extras.. We were very disappointed with them........................We have emailed them with our reviews also....Wendy & Brian Reeves

Your company ie travel auctions advertisings is often on tv but reading through the availability I noticed no Qld auctions. Why all the money spent on adverts for NT NSW down south VIC and SA without opportunity for North Qld auctions.
Then on reading reviews that are so negative on your site it seems that your company is glad to take money from people but do not take full responsibility at times with some auctions as they are third party problems not your fault.
Wake up to the fact that you must take resposibility as you do the adverts
and run the auctions.
There is no chance of me participating
in any actions run by your company

Sorrento Motel fantastic service

Sorrento Beach Motel was a lovely place to stay. Very clean & comfortable.
The cooked breakfasts were delicious and delivered to our room hot and at the times we requested. The proprietor and his team were extremely professional and lovely to engage with. We would certainly recommend this motel to stay at.package 2 days plus x1 extra night staying midweek with breakfast included first 2 days. Very easy to adjust bookings with Covid . No extra fees were required.

Don’t do it

Reservation cancellation without my knowledge, non refundable even though it was their doing not mine. Unprofessional, no holiday, lost my money for no reason. I highly recommend people go elsewhere.

First time use, exellent experience.

Sought extension 3 times due to covid and there was never a problem dealing with travel auctions, exellent service.
Stayed at Sandors Motor Inn Mildura again exellent hosts and position.

It should be condemned

Ovens View on Riverside - Bright. The only thing clean were the sheets which was a blessing. The utilities in the cupboard, ie frypan was an absolute disgrace, would not even contemplate using the toaster, what could be in the bottom of that, as for the cloths under sink cupboard - where is COVID this place is not being checked obviously. Cobwebs so thick outside and BBQ filthy no one could use it. Talking to other guests who had booked via Travel Auctions, they too were more than disappointed. Furniture, floor coverings old and not clean. This really needs to be investigated and certainly taken off your listings for any future sales.

Disappointment and rude person

Won auction in 2018 but due to serious circumstances Asked park for an Extension which was given then covid hit us and was not able to go anywhere now they will not honour it so very disappointing. They have got there money so good for them and travel auction person was quite rude

we found the inn to our expectations for the money we paid, bed was comfortable and clean,service and food was very good ther was no additional fees .the booking was simple

Worst place I have ever been in

The shower was mouldy, there was a large stain on the ceiling, possibly the replacement of a smoke detector, toilet roll was held up by two suction cups and a piece of copper wire.
The only reason we stayed was because everything in Wallaroo was booked out.
Grotty, disgusting and smelly.
Never again

Anglers Inn at Wallaroo SA

$55pn is a good price for a very average needs upgrading room. Wasn't after anything fancy. just a comfortable room to have a break from home but still be able to do some work in. But what we got was a dirty floor & kitchen appliances. Saggy uncomfortable bed. Noisy Paper thin walls - all night revelry in unit next door, no sleep. Felt very unsafe. Food on dining room not good. Very dismissive customer service.
Slow in responding to complaints. Over 32 hours later held up carrot of refund but wasn't going to give one as I had already put in a bad review (30 hrs later).
Seems they prefer to bribe disgruntled guests with money back for good reviews but their default setting on responses is blame the guests.

Needs cleaning

The pictures on the net looked great , garden neat and very quaint but in fact garden was overgrown gate hanging on 1 hinge and cottage dirty and cobwebs in most corners. Grill dirty fridge dirty and needs descent sheets. Garden furniture filthy .
